Great video Dan 👍
I love Detroit Grooming Co, exclusively. You got me to try their butter as I was a balm man, so I now use and bought every DGC oil and butter and I am so impressed w/the 311 conditioner.
Just discovered you..started a beard after 30 years. (65)... Hair is still full and brown but bread is Grey black and white mix. 2 months into it. I love your videos, and you clean moral approach. Watched a few dirty mouthed guys. A big turn off. subscribed...I want mine to cover double chin from finally dropping 20 plus unwanted pounds. But don't want it quite as long as yours. My hair is fine and goes it's own way. Since on a tight budget. Going to Walmart for some Honest Amish products after watching your review... Thanks and keep up the good work...
Only have experience with a few of these companies, but 100% agree with Scotch Porter conditioner, DG butters, and LB oils. Thanks for the other recommendations sir.
Excellent! I was thinking about Ruddy Butter; happy you mentioned it. I've not had butters do well in a usually warm or hot climate. I thought I had a good stock of products, but a strongly-scented oil and balm I'd had for years went from great 2 days ago to smelling so bad last night I not only tossed them, I shampooed my beard with Castile Soap to squeaky clean to get the scent out! Now I have to re-examine my stockpile to see what is usable, and then get to using them up!
@@DanCBearded Indeed! I'm not very surprised the balm went off, but I was surprised about the oil. I suppose the essential oils went rancid. Trash hadn't been emptied, so I checked again. Balm was certainly bad but the "Bay Rum" scent was losing its battle with rancidity. As we've said before, The Nose knows!

Started using Belle Isle by Detroit Grooming Co., at night & felt like my beard rejuvenated over the course of a few days. Great recommendation Dan. Also purchased The Hero by Fable Co., and was truly impressed by the focus on customer satisfaction with the product quality, the card sealed with a wax stamp, and labeled artwork.
What??? No Nicholas Beard Works? This is by far my favorite company for beard oil and products. The quality of the amazing scents and of all the carrier oils used cannot be denied. The co-washes and hydrating beard butter are definitely worth checking out too!

Good stuff! I wrote down all your recommendations. Especially with oils because I want to try some new ones once my current supply runs out in the next couple of weeks. 100% agree with you on the Beard Octane and Detroit Grooming butters! Best in the game. I LOVE the "Corktown" scent from Detroit... Also love Detroit's "Black" beard wash, and the Scotch Porter conditioner is a definitely favorite as well.
I have been using gentlemen jack beard/face wash and I have been breaking out under my beard ever since. I'm going to try some of these products and hopefully they actually work 🙏🙏
Great video brotha!💯🔥🔥 I’m super stoked for the release of the Trusted Bastard! I love me some ginger🔥🔥💯💯🙌🏼🙌🏼. Hopefully I can grab one before the sell out lol. Very good picks tho bro I’ve used just about all of them and I’m in agreement with you!
Awesome line up Dan! I have to agree, Scotch Porter conditioner paired with the leave in conditioner is a game changer. Love the feel and most especially enjoy the scent. I think I may try out a couple of those butters you suggested. Thanks Dan 🤙
I never got the hang of using Scotch Porter Leave-In. Please tell me how you use it. Scotch Porter's support is incredible; they told me it could substitute for conditioner as co-wash, and that's what I'm expecting to do.
@@leosigman7239 hey Leo, I am actually using it tonight. I use it once every two weeks. Warm night time shower. Pine tar soap to strip away. I get out (no cold rinse), dry the beard just a bit so I'm not dripping wet. Apply a generous amount through out my beard (no oil first or anything else). Go to bed, and then normal morning routine the next morning
Awesome video. I also love the Detroit Grooming co beard oil and their Butter is just the best. Along with Husky beard's Akoni. Love it love it. And my 3rd favourite would be Artiusman beard oil. Love that Castor oil in it. Will try out Luxurious Bastard oils very soon.
I’ve tried some of the oil’s on the list and as always I have to agree great products omg the Scotch Porter conditioners amazing too! Anything you say about beard products I know are going to work so I just listen! I have some of the butters and oils and other beard products on my Christmas list so hopefully here soon I’ll be able to try more stuff on the list!
I see you my guy!! HuskyBeard’s is on the come up right now. I god damn LOVE their beard butter. (They call it beard cream) but I think they should rename the labels to butter. In my top 4 rotation. I took your advice & have been using Beard Octane’s oil lately & recently have bought some expensive oil from DGC lately too, haha. But Beard Octane’s oil somehow just also gives your beard volume like a butter would do, lovin it.
Dan C Bearded I really appreciate you my guy. Literally the best beard channel in the game on the Tube. You should have way more subscribers but you’ll get there.
Awesome video Dan C!! I've just got in my first order of oil and balm from Broke "donkey" Beards. I got the smoked vanilla and tonka bean and absolutely love it! I ha e a few things coming in from Fable tomorrow. I need to get some butter now and some more stuff that you have mentioned in this video
Big fan of the Detroit Grooming Butter. I use at Night. Got some Heroes and legends Project 51 Oil in your Giveaway and it’s amazing. Scent is fantastic.
Hey Dan, I just finished watching this video after the fact that I asked you if you've ever used the beard and body bars from Beard Octane in your live stream tonight with Mayor. Good call out in the stream on your part bro. Keep up the great reviews!
Great Video! Lots of great products to try. I wish i could just order them all at once...lol. The companies I have products from right now are: Chesapeake, Skully's, Detroit Grooming, Viking Revolution, Grave Before Shave, The Beardsmith, Honest Amish, Beard Guyz & Live Bearded. I have a Royal Beardsmans order on the way. Trying your Collab Series with them DanC as well as the "Crusader's" scent. Haven't found a product from one of these companies I didn't like! Products from Beard Octane & Fable Beard Co are the next to try.
Just got belle isle butter in the mail the other day. Can't wait to try it out. Also no mention of scotch porter beard wash? I also have to send a shout out to primal origins!!
I do like the scotch porter beard wash, and I use it, but it is not on the level with the other ones mention. I love primal, but they are really lacking in the scent department currently. To make the top 10, they need to solve that puzzle
@@DanCBearded now you tell me about the washes lol!! I enjoy primal because of the neanderthal oil. Scent is just natural oil. Quality oil without a scent is sometimes what I want lol.
I have quite a few different brands and products. Ginger jamboree is amazing btw. Hard to explain the almost carbonation feeling. My two companies I will stand by for amazingness, and will always go to beside occasionally trying other companies, are Luxurious bastard and Beard Octane. LWC downshift is amazing. Beard octane liquid gold is my favorite scent ever. Luxurious has the best and strongest scents, and best balms. Great vid Dan always. Have a Merry Christmas and keep growing that beard haha. Mines starting to really grow now finally.
Have to fill in that all beard octane stuff i tried keep the fragrance smell all day long at work (oil/balm). The butter is really strong in smell imo (only tried downshift sofar) but i love it (sleep like a baby).

I can tell you are passionate in what you do and I like that you jump right in to what the vid is about! Thanks and I will stay tuned for more info on great products. Currently I am using Honest Amish oil and balm for a (short to medium beard) they have been my go to for awhile now. Keep up the good work!
@@DanCBearded I'm actually going through some of your 2020 videos right now, and am glad I did! There was a HUGE change to your Conditioners list, with Scotch Porter being completely knocked off and Beard Octane taking over. Glad I caught that before preparing me next beard supply list. lol
I will consider your company options. Not much on the scent side since I'm on the complete opposite spectrum. I like strong complex scents, not much into fresh or citrus.
Super excited to bring THE TRUSTED BASTARD to the bearded community! Great video Dan, A lot of hard work went into making this video for sure. Everyone hit the thumbs up button. 2447 views...we need more thumbs up.....It does help Us content creators out.

Also any more updates on the company you have been working with and when the products will be released Lastly great that you leave the products and links in the top of vid What is the smell of the Chesapeake butter and is their an oil How often are using scotch porter conditioner And how many days for lcw
What about Paul Mitchell's leave in conditioner called "The Conditioner"? I've been using it and so far it's been amazing. My beard is so much softer since I started using it. Keep up the great videos and one day I hope to have a beard as nice as yours!
@@DanCBearded I just ordered the Detroit Belle Isle beard butter. Can't wait to get it and try it! Thanks for the quick response and for the great videos! There's so many companies out there and it's hard to know what or who to "grow with" Haha. Thanks for the directions on what to use.
hey Dan C Bearded, all of the names/companies listed above are not available here in Belgium (with exception of honest amish) or i have to pay A LOT of taxes for those products to ship them over.. BUT i have found several beard oils from a dutch company called "mijn baard" and i am interested what the opinion is (of a certain trusted teacher :p) on the ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (almond) oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil, Sesamum Indicum (sesame) seed oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) oil, Coco-caprylate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) seed oil, Opuntia Ficus-indica (Prickly Pear) seed oil, Nigella Sativa (black) seed oil, Parfum (scent), Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl... thanks in advance!
I can recommend another dutch brand that is even better than mijnbaard, mijnbaard gave me spots from daily use! Company is The Dutch Soapery the oil and balm are mind blowing for the price!
How do you feel about scotch porter now with the new packaging & formula? To me it doesn't feel the same as what came in the original tub/jar style container.

Just ordered Broke Ass number 13 to try it. Thanks for your videos!
Prepare to loveee! And I'm calling it, you will order many more
Just placed my first whiskey n hardtack order I’m excited I hear soooo much good about them. I also just recieved my first fable order n I absolutely love it. I even went ahead n ordered more and matching butter to what I already have
That's awesome Mick!
Another great video, just ordered my first Detroit Grooming co butter, and can not wait to use it.
That is awesome! You are going to love it
Kave beard products are the BEST!!!
I have never heard of them
I use the Scotch Porter and Cammand - co- wash by Chesapeake
Definitely the best conditioners I've tried.
Agreed, top 2! DGC coming in at a close 3rd
Video of the year!
🙏
Yesss to everything you said! 💯🔥
Great job Dan!!! I have been waiting on this video forever.
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed
Fantastic buddy!
Awesome line up Dan! I have to agree, Scotch Porter conditioner paired with the leave in conditioner is a game changer. Love the feel and most especially enjoy the scent. I think I may try out a couple of those butters you suggested. Thanks Dan 🤙
You're awesome Ray!
@@DanCBearded That would be your Morning Routine No Shower, as opposed to your Morning Routine After Shower?
@@leosigman7239 I would shower again in the morning and go about my normal morning routine
Very cool Bilal!
What an awesome comment, thank you Matthew!
I also gave them your discount codes to help out you and your channel!
@@matthewstockwell5526 🙏
Just received my order for Husky Beard Akoni beard oil. Wow! Great recommendation, thanks!
Awesome, I'm glad you are digging it!
Broke Ass #13 arrives today
I have given all of my best balms away after my beard measured 3" below my chin. But I do use uncle Donnies beard butter, it works for me.
Awesome!
Heck yeah Ryan! Your beard game is proper, no doubt about it!
Dan C Bearded I really appreciate you my guy. Literally the best beard channel in the game on the Tube. You should have way more subscribers but you’ll get there.
@@RyanMatson 🙏💯
Ryan Matson Right it’s easy for ppl to understand what it is if u call it butter instead of cream or something else. . .
I have started my lists thanks to you Dan C Bearded🎅
Awesome!
Excellent, Love Love Love the line up. Thank you Dan
Thanks brothas!
Man as usual awesome work. Thanks for the info
Thanks Mike!
That is awesome brotha!
Great video Dan C. A lot of things in this video I new to try.
Thanks Wayne!
Big fan of the Detroit Grooming Butter. I use at Night. Got some Heroes and legends Project 51 Oil in your Giveaway and it’s amazing. Scent is fantastic.
Super unique scent! Still trying to figure out if it is for me lol
I thought at first i wasn’t gonna like it. But it starts strong and it mellows out. And it kinda just sits in the background.
@@Irishtwinbeads282 I'm going to get it in beard soon!
Thanks Dan, always appreciate your input on products.
You're welcome!
Hey Dan, I just finished watching this video after the fact that I asked you if you've ever used the beard and body bars from Beard Octane in your live stream tonight with Mayor. Good call out in the stream on your part bro. Keep up the great reviews!
Thank you Jeremy!
Great video Dan, I have saved it and hope to try some of these products in 2020
Awesome brotha!
That's beautiful Bryan! Thank you for the comment. Sounds like an amazing collection!
I really like ruddy butter also. I used half my bottle n was sad to pass it on. But I like to help get companies name out there that I really like.
You are the man Mick!
I was so looking forward to this video! Great list brother!
Hey Javier, thank you for the comment man!! I hope you and the fam have a great holiday season. We have to connect again in early 2020!
@@mikeghost7788 cannot argue with that! It was on my best feel in beard video 👊 agreed
@@DanCBearded I can't find that video?
I love 1912 Bastard by Luxurious Bastard and The Saviour (by Fable Beard Co) oils! Top-shelf products 😎👍
Great companies!
Trusted teacher
👋🧔
I have quite a few different brands and products. Ginger jamboree is amazing btw. Hard to explain the almost carbonation feeling.
My two companies I will stand by for amazingness, and will always go to beside occasionally trying other companies, are Luxurious bastard and Beard Octane.
LWC downshift is amazing. Beard octane liquid gold is my favorite scent ever. Luxurious has the best and strongest scents, and best balms.
Great vid Dan always. Have a Merry Christmas and keep growing that beard haha. Mines starting to really grow now finally.
Two of the best companies without question!
Finally bought Beard Octanes LCW. Thanks teach and great lists
You're welcome!
Have to fill in that all beard octane stuff i tried keep the fragrance smell all day long at work (oil/balm). The butter is really strong in smell imo (only tried downshift sofar) but i love it (sleep like a baby).
Downshift is for sure one of the strongest scents and is soooo perfect for bed
just sub'D! I have watched multiple beard videos and I have to actually like the person giving the reveiws. I can tell you are passionate in what you do and I like that you jump right in to what the vid is about! Thanks and I will stay tuned for more info on great products. Currently I am using Honest Amish oil and balm for a (short to medium beard) they have been my go to for awhile now. Keep up the good work!
Hey Steven, thanks for the sub! Honest Amish is an orginal in the beard game and has been able to maintain amazing quality
I just went through this whole video and plan to be buying some of these soon! I'm curious if there are any updates for late into 2020 now. :)
I'm excited for the 2020 video also!
Cool! Let me know if you have any questions
Uncle Donnie’s Straight 🔥🔥! Oil, Balm, Butter! Game Over!
@@steveolee7324 💯💯💯
Thank you so much Dan C. I was trying to figure out what type of conditioner to go with or what would be the best one👊
You are welcome brotha!
Super excited to bring THE TRUSTED BASTARD to the bearded community! Great video Dan, A lot of hard work went into making this video for sure.
Everyone hit the thumbs up button. 2447 views...we need more thumbs up.....It does help Us content creators out.
Thank you Dave!
Great vid.
Also any more updates on the company you have been working with and when the products will be released
Lastly great that you leave the products and links in the top of vid
What is the smell of the Chesapeake butter and is their an oil
How often are using scotch porter conditioner
And how many days for lcw
1) no updates
2) lemon, lavender, peppermint. yes oil and butter
3) 2-3 times a week
4) 2-3 times a week
Dan C Bearded would love to see a new weekly routine update
Get Burke’s beard balm and oil on eBay!!
What about Paul Mitchell's leave in conditioner called "The Conditioner"? I've been using it and so far it's been amazing. My beard is so much softer since I started using it. Keep up the great videos and one day I hope to have a beard as nice as yours!
I have not tried that one, sorry brotha!
@@DanCBearded I just ordered the Detroit Belle Isle beard butter. Can't wait to get it and try it! Thanks for the quick response and for the great videos! There's so many companies out there and it's hard to know what or who to "grow with" Haha. Thanks for the directions on what to use.
Another awesome video Dan! What do you think of Grave before shaves wash and conditioner?
Solid product! I would say market average
I just ordered Akoni from Husky's beard company
Oh snap! prepare to love it!
hey Dan C Bearded, all of the names/companies listed above are not available here in Belgium (with exception of honest amish) or i have to pay A LOT of taxes for those products to ship them over.. BUT i have found several beard oils from a dutch company called "mijn baard" and i am interested what the opinion is (of a certain trusted teacher :p) on the ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (almond) oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil, Sesamum Indicum (sesame) seed oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) oil, Coco-caprylate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) seed oil, Opuntia Ficus-indica (Prickly Pear) seed oil, Nigella Sativa (black) seed oil, Parfum (scent), Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl... thanks in advance!
Hey brotha, I have never tried that product so it would be tough for me to say. Sorry!
I can recommend another dutch brand that is even better than mijnbaard, mijnbaard gave me spots from daily use! Company is The Dutch Soapery the oil and balm are mind blowing for the price!
Always a nice beard :-) Bravo :-)
Thanks!
Great video 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏
How do you feel about scotch porter now with the new packaging & formula? To me it doesn't feel the same as what came in the original tub/jar style container.
It is not near as good, unfortunately. Here is my video on it: ruclips.net/video/c5ZAYPODP_I/видео.html
Do you rub the beard octane bar on you Face or lather in your hands. Could be a cool vid to see a beard bar soap wash.
I rub it right on my beard
