    I had it at the distillery. It was great. Home a week when the state did a drop of it. Grabbed a bottle. Nothing like what I had at the distillery. Friend grabbed 2 and cracked one at my place so we could compare. His is like what I had at the distillery. His has fruit jammy nose and fruity palate. Mine is spicy wood. No fruit, just bite. Our laser codes are close to each other and indicate they were bottled on the same date, just one a bit earlier/later than the other. Another friend's has a different code yet tastes like the good bottle.

    Love this review so much. It captures such a great image of where this falls flavor profile wise against the other RR products and even similar aged separate distillery profiles. Keep it up, as always, and cheers!

    Had to come back and say I enjoy your sophisticated palette, gives me a base to form my own opinion. Watched a couple of other RUclips videos on this bourbon, and they didn’t touch on only a couple flavor and taste notes that you revealed on this bourbon. I like your reviews as it gives me a baseline to form my own opinion. Thanks again for your great reviews. My son is stationed at Campbell and gave me a tour of Four Roses for my birthday. Was able to purchase my first barrel strength. Kept up the great work!

    Great review! Fantastic comparisons! My favorite turkey I’ve had so far is PoAC; it was 🔥!

      Great call - The POAC barrel I tried was great. More cherry and spice than this one but taaaasty.

    Great review and comparison! It's unfortunate in my area I will never see them at MSRP and just can't pay over MSRP. Great content and keep it up! Cheers!

    Sounds like an amazing release, not too surprising. The price point I think is actually good if you can find it at retail. I’d choose it over the WTMK 10yr rye which is more expensive. Cheers

    Great analysis as always! Have you tried the new Rye based Little Book release?

      I’ve not! I don’t usually go after the Little Books, but I heard it (or the release before) was good

      @abandonbourbon 4th guy in this morning. Love the review. My 13 iteration one is one of the bottles I'm trying to make last. At sub 100, it was in my top 10 from that year. Living in Chicagoland, it's getting harder and harder to get allocated unicorns and Campari getting ridiculous...

    I preferred RR13 (B5) over the RR15 this year. RR15 tastes like a watered down mistake fueled by marketing.

    • @abandonbourbon
      @abandonbourbon  2 месяца назад

      Interesting take - but I don’t see it as more marketed than any of the Wild Turkey labeled products like Masters Keep?

      @@abandonbourbon so how do you think the CNF would stand up against the 15?

    • @abandonbourbon
      @abandonbourbon  2 месяца назад +1

      @@RealMirchaI think it will come down to what flavor you want to highlight more - oakiness and dense fruit versus candy fruits and more balanced oak.
