Thanks for the great video - Purchased 2011 Window molding strips for all 4 doors ($35 from Ebay including shipping + tax). Correct, that corner nut is the most the Mirror difficult. Here's what worked for me (Didn't have to call the wife LOL) .... 1. TAKING THE 8mm NUT OFF ---- Placed small 2"x2" plastic bag, open at the top, under the difficult 8mm nut and secured the bag with Duct tape, sure enough the nut fell into the plastic bag and I was able to remove the bag and take out the 8mm nut. 2. PLACING THE 8mm NUT BACK ON ---- Placed small 2"x2" plastic bag under the difficult 8mm bolt, open at the top, and secured the bag with Duct tape. Cannot get my medium size finger into the area, so I placed 8mm nut onto small size flat screwdriver and move the nut about 1" from the flat tip. Now place the tip of the screwdriver onto the flat end onto mirror bolt and keeping it pressed there. Next slide the nut onto bolt and use pinky finger or pointed pick to rotate the nut to start threads onto the bolt. Remove the 2"x2" plastic bag and tighten 8mm with pliers or 8mm spanner.
Excellent video, sir. Just what I needed for my 08 ex-l. I have one of these "belts" with shredded rubber flapping in the wind, tried super gluing it down to the chrome to no avail. I did find the one thing that will not bond to super glue however.
Be careful with the eBay parts. I'm in the process of doing mine with eBay parts and the screw holes are not very easy to line up. You have to really fiddle with it.
Man! The dealership wanted to charge me $1,660.00 to replace this for all four windows!!! Thank you so so much for this video!
That’s crazy! I’m glad it helped

Is there a way to do the front without removing the side mirrors?
The chrome is under the mirror so it has to come off in order to get the old chrome out and put the new one in

Thanks , in my accord 2003 I have only one screw each side , am I missing something ???
Haim Green i don’t think so should have one on each end to hold secure to the door aside from that just a good pull upward
@@simplywordz I just checked again ,only one screw , I'm confused ,I'll look for more videos same year 2003 .
Okay, hope you find the answer
