Perfect Dave. In the morning, all the work will be done by the CAT Faries. 😅🤣 Awesome I have some big trucks and excavator too, but you really need a big layout for them. Happy Modelling Mon
Love your descriptions of the trucks. Really a Eurocentric experience :) The big nose trucks are called conventional trucks and can be with or with out a sleeper berth. The flat nose trucks are called cab overs and they can also have a sleeper berth in the back you access over the dog bone. I drove semi trucks for several years in the USA and managed to drive though every state in the lower 48 except Rhode Island. I pulled the dry vans and flat beds for several company's. Great job that I loved. The black truck looks like a Kenworth and the red truck looks like a Peterbilt. Really nice!
Wonder if the front of those trailers pull off . That is how they loaded large equipment . The back into the trailer to lift the load and go . I've got a cat and excavator in N scale . But no truck or trailer . Great gifts Dave . When you get up tomorrow all your dirt work should be done . 🙃
greatly enjoy following your channel, trucks are blue cat ct660, black kenworth t880s, red peterbilt 579, never dealt with cat,but usednto deliver petes/kenworths. keep vids coming
I find a pair of scissors cuts the boxes open easily. Nice models. The blue truck is a Cat day cab(no sleeper compartment), the black truck is a Kenworth, and the red one is a Peterbuilt. They are all what we call over here in Australia "gumboots" as they are in the shape of a gumboot. In contrast, a cab over is just that (what you mostly see in the UK due to length)... also the dozer is transported blade first as it is a wide load and the excavators are loaded forward then the boom is turned around to face rearwards for transport. With excavators the numbers on the side usually tell you what they are.. as in 355L 35.5 Ton operating weight and it is an L series. I used to transport oversize equipment all over Australia.
Very nice! They look great! Not gonna lie, I kinda forgot I sent those haha. They'll make a great addition to the layout. Can't wait to see what they build overnight
I use clear plastic pieces like those as glazing for cabooses, passenger coaches that are unglazed, and for glazing some of the older diesel locomotives like Tyco F and E units, though I must admit that trying to glaze the front windscreens on those things is a pain.
Little Toys for Bigger Boys ! 🤣. I’m so jealous! I’m gotta get me some of those 😊.
Great addition to the layout and happy Canida Day. Jersey Bill
Great Trucks very cool.
awesome gifts dave
I bought 3 of these sets, great add ons for my rock quarry area.
Very nice
An rc version would be a great thing for them to make

The black truck is a Kenworth. I believe the red one is a Peterbilt.
Yes Cat did build Trucks there are a few here in New Zealand
Nice trucks, Dave. Cat did make their own highway trucks for roughly 5 years, from 2011 to 2016.
Check proof
The Red looks like a 2019 Kenworth conventual cab series

My friend uses a dab of silicone to hold tractors and other equipment on his trailers

I got a cat bulldozer which I mounted on a flat car

Apparently the ground was too soggy and they need to wait a few weeks.
I had one of the blue cat trucks i turned it into a cat fire truck

Yes, I've done a couple of F unit windows. Very tricky, and not a lot of overlap for the glue.
very nice

realism tip: dozers face forward, excavators face rear when transporting
Cat does build trucks
Try scissors next time but don't run with them. CAT does make their own trucks.
Really nice truck where did you find em on Amazon web
Here's a link. The others should appear at the botton... amzn.to/4eMmCyG
