Thanks of this I’ve just watched and changed mine.. the car was a bit sluggish at first but seems ok now , I’m guessing it takes a min or two for the ECU to register new plugs ? I took the coil pack clip off and plugged back in and the car seems to drive at normal speed again
@@drivewaydiyer6504 hi, my car is a 13 plate 1.6 engine e code a16xer, what plugs can I use besides original? I currently have denso k16tt in for the last 9k miles, been told these are incorrect but car has run fine on them, and how often in miles to change them? Thanks
@@drivewaydiyer6504 I've got one but I don't think it's the right angle if you get what I mean, I can't really get any leverage. Definitely not melted just a pain in the arse to get off I think 🤣
@@drivewaydiyer6504 glad it's not just me haha 😂 it doesn't help that they are made of plastic tbh so you can't just give it the beans to pry it out! I'm having a mobile mechanic come by tomorrow to give it a go as he's the one who put the coil pack in for me I drive my Zafira as a taxi for a living so any way I can do stuff myself is a bonus Thank you for getting back to me mate, you're a great help and have earned yourself a new subscriber 😁.

I had a bit of that, I’ve just put a new coil and plugs in mine and it didn’t seem right. Few days later it’s driving great. Glad it helped.

Hi what car reg is it? I have vauxhall zafira touer 2017. Is it the same?
2013 1.6, if it’s an ecotec, then it should be the same. Check your specs though, for gaps and plug type. NGK’s should be pre gapped.👍

My coil pack won't come out no matter what I do
Do you have a pry bar, I slowly get it underneath and slowly pry it up or has it melted or something?

You can buy a set off eBay for a reasonable price, those coil are a pain, never had one come out easy.
