Debi could not have chosen a better ambassador for her products!!! Not only are your pieces beautiful, but you make everything look so simple!!
I’m green with envy over those candles…but ohhhhh my, the book ends!!!!! 😱❤️😱
Awww thank you Chrissy! You are too sweet! 🥰🥰🥰
I love, love, love green glass. From what I am seeing, green is THE color of the year.
I agree! Green is looking so good too!
I received that exact green pitcher and glassware set as a wedding gift in 1974! I do not remember what happened to them (I'm pretty sure that several got broken over the years), but seeing your set brought back memories. Loved the DIYs in this video.
The pitcher and green glasses are antiques. My mother had this very set and I am 72 years old. She had this set when I was teenager.
Wow! That is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found that set!
I always appreciate real, fails and remakes are so satisfying! Blessed and safe days!
Nelson looks like my hubby when I take him thrifting! 😂 I've said it before but I LOVE how you and Nelson work as a team. Yes, girl! I love this opportunity for you. Congrats!!! Your "fail" turned into something fantastic. I love how your mind works, Yami! BUT!!! The bookends have to be my fav. They look like something from Pottery Barn that would cost at least $100. Can't wait for the Look For Less Challenge!!!
LOL!!! Too funny! So glad you liked the book ends. I love how they turned out. And I can’t wait to see what you make for the L4L! 🙌🏼🥰
These bookends are totally traditional upscale bookends! I think these were my favorite. It's extremely hard to choose but really appreciate the wax and decrepit dust. Everything you do is golden. This year you are really coming into your own! So glad I found your channel.
Thank you so much Vicki! 🥰
This is one of the BEST videos I've seen in months. Thanks for making high-end DIYs.
Oh I remember those glasses. $15. I’m live in South Carolina. I actually love how the silver plates turned out. Love every craft you did. You have such wonderful taste in decor.
Where is that shop? I live in South Carolina also and would love to so to that shop.
I'm new to your channel...and I love how you take time to do the small "Finishing Touches" to your pieces to make them look more professional/high-end. To me, that's the difference between "craft" & "art". You have such a soft/pleasant voice...you are easy to listen to and easy to follow. Looks like you were able to turn your SC finds into true treasures! TFS :D
That picture and glasses set is probably from the late 70's. Truly beautiful! My mom had the set but in like a very light brown. Loved all your projects here. Beautiful!
OH MY YAMI 😲 This was by far my most favorite video of yours 💯 I absolutely love when you do thrift flips and now you are a DIY retailer 🎉 I mostly use DIY paint 🎨 Your projects today came out stunning 😍 There is no way I can pick a favorite! I am so excited to see exactly what you do with all the DIY products 😁❤
Love the candlesticks! I think those glass pieces are called “bell jars”. They are either used for cloches or for earlier planting, faster germination, frost protection, etc. They create a mini greenhouse effect when placed over plants.
Love Debbie & her DIY paint by the way, I've used it and can attest that it's fantastic! I recognize 'the husband shuffle' a little dance my hubby also does whenever I drag him along shopping 😂. To make your tiered stand, I think it might help to drill a hole in the center of each plate & then screw the plates onto wooden dowels. This way it would remain sturdy & secure.
Ahhhh! The candlesticks were my FAVORITE! But those bookends were AMAZING! The techniques you do with the paint make such a difference. It makes things go from beautiful to giving that high-end look. Thank you so much for sharing your creative mind with us...you’re the best!!!
The bookends are gorgeous!! I would never have thought to slice the banister in half! Love your work!!💕
I am a big fan of DIY! Love watching Debbie too!
My mom had the same exact pitcher and glasses back in the early seventies! It’s so pretty then and now! Like your projects! Good job!
Wonderful DIY'S! My favorite were the candleholders they came out beautifully. My mom had that pitcher and glasses when we were young except it was gold😊.Blessings ❤
Love the DIY paint technique on the candlesticks and book ends.
Would like to see this technique used on a set of farmhouse lamps.
Love your projects !! The pitcher & glasses remind me of my childhood. My Grandmother had this set in Amber. Great find !
I liked all the thrifts you done. But I loved #4- the color of the pitcher and glasses- just beautiful. Looks like they were made for your dining room! Also, #3 loved that one too
I grew up with that pitcher and glasses! Mom made iced tea for that pitcher.
The bookends are so stylish. I remember when the pitcher and glasses from way back when. I love ball pitchers.
Those banister diys are fantastic. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the pieces. 😀 they were all amazing. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.
Those chess piece bookends are my favorite craft project I’ve seen in months! I’m going to keep my eye out for a nice balustrade from an old banister like you found. ;-)
First off I love watching you create!❤️ second those glass pieces you had but didn’t know what they were… I use to have some, they are outside candle cups that would fit in a metal ring that was attached to a metal stake. I would place them all over my yard and in my flower gardens.❤️
Hi Yami! I'm so glad you are going to be a DIY retailer. I love Debi and I love her paint. Your makeovers just blow me away. They are so amazing.
My favorite was the candle holders and then the bookends. Love the pitcher and glasses. Green is my favorite color.
Loved the bookends so stinking clever I am so into splashes of green pieces in my china cabinet I've added glassware and greenery eventually I want to do green curtains. You are so inspiring to me Yami
Thank you Kathy! Green is definitely becoming a favorite accent color of mine 🥰
Kathy, so true green adds so much warmth!
Best wishes for your new retail endeavor!! Moss/sage/olive greens are my decor go to colors. I am appreciating seeing this in your current projects. Your DIY’s are consistently high end looking! That increases the inspiration value. Thank you, Yami!
Thank you so much!
I love DIY paint!!!! Your green candle sticks are my favorite application. So glad you'll be selling it! Thank you for sharing your creativity.
While tiered trays are beautiful to decorate with I like your wall hanging so much more. All of your thrift makeovers were great 👍
Thank you! I really appreciate that! 🥰
I've been thinking about trying some of those products and it's nice to know that I can purchase them from someone I actually enjoy watching.
We had that green pitcher and glasses when I was very young also that green chip and dip bowl you see all over.
Oooooh! What are miter sheers? I must get some💕. Yami we are so excited to have you on the DIY team! Love the projects, The book ends are stunning!!!!!
Everything is absolutely gorgeous!! Those bookends looked like alabaster through the screen. Everything is so upscale and high end looking!!! BRAVA!!!
Aw thank you so much! So glad you liked them 🥰
The candle sticks and bookends are absolutely beautiful. The picture and glasses are a wonderful score.
I remember the green glassware from the 60s. The glasses were easy to hold.
The bookends and the candlesticks were my favorite redo. So pretty!!

Thank you Christine 🥰🥰🥰
My favorite is the candle sticks
Beautiful projects and your videos are a delight to watch and learn from. GREETINGS FROM TORONTO.
Love the green glass set. I have them in gold and 4 in blue. No pitcher. They are great when you have arthritic hands.
I just wanted to let you know to keep an eye out for juice glasses that goes with that green picture and glass set that you had. My grandmother have the same glasses and to this day there's 1 or 2 still floating around enjoy them!
Glad you visited South Carolina……My home state! Love all your cute projects especially the candlesticks!
The bookends and the candle sticks are BEAUTIFUL!!
I love the candle holders and they are great without a candle. The bookends are beautiful as well.
Hiiii...the first project with the banister and those glass cloches were total perfection!!! Loved them!! And love the book ends!!!
Also nice job on the wall piece with those 3 silver plates it turned out fantastic
Thank you for sharing to talent with us
Love all of these! We had that green pitcher & glasses when I was growing up. Thanks for the memory!!! ❤️
Love the pitcher and glasses. I think those are from the 70's. My mom had amber glasses like that.
The bookends made of balusters are fantastic!
OMGosh where to start ☺️, my 2 absolute faves are the candlesticks & the bookends 🥰🥰🥰. You’ve quite the creative mind 1st & you’ve a hubby that has the tools to help you with 2nd. I’ve been following you about a year now & honestly you don’t disappoint; your wonderful imagination inspires me to either copy some of your creations or try stepping out of the box w/my own ideas. I’m happy I came upon your channel. Continued success, I look forward to more fun videos. God bless you & your family 🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️
As always, I love your ideas! As you put together the candle “ sticks” and used all the antiquing methods on them-I wondered if there is some kind of spray or translucent paint you could put on the glass cloches to make them look as old as the candlesticks. They look so shiny and bright- possibly overshadowing the base! You have such original and unique uses for thrifted items- thank you for sharing!
Lovely knowledge video thank you for sharing 💕
Great projects. Love the decrepit powder and the looks on all of the pieces, so pretty 😁❤️
Everything was SUPER NICE…as usual. My fav were the bookends.
Can’t say which is my favorite as they ALL are beautiful!! You’re so talented and I love watching your videos!!
Excited that you’re teaming up with DIY paints as I love them!! I have a local shop & I really like to support local but it’ll be FUN to recreate your projects myself.
I love all of your makeovers... on this diy tutorials I absolutely love the ones where you use the wooden " dowels, rods, ballasts, or whatever"... and the pitcher and glasses are fabulous 👌... one thing you might would like to try for the tired plate stand could be using e-6000 around the perimeter of the divider pieces with a dollop of hot glue in the center of the glue circle... the e-6000 will provide a more permanent bond while the hot glue will give it a quick stick while the e-6000 sets...
I love the candlesticks. They are amazing but the bookends are also beautiful
Love these videos. It’s always great to see you get stuff from the thrift store since most everybody has the first store near them or a Goodwill so it’s awesome I love all your projects so creative keep them coming
Hope SC was good to you. Thanks for the memories of sharing the pitcher. I could taste my Aunt's yummy sweet tea. She passed Jan 19 2005 and it was like having a little visit from her.
I absolutely love this painting technique and it definitely looks easier than chalk paint and sanding and repeat for the worn or distressed look. I already went to your link and placed my DIY paint order😊 thank you so much
Yay! How exciting!!! Thank you!
I don’t even like green but I’m loving this one those candle sticks are gorgeous you have rocks those girl tyfs hugs and prayers
Thanks Kathy!
I was gifted some of my aunt’s green glass wear a I love it. Great to decorate with and enjoy. Yours are very pretty.
Love the book ends, the plates are gorgeous.the wreath makes it pop,and I love it. I’m loving the candle sticks, they turned out so perfect. Great job! As always.!! Ty. 🥰❤️
My aunt had (may still have) that green pitcher and glass set. I remember it from my childhood, so it's from the late 60s/early 70s. You got a BARGAIN!
My favorite were the bookends so beautiful but the others were amazing as well!
I love all of them, but the book end are beautiful. Looking forward to the look for less challenge. Thanks for sharing all these amazing diys.
The candle sticks and the book ends were fabulous.
Wow! I had that exact pitcher and glasses growing up at home. I really appreciated your "switch to something else" when your original plan didn't work. Thanks for sharing.
I have the same glasses that I inherited from my mother in-law. I love them and they are nice to hold, easy to grip. Believe they are depression glass. Hope you enjoy them too.
I think I like the bookends best. Primarily because they went from wood, to paint, to waxed paint, to looking like stone as you said. One would never know that they had been made from different bits of wood and half a baluster top. I love them. But I love your anyway. It is always hard to find a favorite.
Love the pitcher & glasses. The glass closhe candle sticks.
Yami, I just love all your diys. They are all so beautiful. You made them look like if you bought them. Thanks for always sharing your creativity. Have a blessed week, Adios! ❤️
The candle sticks are absolutely gorgeous! Love the color! The bookends are so stunning! I love the pitcher and glasses are beautiful!💕😊
My family had that exact pitcher and glasses in the late 60s and early 70s. Ours was in amber. I love what you did with the silver plates and candlesticks......good stuff!
That’s so awesome! I’m so happy I was able to find something so precious. 🥰
My grandmother had that same set of glasses and pitcher but in amber! Oh! It brought back so many memories of summer days on her patio sipping sweet lemon tea!! 🥲🥰
Oh I love that! I can’t wait to make memories with mine 🥰
Love them all
My mother had that green pitcher and glasses when we were children
Wow - those bookends!❤
The hanging plates, could have a Christmas scene, all around the center of the plate, decoupage
Those candlesticks are amazing! Crazy how you can take different materials, glue them together & then making something completely new that looks like it always was that way. Those book ends were incredible! Congrats on your partnership!!
Thank you so much Kristine! 🥰
The bookends are fabulous
My favorite was those beautiful Gypsy Green candles. That is one color I don't have but will be purchasing soon. And the white decrepit dust. I have the white wax but that dust makes such a big difference
Love the bookends!
