There is no commentary on this run because this was an offline run.
This run was performed on the North American Wii U VC version of the game.
This run was pretty good. For most of the segments, I played extremely well. Unfortunately this run had some really bad luck throughout.
I lost 2 minutes to pure luck before and during the Ghost Ship, and both Jolene 2 and Bellum Ship lost me another minute thanks to luck.
But I'm pretty proud of this run. I played quite well for most of it so I'm happy.

its actually so fun to watch when you've played the game as a kid
yes this is my first zelda so it's nostalig to me too. And it's impessive the techniques uses( it ruins the time I stuggle in the dongeons) congrats!!

I never figured it out. I closed the ds in frustration. Looking back it was so easy but it was unheard of to break the 4th wall like that

I was worried that so few people play this game, that the speedrun would just be a casual playthrough done fast. But there were some cool skips in this run, like the Isle of Ruins cyclone skip! Too bad all the fun skips/glitches are like 2 hours in lol

@@HeadlessMaruderyou need to play it you get used to the graphics. Also it was ds, it was 2007 and the writing is so good. The whole game is 50 Mb it felt like 100 gb of content as a kid.
Yeah, fr tho, the only thing I didn't like was the temple of the ocean king because the entire dungeon revolved around a timer and required you to revisit the dungeon a few different times, each time longer than the last, although there were a few shortcuts scattered around which you could unlock using different items. Although make sure you save every 15 to 30 minutes, other than that, out of the 5 zeldas I've played, this is number 3 following botw and spirit tracks

In theory it would be possible, but I'm not sure any human would be capable of it right now. My Sum of Best segments is only at a 3:02:16, and while I don't have perfect segments or anything, that's still a fair distance to go, and even further to go for sub 3 to be realistically possible for a human. So for the moment, I think a 3:03 might be the human limit, maybe 3:02.
I think we'll probably need another big timesaver found before anyone can do it.

Perso j'étais resté bloqué vachement longtemps au dessin de la triforce sur la porte à 1:39:35, le dessin voulait juste pas apparaître
Je dessinais le bon truc mais pas de la manière que le jeu avait anticipé je pense, ce qui fait que le jeu validait pas 🤷♂

This was originally for the DS, but I played this on the Wii U Virtual Console version. Those are the only 2 versions of the game.
