If during/after pregnancy my partner would be pushing me to get fit, it could cause an ED relapse especially with the lack of sleep, recovery, hormonal changes… a good man would support his woman unconditionally not add pressure. It would be a huge red flag for me!

I only discovered your channel a few days ago and I've never agreed so much with any LIB RUclips commenters before! But my one thing is, Chelsea did tell Jimmy that she's been cheated on before, yet shortly after he still said that AD is stacked to her face. Even without Chelsea noting her previous experiences, who says that to someone that their in a new relationship with (yet alone engagement)? It's one thing if they had a healthy foundation or that they knew how each other talked by that point, but with it all so new and with Chelsea saying her past experiences I do still think Jimmy is wrong here.
Really love your perspective on this show in general even when I disagree 😅. I love the way you see/understand/interpret situations. You give people credit unless they really disappoint you by their actions and that’s very commendable.
I’m no Jimmy fan, but honestly I feel like he wasn’t bad on this one. He’s super social and kind of awkward, and that’s interacting badly with Chelsea’s insecurities. His big issue here was that he was incredibly vocal about his need for verbal affirmation and when she expresses the same (albeit not quite as explicitly), he is unable or unwilling to fulfill that for her.

I agree Jimmy is irredeemable. I think our defense of him was that the situation was complex and she had preexisting background that he didnt personally do. I think we did cut some content where we also thought she was detecting his BS and he seems to be doing some overplaying to compensate for his own doubt. That JP comparison is pretty good. So, I have this uncanny ability to see who someone is within minutes of meeting them, and in this case, with this season, so far, I've been right about them all. So here is my perspective on each of them: Laura: Narcissist Chelsea: Insecure and relationship nervous. She's been fucked over so many times that she no longer trusts her gut. Jimmy (as per editing) hasn't done anything to make her feel secure. If he could figure out what she needs to feel secure, I bet she wouldn't ever be insecure again (my husband did it with me so I know it's possible) Jimmy: Jimmy gets a lot of hate but, honestly, I think he's the best one there. He's never had a serious long-term relationship and knows he needs to be honest in his feelings but doesn't know how (evidenced by how long it took him to tell Chelsea about the Megan Fox thing). But I genuinely feel like Jimmy WANTS to be good. He seems to be putting all his past experiences on the back burner and using them as learning lessons from his previous failed relationships (like apologizing- I bet in other relationships, he refused to be the one to apologize) . He genuinely wants to fo right but Chelsea but he is very emotionally immature and doesn't know HOW. Kenneth: He surprised me, to be honest, but in some of the things he's said, he is very emotionally mature and has clearly done some therapy in the realm of relationships. I think he was looking for an out bc he realized he's not attracted to white women but a lot of what he said was "right" - he can't force a relationship and he has been showing her who he is - not super emotional, introverted...he never tried to be anything other than who he is. No matter what he did though, it wouldn't have worked out because they are too different. Jeremy: Selfish, immature, sales man. That's what he is - he's a salesman and only cares about how people perceive him. He checked out when he realized how much Laura sucks Matt - right away, from the whole "I can't show my emotions" thing - narcissist. And that's not a word I use lightly - I was raised by a narcissist. Britney: cute as a button but very submissive and forgiving. Likely never to put herself first in a relationship. Was raised to be a southern bell. Clay: sensitive and traumatized. He's so fucked up from his relationship with his dad that he doesn't understand (but is trying) to figure out what it means to be a GOOD man, without discounting himself. AD: Strong, smart, emotionally mature to a certain extent. She has clearly been through the wringer with men - she even said her relationship with her dad is messed up. But she is not emotionally mature enough to recognize that she is VERY VERY easily manipulated. She so badly wants to be appreciated by a man so she gravitates to those with narcissistic traits because they can woo her. And she eats it right up. She is a MAJOR people pleaser and isn't able to differentiate between being appreciated and being disrespected. She is a peace keeper who tries to hold her own but is too easily swayed by others emotions (another indication that her relationship with her dad was likely a power struggle type of thing) I haven't seen enough of Amy and Johnny to have an opinion as they are very heavily edited and are pretty bland. Johnny clearly has some control issues and is TERRIFIED of having kids while Amy pretends she wants to wait but she doesn't. At all. For what's its worth, thats my perspective.

I played the originals as 2 and 3 dropped, and I have Andromeda on steam but never started it up. I didnt realize the Legendary is remastered. Does it update #1 well or does that one still kinda feel dated?
@@membriash they did alittle in one. You can now take cover like in 2. Couldve used more polish but thats my thought. I still recommend it, all dlc content is on the one disc for all 3 games so you're getting eveeerything :)

I think sometimes they stay to get a bigger check or something, but I hope people like AD jumps ship and doesn’t marry a guy like Clay. Dark black women are often fetishized, but also not respected, so what happens is we attract predatory men who feel that they won't receive any consequences. (and they are usually right). Not saying that happened here -- actually Jeramy's reaction was impressive, but yeah, dark and pretty isn't always fun.
I think everyone is allowed to have 1 or 2 deal breakers in a relationship...Women for instance always say height is major factor for them with the vast majority of women refusing to date a man under a certain height. We just accept that as a society but why is that when a man has a weight deal breaker, its something he gets attacked for? I'm all for people finding love at any size but if thats his deal breaker he should be allowed to have it.
My opinions: 1. I think people can have deal breakers for any reason, it is their right of consenting to a relationship. It doesnt make it less shitty as youve identified that the height thing is kinda shitty. 2. Height is generally unchangeable after puberty, and even then its mostly genetic. Weight is changeable and can fluctuate, meaning if you get into a relationship thin, and are dating someone with size expectations, it can cause an unhealthy obsession or fear in the individual whose constantly afraid of when the shoe is gonna drop if they gain weight. 3. Regardless of points 1 and 2, Clay is displaying controlling behavior. Hes not saying, I wont date you if you get fat. Hes saying I wont let you get fat. Its hard to say how he would act if it came down to it, but he has no right to control her behaviors like that, and he cant just assign himself to be her trainer without her asking for that. She in fact rejects the notion. This third point is the biggest issue I have with Clay and his behavior here. Marriage vows typically include in sickness and health, til death yada yada. He shouldnt be getting married if his vows include “you better not get fat” and if he feels that way he should say that at the altar. Its a marriage show

So far, unless youre right about AD stirring shit, I stand by supporting her with what we’ve seen. As far as her f-boy tendencies, I feel like you can only be objectified and hounded so much before it clouds your vision and gives you a bad picker. It clearly happens a lot for her. It seems like she really tried to and wanted to break out of her mold with Matt, but got burned by a serious weirdo. The funniest thing to me is that 20 to 30 years ago, AD's body would be considered too thick. @@membriash I could relate. No one believes us, which makes it worse. Dark black women are often fetishized, but also not respected, so what happens is we attract predatory men who feel that they won't receive any consequences. (and they are usually right). Not saying that happened here -- actually Jeramy's reaction was impressive, but yeah, dark and pretty isn't always fun.

I think everyone is allowed to have 1 or 2 deal breakers in a relationship...Women for instance always say height is major factor for them with the vast majority of women refusing to date a man under a certain height. We just accept that as a society but why is that when a man has a weight deal breaker, its something he gets attacked for? I'm all for people finding love at any size but if thats his deal breaker he should be allowed to have it.
My opinions: 1. I think people can have deal breakers for any reason, it is their right of consenting to a relationship. It doesnt make it less shitty as youve identified that the height thing is kinda shitty. 2. Height is generally unchangeable after puberty, and even then its mostly genetic. Weight is changeable and can fluctuate, meaning if you get into a relationship thin, and are dating someone with size expectations, it can cause an unhealthy obsession or fear in the individual whose constantly afraid of when the shoe is gonna drop if they gain weight. 3. Regardless of points 1 and 2, Clay is displaying controlling behavior. Hes not saying, I wont date you if you get fat. Hes saying I wont let you get fat. Its hard to say how he would act if it came down to it, but he has no right to control her behaviors like that, and he cant just assign himself to be her trainer without her asking for that. She in fact rejects the notion. This third point is the biggest issue I have with Clay and his behavior here. Marriage vows typically include in sickness and health, til death yada yada. He shouldnt be getting married if his vows include “you better not get fat” and if he feels that way he should say that at the altar. Its a marriage show

Your unbridled love for AD is so weird. "She's so strong." What?! By her own admission she goes for the f-boys. She went for the two worst men that we were shown (Matt and Clay). You guys are going to be so disappointed.
So far, unless youre right about AD stirring shit, I stand by supporting her with what we’ve seen. As far as her f-boy tendencies, I feel like you can only be objectified and hounded so much before it clouds your vision and gives you a bad picker. It clearly happens a lot for her. It seems like she really tried to and wanted to break out of her mold with Matt, but got burned by a serious weirdo. If she chose to stay with Clay in the end I would seriously question her judgement but as it stands I think shes good at knowing when the cameras are on and is just seeing it through till the end of the show without coming off bad. And as other commenters have said, shes been violated repeatedly but never loses her cool. I dunno, maybe someone else would walk from the show and thatd be the truly best move but this is all way above my paygrade in complexity and nuance
The funniest thing to me is that 20 to 30 years ago, AD's body would be considered too thick. Even now, it's not perfect (thick legs and knees) and I really don't get why everyone thinks she's so hot. Her eyelashes are horrible. Also, she was not being supportive to Kenneth. She was planting a seed of doubt about his relationship with Brittney. I think she's a covert trouble maker.
