If your budget allows in the near future a treadmill with side handles might be a better option for Craig. He will be able to feel more secure and could go faster and get a better workout if he isn’t scared of falling. And on some treadmills with handles you can prop a tablet/iPad on them so he could watch a show while walking making the exercise time pass quicker and be more fun for him 😊

Craig on that treadmill was totally me when I get that same treadmill.... It just feels so weird without the handles to hold on to...... I've had the treadmill for about 2 months now and I still walk on it weirdly with anxiety of that I'm going to fall off... Hopefully I get used to it overtime
Any way to purchase some handlebars that could be placed over the treadmill?
I thought the same thing. I would need the handles just in case I get wobbly!

If you can wait til July, the world's largest truck stop has a truck show the 13th through the 15th, where they bring out all the fancy custom trucks and if you stay til it gets dark they look cool when they are all lit up and they will have food vendors and fireworks 👍👍

Have a feeling our little girl will be with us for the rest of our lives, the planning is such a good idea. By nature me and the wife are kinda introverts, but she LOVES being outdoors so we're going to need to make some adjustments. We live pretty close to the North Dakota/Minnesota border in Manitoba, I hope by next year or so to go down to the Wisconsin Dells.
My little girl will also try things just to make us happy, but has no intentions of eating it again 😄, she'll say mmm it's good... but when you ask would you try thing again... NO 🤣 You have a beautiful home!

We have not done this much in the past. But we’re retired now so we want to start doing more travel around Iowa and Craig loves a good road trip!

When you visit the world largest truck stop there is a place inside called Einstein bagles. I highly recommend trying there six cheese bagels sandwich if it still available.
Oohh, the treadmill without handle bars makes s me nervous for Craig. I would not dare to try. Anyway to create some type of handle bars for it?
We are considering a way to make a bar to hold on to. Otherwise one of us will be with him when he uses it.

First of all please get rid of the Crocs on that treadmill it's not safe to walk on a treadmill in Crocks they can slip off your feet please I'm very concerned about this and also if you could put a chair to the side of him on either side or in front of him so that he could hold on for balance that's very important also
Oh yes we won’t let him walk on it in crocs. This was just so he could see how it works. We are also working on a bar for him to hold onto.

Is Craig on the computer, his phone, or watches a lot of tv right before he goes to bed? The blue light from the screens is probably making it harder for him to fall asleep. There are blue light filters for the phone and the computer should have a night mode as well. I used to have a hard time falling asleep until I found this out. Blue light messes with melatonin in the body.
Does Craig like puzzles?
Not really. I’ve tried to get him to do one with me but he is too impatient 😊
