I'm a chef and have been in a serious creative fog lately, today's practice gave my creative juices a new avenue to explore, or play. As soon as the video ended, I was struck with my menu specials for the weekend, like it was just sitting in my head all ready to go, just waiting to be unlocked. So I'm curious... how have these practices had a noticeable impact on everyone else's daily life?
I feel more centred in my body all the time. Like, making tea or brushing my teeth or sitting down on the couch....i feel like I'm moving from my centre more, and it makes every kind of movement feel better.
I’ve noticed that I have a lot more patience in my fine art/studio practice. It’s way easier to trust and show up for the “big unknown” in my creative process 🙂

A nice way to start the day, and the easy practice was just what my body needed today! ❤ Had to go back and do the standing splits on the left side as well after the video had finished, or else I might have risked being crooked for the rest of the day 😳😂 Can't have that, now can we?? Thank you to the 4200 practicing with me this morning (or afternoon or evening depending on where you are), and see you for the upcoming homestretch of the journey! 😎 Namaste 🙏
🌞Day 19🌞 My neighbour walked past our window and saw me doing the slow and conscious walk from the back of the mat to the front. I was very focused on the gaze and didn’t notice him at first. When I noticed him he looked so concerned - It must have seemed like I was possessed or sleep-walking. 😂 Had me laughing for a bit as soon as I realised (which played right into today’s playfulness theme hahaahaa).
This practice is a great reminder to not take everything to seriously and play around. I noticed I tend to want to do everything 'right': walking in the right way on the mat, doing it the right way from my center. But there isnt just a right way, there are lots of ways and I have my own way, my own path! Thank you Adriene and everybody practicing 🧡
I love how Benji sat through Adrienne's delightfully goofy intro song and then said, "yeah, I gotta go..." 😄 This practice was so much fun with just the right amount of challenge, especially since I have a touch of a cold that's dragging me down. Namaste, superstars!♥️

Wonderful morning everyone. Great job. My body feels like it can go on and on. I use to have lower back pain and since I started following Adriene for the past 7 months the pain is no longer there. With these practices my body is getting back into shape. I'm really proud of myself and my yoga family who have taken this journey and make their way to the yoga mat each day. I lead a creative therapy class yesterday called Play! 3 people signed up, but then no one showed up for the Zoom class. I was feeling very discouraged last night when I went to bed. But the synchronicity from today's theme gives me strength to stay the path of my dreams! Also, it was so nice to start the day with Adriene's goofy song, haha! Thank you again and again Adriene! Such a great reminder to play. Six years of yoga, a five day a week practice and my heels will never touch the ground. Such a humbling experience everyday, to remind myself to seek mindfulness and not perfection.
I wasn't feeling too well today, and I was dreading doing the second standing splits (I usually love them!), so I was thinking of not doing it. And then... we didn't do the second side! But... I did the same. I always struggled with the balance poses like that and tree pose but I always find one side slightly easier (or maybe stronger) than the other. So I went back and did the other side just to test it out.
Just caught up on 4 days of Center in a row 😪 I'm a shift worker and just finished 9 days on, it doesn't leave much time for yoga or anything else but I'm addicted to this practice! Thanks Adriene for inspiring me for many years now, planning to quit my job and complete my yoga teacher training in 2023!💗🧘♀

This has been my favourite 30 day yoga journey ever! I love the different themes of each day and I love how I always know how long each session will be :)
My little boy was loving today’s practice, climbing all over and around me as I moved in and out of these poses. It was fun to have his exuberance and spontaneity add another level of playfulness to my practice today. Plus it was exciting to see how well I could hold a plank with a four-year-old sitting on my back!
I have just started a new job and I have been sick so I am a few days behind. Thank you to Adrienne and the the YWA community for being here to come back to
When I saw today's title I got so happy! I'm going to a party today with my friends, so this practise was just perfect to hype myself up, because my introverted-self always needs some encouragement before going out. I'm still struggling a bit with the heel lifts in plank, and my mind must have been a bit distracted because I totally missed the missing standing splits, so off I go to do it now so I'm not unbalanced walking off the mat! 😉🙏

To those seeing this well after the thirty day journey has "officially" ended. Congradulations to where you are on your journey as well! I notice that the community is amazing about cheering each other on as we count through the days and that's amazing! It's certainly helped me be consistant. But know that your seen as well. Whether this journey takes you 30 or 100 days. Or you make this decision to stop and find something else that feels good. Smile, you're amazing and you've got this!

I liked the singing at the beginning. :D And I must admit that I love knocking on heaven's door and I was waiting for it. I can't imagine the "play" yoga practice without this move. ;)
Oh who doesn’t like to end the PLAY practice with a little knocking on heavens door? Woot, Woot love these quick 20 minutes classes Adriene , I always know I can get to the mat with the occasional 30 minute one thrown in, I will be doing this again and again. Namaste , hey come to think of it I would love to hear a little Namaste at the end of our session, I realize you have t said it for awhile, lol
I agree. These 20-min sessions are perfect. I always feel great afterwards -my mind feels clearer, and I feel great physically, but they're not too long to be daunting, and overly-time consuming.
These practices have such a low threshold being so accessible and just short enough to fit into your day, but also still challenge and energize you. I can definitely feel a difference after 19 days, am sometimes still a little sore, and even though the rest of my day mostly isn't so great I still accomplished something! And I'm proud of myself for it! I always feel better after the practice and love reading everyone's heartwarming comments afterwards!! Thank you Adriene (and Benji) for these series and your great teaching, your witty remarks, your room for personal adjustments and this loving community! 💛

I was going to say - I know I did this one before, but I couldn't find a comment of my run on it. It's because it was this year's 30 days! The asymmetry of this threw me off, but it definitely helped wake me up and make sure my mind was paying attention. Day 279 of the current run.
Life gets in the way and you forget how to be a kid and just play. Thank you Adrienne for this reminder. Defintely going to make it a habit to bring more and more joy and play into my life and not take life so seriously. I found myself really playing around. Sometimes not even paying attention to the video and just doing my own fun thing! Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

This is my third time through the Center series and I have yet to do this particular practice up to tempo. It works so much better for me at 75% speed. If you’re finding it difficult or not feeling stretchy enough or whatever, going more slowly may really help. Big thanks to Adriene for creating such wonderful practices and making them available to all of us! ❤️
Somehow, this journey is almost 2/3 of the way over. I didn't feel the best when I got onto the mat today. And now I feel fantastic. Keep showing up. Just keep showing up.
Thank you adriene, whenever I feel anxious or sad I just step on the mat, and your voice and humour comfort me so much. Also, everytime I say Namaste in the end I think of all the people around the world, practicing in different conditions at the same time as I am. Thats such a beautiful thought!

Thanks again Adriene! This yoga practice has made me stronger in mind and body!!! I have been inspired to cut down on my sugar consumption, for the next two weeks to start. Day 19 of Center and Day 6 of my trying to curb my sugar cravings. I started intermittent fasting and am trying to reduce carb/sugar foods. I have done it once before a few years back with great results but of late have fallen into bad eating patterns, eating for comfort, not moving enough, etc...,so I am excited to be looking forward and not dwelling on looking backwards. :):):) '60 and stronger'.

The idea of getting creative on and off the mat is very powerful! As an artist, being creative is my very essence. Thank you Adriene for bringing this idea into your videos! I also have been waiting for the "warming the hands up" move as I am usually cold in the mornings:) I also love knocking on Heaven's door. It's so freeing!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Ah, Center Day - 19 is to be adored. There's so much laughter 😃 in my heart ❤️ and it's Day - 20 of my 30 Day - food fast. There's a lot of mental clarity. I am being met with lots of negativity from someone who proclaims to love me, however, I digress and meet the energy with love. People are dealing with their own insecurities. Love is the key 🔑 💕 to unlock all bondages. Thank God for spiritual fasting and yoga! 🦋❤️❤️🦋

my 2023 did not start too good with so many painful personal events happening, and this yoga journey has been my anchor helping me rise up and carve some time for myself without the anxiety, though truth be told my mind would wander almost all the time especially when my day's been hectic, but the thought that thousands of people are doing this with me, is so comforting
Blessed Beloved Beauties! Wonder Day - 4 began on the official 4th day, however, it was completed on Day - 5 because I started at 11:59 P.M. I didn't make it to the mat on Day - 3 and my body ached because I didn't even stretch. This playful session was such a delight to return to after 10 - months the first time I experienced this practice. I was on a 30 - day fast and this month I'm mentally preparing myself for the first 30 - Day detox of 2025. Ah, this session was therapeutic and healing. Okay, that's enough babbling. Even though I gave up from many things, i didn't gave up from this yoga practices and i am here today again. I am proud of with myself and i am proud of with everyone who even though they feel tired from life sometimes and just want to let go of everything but they still continue. Rainbow is going to appear for all of us who always choose to give love and doesnt give up. I love everyone who chooses love or want to choose love. It's kinda odd to comment these sentences under the yoga practice video but i just wanted to share. Thank you for the video to everyone who prepared it
today was a good practice! after finishing every practice i take a moment after opening my eyes listening to the music at the end and i just take it all in it feels magical how everything in me is centered and connected it feels like everything becomes one. i genuinely love yoga bc without it i would’ve never felt this way💜
With my cat recovering from surgery this practice just let all those feelings of anxiety just fade away and she even came in say hello during downward facing dog ❤️ Thank you for this 🙏

Well I was certainly playful today! I don't know what possessed me but I noticed we didn't work on the standing split on our second leg. So during closing I was playing around with that. I came into this practice after a long day at work with several more to come tired and crabby. I now feel so much calmer and relaxed. Thank you Adriene. To everyone whos made it through so far congratulations.
Struggling to come to the matt today after a bad night’s sleep, I was already beating myself up for not doing some of the postures ‘right’ or needing a few breaths before following Adriene into downward dog. I was getting frustrated because I wasn’t feeling the calm that my morning practice normally gives me. Just when the negative self talk had completely taken over we went into Knocking on Heavens Door and boy did I need that today - just swooshing all those emotions out and getting back to my centre!! Thank you to Adrienne, Benji and this wonderful community for motivating me to keep showing up no matter what ❤️

This has been my favourite 30 day yoga journey ever! I love the different themes of each day and I love how I always know how long each session will be :)
My little boy was loving today’s practice, climbing all over and around me as I moved in and out of these poses. It was fun to have his exuberance and spontaneity add another level of playfulness to my practice today.
Plus it was exciting to see how well I could hold a plank with a four-year-old sitting on my back!

WONDER ❄ | December 4, 2023 | I can't believe it's been almost a year since we did Center! I'm still struggling a bit with the heel lifts in plank, and my mind must have been a bit distracted because I totally missed the missing standing splits, so off I go to do it now so I'm not unbalanced walking off the mat! 😉🙏

To those seeing this well after the thirty day journey has "officially" ended. Congradulations to where you are on your journey as well! I notice that the community is amazing about cheering each other on as we count through the days and that's amazing! It's certainly helped me be consistant. But know that your seen as well. Whether this journey takes you 30 or 100 days. Or you make this decision to stop and find something else that feels good. Smile, you're amazing and you've got this!

I liked the singing at the beginning. :D And I must admit that I love knocking on heaven's door and I was waiting for it. I can't imagine the "play" yoga practice without this move. ;)
Oh who doesn’t like to end the PLAY practice with a little knocking on heavens door? Woot, Woot love these quick 20 minutes classes Adriene , I always know I can get to the mat with the occasional 30 minute one thrown in, I will be doing this again and again. Namaste , hey come to think of it I would love to hear a little Namaste at the end of our session, I realize you have t said it for awhile, lol
I agree. These 20-min sessions are perfect. I always feel great afterwards -my mind feels clearer, and I feel great physically, but they're not too long to be daunting, and overly-time consuming.

These practices have such a low threshold being so accessible and just short enough to fit into your day, but also still challenge and energize you. I can definitely feel a difference after 19 days, am sometimes still a little sore, and even though the rest of my day mostly isn't so great I still accomplished something! And I'm proud of myself for it! I always feel better after the practice and love reading everyone's heartwarming comments afterwards!! Thank you Adriene (and Benji) for these series and your great teaching, your witty remarks, your room for personal adjustments and this loving community! 💛

I was going to say - I know I did this one before, but I couldn't find a comment of my run on it. It's because it was this year's 30 days! The asymmetry of this threw me off, but it definitely helped wake me up and make sure my mind was paying attention. Day 279 of the current run.

Life gets in the way and you forget how to be a kid and just play. Thank you Adrienne for this reminder. Defintely going to make it a habit to bring more and more joy and play into my life and not take life so seriously. I found myself really playing around. Sometimes not even paying attention to the video and just doing my own fun thing! Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

This is my third time through the Center series and I have yet to do this particular practice up to tempo. It works so much better for me at 75% speed. If you’re finding it difficult or not feeling stretchy enough or whatever, going more slowly may really help.

Thank you adriene, whenever I feel anxious or sad I just step on the mat, and your voice and humour comfort me so much. Also, everytime I say Namaste in the end I think of all the people around the world, practicing in different conditions at the same time as I am. Thats such a beautiful thought!

just wanted to say I am loving this series .. I got a late start .. I was sick the first of January.. I am on day 19 ... when I first started this year I was so stiff .. I am getting my flexibility back and feeling much better

Thanks again Adriene! This yoga practice has made me stronger in mind and body!!! I have been inspired to cut down on my sugar consumption, for the next two weeks to start. Day 19 of Center and Day 6 of my trying to curb my sugar cravings. I started intermittent fasting and am trying to reduce carb/sugar foods. I have done it once before a few years back with great results but of late have fallen into bad eating patterns, eating for comfort, not moving enough, etc...,so I am excited to be looking forward and not dwelling on looking backwards. :):):)

Morning from Finland! First time doing this right in the morning with 2.7K other people ✨ Funny to notice how in the morning one needs way more modifications. Maybe it's just being more in tune with one's body at that time of day?
I find this as well that I am less flexible in the mornings. I imagine that the joints are still creaky in the morning and need some lubrication....😂

The idea of getting creative on and off the mat is very powerful! As an artist, being creative is my very essence. Thank you Adriene for bringing this idea into your videos! I also have been waiting for the "warming the hands up" move as I am usually cold in the mornings:) I also love knocking on Heaven's door. It's so freeing!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Ah, Center Day - 19 is to be adored. There's so much laughter 😃 in my heart ❤️ and it's Day - 20 of my 30 Day - food fast. There's a lot of mental clarity. I am being met with lots of negativity from someone who proclaims to love me, however, I digress and meet the energy with love. People are dealing with their own insecurities. Love is the key 🔑 💕 to unlock all bondages. Thank God for spiritual fasting and yoga! 🦋❤️❤️🦋
Fir the first time in a week I have been able to practice in the morning rather than the evening, and so happy to have a fun practice to wake me up.

my 2023 did not start too good with so many painful personal events happening, and this yoga journey has been my anchor helping me rise up and carve some time for myself without the anxiety, though truth be told my mind would wander almost all the time especially when my day's been hectic, but the thought that thousands of people are doing this with me, is so comforting
I felt myself smiling through that. How wonderful. Fun, fun, FUN!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Wonder Day - 4 began on the official 4th day, however, it was completed on Day - 5 because I started at 11:59 P.M. I didn't make it to the mat on Day - 3 and my body ached because I didn't even stretch. This playful session was such a delight to return to after 10 - months the first time I experienced this practice. I was on a 30 - day fast and this month I'm mentally preparing myself for the first 30 - Day detox of 2025. Ah, this session was therapeutic and healing. Okay, that's enough babbling. I just missed the mat and my virtual yoga friends. Best wishes, 🤞🏿 everyone! 🦋❤🦋

Even though I gave up from many things, i didn't gave up from this yoga practices and i am here today again. I am proud of with myself and i am proud of with everyone who even though they feel tired from life sometimes and just want to let go of everything but they still continue. Rainbow is going to appear for all of us who always choose to give love and doesnt give up. I love everyone who chooses love or want to choose love. It's kinda odd to comment these sentences under the yoga practice video but i just wanted to share. Thank you for the video to everyone who prepared it
today was a good practice! after finishing every practice i take a moment after opening my eyes listening to the music at the end and i just take it all in it feels magical how everything in me is centered and connected it feels like everything becomes one. i genuinely love yoga bc without it i would’ve never felt this way💜
With my cat recovering from surgery this practice just let all those feelings of anxiety just fade away and she even came in say hello during downward facing dog ❤️ Thank you for this 🙏

Well I was certainly playful today! I don't know what possessed me but I noticed we didn't work on the standing split on our second leg. So during closing I was playing around with that. I came into this practice after a long day at work with several more to come tired and crabby. I now feel so much calmer and relaxed. Thank you Adriene. To everyone whos made it through so far congratulations.
Struggling to come to the matt today after a bad night’s sleep, I was already beating myself up for not doing some of the postures ‘right’ or needing a few breaths before following Adriene into downward dog. I was getting frustrated because I wasn’t feeling the calm that my morning practice normally gives me. Just when the negative self talk had completely taken over we went into Knocking on Heavens Door and boy did I need that today - just swooshing all those emotions out and getting back to my centre!! Thank you to Adrienne, Benji and this wonderful community for motivating me to keep showing up no matter what ❤️
