      Thanks! Glad you like it! My only regret is that it's not fully universal. If I ever find time, I'll dive back in and make it work with any off the shelf receiver!

    That radio looks gorgeous. Radiomaster should make a transparent version of their radios.

    Hey there! What receiver are you using on the drone? What protocol? Is it off the shelf or diy. Any help appreciated!!

      Thanks for watching! I ended up having to make the receiver myself using a custom (and rather clunky) TX protocol, then for the RX protocol between the receiver and the drone I believe I used PPM. Hope that helps!

    Any recent quad would really hate that link even if you were able to implement something like CRSF to the FC. ELRS for the win

    Amazing. I just discovered your channel, and I don't subscribe easily but I did. I hope you will work on making a universal transmitter one day.

    where did you source those sticks from?

      I’ve picked up a set from both Amazon and AliExpress. Both were pretty decent quality, at least for a DIY build.

    The EZ-WifiBroadcast controller is awsome, I would really like to have 3d model of it so I can replicate it.
    thanks.

      Thanks! I actually used this model from an old classmate of mine and drilled a few extra holes in it for the Wifi antenna: timee1994.weebly.com/nintimdo-rp.html

    Hlo bro plz tell me is this transmittet work on all remote control things???

    • @ModernHobbyist
      @ModernHobbyist  Год назад

      That was my only regret for this project! I didn't have the time or knowledge (yet 🤞) to make this truly universal, so it only communicates with the receiver that I made, but in the future I hope to integrate it with off the shelf receivers!

    What drone is that? I'd love to print and assemble one

    • @ModernHobbyist
      @ModernHobbyist  2 года назад +1

      Sort of a DIY drone as well, using a generic F450 frame and an off the shelf flight controller. There are F450 designs on Thingiverse if you do want to print one though!

      Yeah read my mind! Literally 2 projects away 👍🏻. In the meantime, I did build a giant decent segment display to display my subscriber count, check out my channel to see it!
