@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum I've never seen him in person but he's more than awesome in videos! Thanks for sharing & please keep sharing! Good night & God bless!
I love Bob Seger! I also love Kid Rock! Kid Rock is extremely talented and has nailed every Bob Seger song I've heard him sing. The only thing close to a Bob Seger concert is a Kid Rock concert where he graciously throws in a classic or two from Bob Seger, Rod Stewart, The Eagles or Marshall Tucker!! He puts on an exceptional concert. Rock on Bobby!!🤘🇺🇲💯
Can't even tell you how many times seen Kid Rock live and he's ALWAYS great! Lot of fun and he's got more talent in his little finger than most of these so-called pop stars have in their whole body! Like him or not, he's as genuine as you can get as far as talent and just being a good human being!
I have to agree. I've seen him several times myself & always a great show with lots of energy. He's interactive with his audience & never fails to give 100% on his performance. People can say what they want about him, but I've always loved every performance I've seen
Tomholm, thank you for your continued support of the channel… your kind words would mean so much to my dad, Joe, and does to me too. Hope you can visit the museum sometime. All the best, Britt
Rest in peace, Kimmy Johnson, sadly, we are down to only one SWAMPER. FATHER TIME IS A ruthless son of a gun. Hang in there , Legendary bassist David Hood. The Shoals Loves you!
jeez, is that Forrest McDonald on guitar?!? Outstanding job by everyone but especially you, Joe. These guys are ALL of our heroes, but somebody had to step up and preserve this stuff for future generations who, from the look and sound of current affairs, will not have real music made in their lifetimes.
Thanks Ed…. Yes it was a special evening. To be honest I wasn’t sure which Kid Rock I would get that night but he was perfect. Very helpful off stage as well as a great performer and true gentleman. Best, Joe
When are we going to see an interview of Joe Chambers? HIs background, what drove him to create the Musicians Hall of Fame etc I'd enjoy that story, cheers Joe!
Thanks for watching and the nice comments. There are some interviews with me on the internet… one is with NAMM. One is with “the Sessions” with Joe Chambers. I also did a series of Q&A on our RUclips channel where I answer questions sent in by viewers that covers your question in depth. Thanks again for the very generous words…… best, Joe
Love y'all Swampers Kid Rock sounds better But needs to do his music not the nasty vulgar songs but Kid Rock songing clean ❤ He sounds the best I've ever hear here Must be the Lady in the water...😊❤
It may be just me, but why do I get a feeling of authenticity with this performance by Kid Rock that I didn't have when Bob Seger did it? Was it the backing group? or what??.
I never paid much attention to Kid Rock’s music until he did the song (Picture) with Cheryl Crow. I was thinking I missed out, he is really talented. Though, I still probably won’t listen to him much. Rock and Roll gets a little loud for me. Even as a teenager, I preferred the more mellow music (except when roller skating [dating myself]).
He has always given credit to Bob Seger & mentions what a huge influence his music provided for him. I think I like Kid's version a little better. Kinda like a makeover for a classic.
Jeff.. thanks for watching… the musicians on stage were mostly the session musicians who were available and actually played on the original recording at Muscle Shoals Sound studio. There are still plenty of great young musicians out there if radio will play music that features the musicians again in my opinion. Best, Joe
Raised on Seger by my Dad! Makes sense Kid would adopt this Song, two phenomenal talents. Kid nailed it!
Segar should definitely go down in history as one of the greats!!
Kid Rock did a great job on this song, I know he did everyone proud!
He was great Lavena… on stage and off… lots of fun…. Best, Joe

Love to watch and listen to Will McFarlane’s guitar.
Love the swampers. Kid rock not so much lol. Love to see Jimmy Johnson up there jammin. Awesome guy
That's what I thought at first, but then he became a patriotic, REAL AMERICAN, NOT like 2 thirds of the current inhabitants.
Thanks, Cory. Jimmy loved every minute always. Kid Rock, Will and Jimmy were at their best that night.
Yes brazil
São Paulo brazil yes
Rock and roll brazil Campinas sp yes
It may be just me, but why do I get a feeling of authenticity with this performance by Kid Rock that I didn't have when Bob Seger did it? Was it the backing group? or what??.
How are people just sitting there? 🤷♀️
Didn’t see all of Swampers
William… Barry Beckett was there but unable to play. Roger Hawkins was unable to play also. Thanks for watching……Joe

There’s video of him performing at an event to honour singers, maybe the Kennedy Centre? He was fantastic.
He has always given credit to Bob Seger & mentions what a huge influence his music provided for him. I think I like Kid's version a little better. Kinda like a makeover for a classic.
Lead vocals 9.5/10,,,,,backup vocals 8/10,,,,,,band backing 7/10
just something missing from the mix. dunno if it was how it was mixed or not.
Will McFarlane on lead guitar.
That’s right Nick……. Joe
@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum Great player
The band: 9/10
The singer: 2/10
It dawned on me that the band is a bunch of old guys because there are no young guys that can play.
