I feel the same way. Especially since there's so many inconsistencies and plot holes in the last two seasons. In s8 i felt like nothing really made any sense because it didn't feel like the story they were building up to its fine if the characters were going to end up there but we needed more seasons.
That’s why I’m just sticking with the books. The story splits off and a lot of things are so different plus everything is from George’s mind. And yes it was so bad that I don’t even wanna bother watching the prequels that are coming.
I personally never liked the whole night king part of game of thrones, in my opinion it wouldve been a better series if they only followed the politics in the seven kingdoms and not the "great threath" that every serie needs go have nowadays
Abc Def In the novels there isn’t a Night King. The “White Walkers” are actually referred to as The Others and they’re more terrifying/mysterious. They are a threat brewing beyond the wall and it’s very clear that Daenerys is Azhor Ahai. The way the show went about it was all messy.
It’s because she doesn’t go for looks hahaha she wants somebody to make her laugh. She said she doesn’t mind if youre not top notch handsome or have a dad bod as long as you make her laugh, thats it.

The acting was also top notch given what they were given to say. The cinematography and directing was some of the best of the show. The writing was awful and had too many holes. That would take insane leaps of logic to try and justify that crap. To put it simply, the writing was ATROCIOUS overall.
I would say this. The battle of Winterfell would've been a lot better if it wasn't so god damn dark. I had to adjust the lighting on my tv to watch it properly.
Oh F off, art and entertainment are not a democracy. You can make fantastic films or music that not many people adore, but please your fanbase and people with taste to no end. You can also produce cheap and cheesy bovine excrement for the amusement of a large herd of morons. That being said, GOT S8 failed at all of those things, producing garbage that almost nobody enjoyed.
It's also funny that this particular phrase only seems to come out when something is received especially badly, because I also heard it in a lot of interviews after the releases of both The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. The MCU isn't universally loved but you didn't hear Marvel saying "well you can't please everyone" after Endgame came out, because even though there inevitably were people who didn't like it, they were very much in the minority. If by "you can't please everyone" you actually mean "we pleased absolutely noone except for an extremely small number of people who have to actively search for reasons to defend it", then you're talking bollocks
"Cant please everybody " Well that is true. But problem is/was they barely pleased MOST people tho. For "Cant please everybody" to work it has to be pleasing for MOST people imho.
It was THAT bad. Bran: I could never rule anything. Also Bran 10 minutes later: Why do you think I came all this way? The Dothraki charging to their death then being revived next episode. Dani sort of forgetting a lot of things. Jon and Greyworm are all good, after killing the lady they worshiped. Dan and Dave wanted to do Star Wars, so they rushed it out/ruined it, and they never ended up actually doing Star Wars. That's just how it is, no need to deny reality.

My fiance sweats a lot at night to the point where the bed and the blanket was getting soaked all the way to my side... we bought a bigger bed and since recently I sleep under a weighted blanket and extra layers of blanket, he sleeps under an empty duvet becaus he's so hot at night. Best thing we ever did!
If a writer can somehow harness and weaponize her natural charm, her natural voice, that could really be a hit movie. Most of the roles she's had so far haven't measured up to her in real life.
When you realize that Emilia Clarke is such a sweetheart that even after the fact she won't throw her own show under the bus when she has made it clear other ways that she hated it. She is a true Class Act and a genuine sweetheart. That shows a lot of respect and restraint that she can joke about it like that and approach it publicly with that attitude. As for me though, I don't care who knows I hated it!
"Who has a better story than Bran the Broken?" Um...literally every other character in the entire show. Hell, even Hotpie probably has a better story to tell than Bran does.
The bigger issue is most of the other characters don’t even know his story. Bran has a good story but it makes no sense for any other character not a stark to care. Why would all these houses stay loyal to bran if even sansa won’t. Like really it’s her own brother on the throne and she’s like nah we’re good. I personally like brans story in the book and show but maybe I’m the minority there.

it was so bad it ruined the best show in tv history, i can't even go back and watch the good stuff knowing where it ends up, utterly ruined
100%
Abc Def
In the novels there isn’t a Night King. The “White Walkers” are actually referred to as The Others and they’re more terrifying/mysterious. They are a threat brewing beyond the wall and it’s very clear that Daenerys is Azhor Ahai. The way the show went about it was all messy.

ya i had no real problem with it except the very last episode, but how many shows do that lol lost sopranos etc one or so episodes isnt gonna kill a show for me
GoT season 8 had great special effects. That's cool I would say.
The acting was also top notch given what they were given to say. The cinematography and directing was some of the best of the show.
The writing was awful and had too many holes. That would take insane leaps of logic to try and justify that crap.
To put it simply, the writing was ATROCIOUS overall.
With that huge of a budget they pretty much could achieve anything on the computers.
But talented writing is not always correlated with budget.
Pretty much everything was good about it, exept for the writing. That was utter garbage.
I would say this. The battle of Winterfell would've been a lot better if it wasn't so god damn dark. I had to adjust the lighting on my tv to watch it properly.
@@simiankleurde1544 I had that same problem with S02E09 _Blackwater._ Since then I watched every episode at night with the lights off.
Isn't it ironic how the GOT opinion was told by a guy named Dan, short for Daniel, aka Daniel Brett Weiss, aka D.B. Weiss aka the producer of GOT
I hate how “you can’t please everyone” seems to be the default excuse. If you don’t please at least the majority you failed.
No
An0niem4 Man, watching season 8 is like watching your child getting beaten up right in front of you, and you can do nothing about it
It's also funny that this particular phrase only seems to come out when something is received especially badly, because I also heard it in a lot of interviews after the releases of both The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
No. You have succeeded if you made something good, if the people like it or not does not matter. The final season achieved neither
"Cant please everybody "
Well that is true.

(You don't need to watch them all the way through, since it is a lot, but watching some of the videos is worthwhile). The writing was rushed, lazily done and contradicted the what had been set up previously (with the characters arcs, plot points and tone). I was disappointed by Season 7. When Season 8 came out, I thought things would improve, but defending it became silly after each episode managed decrease in quality more than the one before it.

The two duvets is actually the best. My husband is such a blanket hog that he'd wake me up at night when he stole all the blankets from me and would roll over them so I couldn't get them back. His Mum ended up giving me a single sized quilt she made so now I use that, he has his own doona and we're much happier. I get a much better sleep now I don't wake up freezing in the middle of the night.

The way Emilia Clarke moves her eyebrows around is making my heart flutter 😍
"Who has a better story than Bran the Broken?"
Um...literally every other character in the entire show.
