It's always kind of surreal to see someone's face when you're so used to them just being disembodied voices, or disembodied voices represented visually by a pony OC lol. As far as I'm concerned blank check is still just a red cartoon horse with no physical presence in the real world.
I just realized that each of the Pillars are the original type of pony that their counterpart in the Mane Six were supposed to be. Fluttershy has an Earth pony, while Pinkie has a pegasus. Other than that... Dash has a pegasus, AJ's got an Earth pony, and Twilight and Rarity each have a unicorn.
Never seen your face before. Awesome. Like the Fluttershy hat and the Saber poster. As for this episode, I honestly loved it. It gave each of the mane six something to do (loved seeing AJ kick that rock away), and it's always nice to see a redemptive villain. The only thing that bugged me a little was Starswirl being a dick, because it's such a common trope for someone's idol to be a jerk to them, even if I sort of understood his hesitance to trust Twilight.
It's fitting with pre-established canon though. Starswirl didn't understand friendship the way Twilight did, that's why she was able to finish the spell he could not.
Also, Starswirl's first mention were in Luna Eclipsed, Twilight was dressed up as him, and had lent a book i think was called "Obscure pony history" to Spike .... and he obviously hadn't read it. Yes, i have no life, any more questions? ^_^
I actually liked it. Star Swirl wasn’t a TOTAL jerk. I mean, all that he did was out of a desire to protect Equestria and its inhabitants. He seems more like someone whose cynicism was born from hard experience and struggle, and I think that’s interesting. Not only that but he and the Pillars served as a contrast against what we love most about our ponies. Any old hero could save the world, but it takes a special kind of hero to save the villain too.
thebeav ya, but like if spike was the one who brought the mane six together for the purpose of fighting monsters and actively planned strategy/studied their enemies. I kinda doubt Stygian ever really sat around doing their chores all day. I know that's not all spike does but most the time he does
I never would have guessed that the pony legends of Equestria would lead up to the finale because I was honestly expecting Chrysalis to return. This is how my fondness for this finale grew, by surprising me with a completely different plot, going deeper into the lore of Equestria with the pillars, the long awaited debut of Star Swirl, the Pony of Shadows becoming a thing again and how the pillars aided Star Swirl in banishing the sirens to the human world(which was an amazing turn of events). It makes sense that Star Swirl would only believe that the only fate for a villain is banishment or containment because Celestia once said the he didn’t understand friendship like Twilight did, which explains his behavior towards Stygian. I’m hoping that Star Swirl and the pillars will return in S8 and so forth, especially when Chrysalis decides to make her move. Overall, this is currently my favorite finale of the series and I’m really looking forward to what’s in store for us in S8. Great commentary as well, RarityDash!
The theory that Flash Magnus is a ancestor to Flash Sentry just gained more ground after this episode Also, a moment of silence for the Discord is Starswirl theory. May it Rest In Peace.
Dr. Wolf had been pushing for theory that Starswirl is actually an older Sunburst who had somehow got trapped in the past at some point in the future. I'm glad that didn't end up happening. That was not a good theory.
rarity dash, I just wanted to say that thank u for making us laugh and being there for us. you've made me so happy in the past 3 years. a few weeks ago, I went io the hospital. i suffred from food poisoning and a uti for some reason. what made me feel better, was watching your videos. I cannot get away from u smiling. I cannot thank u enough :)
That must be a horrifying thought for Twilight. She's grown so close to Starlight. The thought of Starlight not being there and locked away forever alone. Her own mentor Celestia didn't want to let Twilight herself go and was afraid she wouldn't need her anymore. This thought of what could have ended up happening to Starlight seems a lot worse.
He was also mentioned by Twilight in S2 in the Heart's Warming Eve play. That means that he existed before the first Heart's Warming, back in the Pre-Equestria era where the 3 types of ponies lived separately! Imagine if Starswirl told them more about what ponies lived like back then? We've heard almost nothing about the Pre-Equestria era and I think that it would make a great episode in S8! What do you think?
Kind of hoping they tone down always reminding her of her mistakes after this season. At this point she doesn't deserve it anymore. She has made up for it and then some.
titan hades Well she does repeat her obsess with magic all the time, but it's mainly because she's paranoid about what she's done. But I love Glimmy, and she deserves more love. She sure *glimmered* in this finally. *squee!~*
That is the difference between _someone_ "mindraped" by a rainbow tornado of forced friendship... and _somepony_ who took the slow, painfull road to redemption by her own choosing [not even under threat of "otherwise"; as she had already "won" that fight and potentially erased any other plausible "enforcer" of justice]. -> The most Sunset ever could regain of her "raging she demon" inside, was some screaming and hand gestures against Sci!Twi [when considering she believe those plants were summoned on porpouse to kill her friends... its say something about her self-control, or lack of actual freedom].
Josh Blackwell well they got a lot more arrows in their quiver so to speak with EQG being canon now, FIM comics 51+ being canon, the MLP movie, and starswirl and the pillars. Maud and Trixie are still in Ponyville, Thorax and Ember know each other now. Plus there's the LoM comics being canon and the EQG RUclips series. Also Chrysalis has to make her return. Honestly, I'll be surprised if they screw this up with do much to pull from.
My first thought when the video started: Wow, that is NOT what I thought you looked like!I mean, that's normally the case with reactors I like (for example, Blank Check and Zee Dee
You know. The thing I really like about this finale is the fact that everyone pitches in. The Mane 6, Spike, Starlight, and even Suburst help in this finale. The only major characters in this finale that doesn't do anything is the Princesses, but we are used to that by now. My only problem, is there really isn't any excuse. Celestia was trapped by Nightmare the first time, useless against Discord because of how powerful he is, Luna was off somewhere and Celestia was taken out by Chrysalis, it was Twilight's test to defeat Sombra, had no magic for Tirek, wasn't even aware of Starlight, and kidnapped by Chrysalis. What was their excuse this time?
Fair enough. I know it's not their show and all, and they already helped Equestria in the past, but I would love it if just once they helped stop a major villain.
thebeav I feel like them actually fighting one of the villains successfully would discredit the need for Twilight and the mane 6 (or 7, honestly not sure anymore at this point). And I'm p sure that between the twilight and friends + potentially starswirl's pillars along with Stygian, their strategist the princesses need a very good excuse to even involve themselves. Also the Pony of Shadows didn't rly make himself known to anyone besides the mane 6/7, sunburst, and the 6 pillars. Celestia and Luna didn't even know Starswirl was back til after everything was over
*Rainbow & Flash Magnus bonding, agreeing, hoof bumping & drinking together* "What a nice friendship." *Rarity & Rainbow look at each other* "S H I P P I N G ! ! ! ! !"
What a great way to end a great season! It's been a blast watching these with you RD and I can't wait for season 8! For now, I have some reviews and top 5 and 10 lists to make!
Meadowbrook is the pony who convinced Starswirl from taking "a chance" to Twilight´s unfinishing alternative spell. . She is also an earth pony who created her own spells (alongside 7 magically enchanted items to cast them herself, like a human would); who could read and understand what Twilight was working off and evaluating it as "unconventional"... -> It is like if Fluttershy talked Rarity into making dresses only with leaves...
I always appreciate a facecam, but your commentary and wonderful laugh is always so entertaining, you're one of the few I don't mind that is without. But hell, I'll take it any day :P
Man imagine how Shadowlock would react if he met his ancestor then and not sure if the elements are in play again. Pretty sure they will be put back into the tree.
Star Swirl would approve that beard. You may be a more of a wizard then you know RD This episode really ties a lots of puzzles together and I liked Pony of shadow and solution in the end. And the Fluttershy cap on your head, I love it
Just wanted to say thank you. I have been watching your mlp related reactions for about 2 years now, and I like your commentary, your laugh and your voice in general. I know, its only a reaction video, but like you said in your 4 hour long Q&A sub special, that it's something magical about watching someone react to something for the first time. I then noticed you reacted to other shows aswell, such as Steven Universe, Gravity Falls and Star vs The Forces of Evil. One day I decided to watch these shows on my own aswell, so I could then watch your reactions to them too. Essentially I binged everything twice. Really love all these shows now, so thank you for helping me "discover" them. I have watched Rick and Morty before you reacted to that though, and I was really excited that you reacted to that too now! And your opinions really gave me another look on Rarity and I really appreciate her now. Not sure what I even thought of her before. I know at the beginning I liked Fluttershy probably the most, but that changed eventually. Now I can't decide, because it's always hard to pick just one. Now I would just say Pinkie Pie is my favourite, because she is fun to watch. Just like you.
Does anyone slse agree with me, If the pillars meet the ponies of Ponyville, The CMC will fangirl over them, ESPECIALLY Applebloom when she meets Rockhoof?
IKR, I can totally see it! Scootaloo: Praising Flash Magnus for being the idol of her idol, & Him & Rainbow Dash having competitions to test their skills, making Scootaloo the referee, which could cause an inner conflict for her, because Flash has some skills, but she idolizes Rainbow. Sweetie Belle: Her & Rarity having a grandmother/granddaughter vibe with Mist Mane as she teaches them unique spells & skills. Applebloom: Applejack & Rockhoof hitting it off, but Rockhoof might get annoyed by her constant fangirling. *a couple of funny scenes: Rockhoof bucking a tree OUT of the ground!, & The look on Big Mac's face when he meets a Stallion BIGGER than HE is! XD
same about the throwing off part. I think my brain is actually having a disconnect aswell, because for some reason part of me can't understand the voice belongs to him even though I know that's what I'm seeing. though I think I'll contribute that fact to that I actually never saw his face until now and have been associating his voice from his Oc mascot instead. By the way RarityDash if you're reading this then nice beard.
1) what are your top 7 favorite and least favorite episodes from this season? 2) how do you rate all the seasons of MLP from favorite to least favorite? 3) on a scale of one to 5, how do you rate the last 5 episodes of season 7,And the last 6 episodes of season 6? 4) this one's kinda random, but do you think Spike is cute? 5) do you think season 8 of mlp will be the last season, or do you think I'll have another season or two? I'll probably do Fate/Apocrypha. Maybe Heaven's Feel (though I've played the visual novel, so I know what will happen in it). And of course any other Fate based series that are yet to come.
We now have a basic description for all brony reactors. Come on everybody guess them all. We've got the Geek, the Afro, the Twink, the Vsauce, the Master, the Wizardfan, and finally the Lumberjack.

I think this is probably because with the first few finales, they weren’t sure if they would get another season. So they had to make it seem more grand so that it could potentially serve as a series finale if they got cancelled. But with Season 6 and 7 they already knew they were getting another season. Which explains why these finales ended off on a more anticlimactic note.
....Season 6 and 7 ending on an anticlimactic note? Did you even watch them? More likely that Daniel were busy with movies and shorts for FiM and EqG ....
RubberyCat I mean the actual endings of the finales. The Season 6 finale ended on a joke, and this finale ended on a brief heartwarming moment. No grand musical number or anything like most of the other finales.
My very basic reaction. 2:40: Hey! It's the legends! I wonder how this finale is going to have the Mane 6 tie into them. 4:00: WHAT THE FUCK!? OKAY! DID NOT EXPECT THIS! 4:01-46:16: **Reeling**
James "Big Jim" Miller (the director of FiM for DHX), said that it was an inspiration (you can clearly see it in the "pseudo-flashback" at Ponhenge, when it holds the Pillars in place). -> More specifically, this was based on the Venom of the episode "Carnage" from _Spider-Man: The Animated Series_ (1996); since that one was also "separated by force" from its "host" and later sent to _another dimension_ from where it is supposed to be no return...
I love how when they were talking about reforming villains here, they forgot to mention the 2 biggest ones beyond Starlight Glimmer: Nightmare Moon to Luna and Discord from chaotic evil to chaotic neutral.
This finale was very good indeed how everything is tied together, but i will say season fives finale the cutie remark was sightly better, loved seeing the alternative timelines
Back is Season 4, the "Pony of Shadows" was a name that the fans created to refer to the shadowy figure from Castle Mania. That shadowy figure was later revealed to be Tirek. This is the first time in the show that a character actually called the Pony of Shadows was mentioned.
Rewatch Castle Mane-ia. They actually say the name "Pony of Shadows" repeatedly in the episode. Obviously the shadow at the end can't be the actual Pony of Shadows here given he was sealed, and it was more likely Tirek (though I'm not entirely convinced it was), but the name came from there.
It's possible that the story of the Pony of Shadows and the Tale of Nightmare Moon blended together and that's where they got the idea that the Pony of Shadows was the remnant of Nightmare Moon.
8:16 Perthro Othala Nauthiz Isa Raidho Uruz Laguz Ehwaz Eihwaz. those are the runes on the stone. feel free to decode from then forward. im struggling to find the right information.
maud could have dug a lava flow thing with her bare hoofs if her speed and strength based on her first episode is anything to go on when she is motivated.
I'm glad that everybody down below has been positive about his face cam so far. It's not an easy thing to project yourself for thousands of subscribers
15:30 Just going to ignore the Indian Pony there RD? Ah anyway I'm also really happy with how that turned out. I was really surprised by how subtly they foreshadowed these pillars of Equestria returning without making it to obvious that was going to be the pay off. It felt like they were just using those legends to add more world building flavour to the setting. Which I've loved in the past and just accepted it as that. So the turn around of having them come back was just fantastic. Although I hope also they actually use this new infusion of characters and don't just pull a Thorax for most of the season. Seeing these legends getting accustomed to the new world and maybe being helped find a place in it could be fantastic for the characters. I mean you have Rockhoof, who people clearly thought was a complete fabrication and they were excavating where he lived. Now he can be there to help them understand his culture and their history. Somnambula has a village that pretty much worship her. I'm sure seeing her get to walk among her people and understand how her home has flourished would be sweat. Oh and you know the first time Discord and Starswirl come face to face could be a treat. They wouldn't know each other of course, but I can just imagine some tension given their natures. Heck it might almost be similar to Q and Picard. Oh and can I just draw your attention to where they battled the Pony of Shadows. That episode effectively just confirmed there is some occult, old ones rituals going on around Equestria that we might only have just scratched the surface of. Sure they rescued Stygian from the shadows clutches and threw it into Limbo, but that temple was there before he became the Pony of Shadows and we have seen something else going around with some form of shadowy power. Wouldn't it be great to see this expanded upon and get some Elder god/cult worshipping action into the series? Perhaps bring out Grogar as not just a Necromancer, but also some kind of underground cult leader who has been working to sink the land into darkness and chaos for centuries. Poising Luna's mind from the darkness with well placed agents among the kingdoms court, guiding Stygian somewhere he could become a vessel for a fragment of darkness. Maybe teaching Sombra how to use his magic to enslave the Crystal Empire and set him on a bloody path of war. Sure it would be a bit dark, but I think the series could handle that. Those are just might thoughts though.
Kinda obvious reference since they even included the rolling boulder from the first Indiana Jones movie and the whip for a cutie mark. 😊 They should have included snakes in that scene to complete it. 😊
It's good to see you again. This was one of the best finales in my opinion, I'd say it's somewhere in the top three or four. Really looking forward to your reaction of The Movie. Also if you decide to react to another series during the hiatus, I'd suggest Wander Over Yonder. It's pretty short and won't take too long to get through, due to being cancelled way too soon; it's a criminally underrated gem, give it a watch when you have the time.
With the Sirens cameo in this finale was not cool enough, imagine next year!! We could have our MLP/EQG crossever that some of us have been waiting for!!!!
Star swirl : a villain is always a villain
Me: DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHOW YOUR IN!?!?
Sombra would agree
+AlexisDevilman ok so if your a villanes you get s free pass but only every third male villan Is safe he got lucky to be honest
It's always kind of surreal to see someone's face when you're so used to them just being disembodied voices, or disembodied voices represented visually by a pony OC lol. As far as I'm concerned blank check is still just a red cartoon horse with no physical presence in the real world.
I think he's had some face reveal videos before though.
No, he's done a face revel for his Bronycon announcement and he looks like vsauce TBH
+Ghost Writer fingers? What fingers? I thought he was a pony...
He looks like Vsauce? That sounds about right.
I love when the disembodied voices fit the revealed face.
Am I the only one that thinks Blank Check is missing a moment when his avatar closes his eyes to laugh. Even for a brief second.
Before the question is asked, yes. The beard works like pinkie pies. It may be small, but I can pull alcohol out of it.
All behold Raritydash the Bearded
FiniteZero hahaha yes
I just realized that each of the Pillars are the original type of pony that their counterpart in the Mane Six were supposed to be.
Fluttershy has an Earth pony, while Pinkie has a pegasus.
Other than that... Dash has a pegasus, AJ's got an Earth pony, and Twilight and Rarity each have a unicorn.
catluvr2 ooh. Good eye there. I totally missed that
What can I say, I'm a lot like Rarity with my eye for details.
Correct me if I’m wrong but didnt fluttershy use to be an earth pony and pinkie a pegasus in previous generations
Never seen your face before. Awesome. Like the Fluttershy hat and the Saber poster.

Very true. I did like his turn around at the end. :)

Not only that but he and the Pillars served as a contrast against what we love most about our ponies. Any old hero could save the world, but it takes a special kind of hero to save the villain too.
So, Stygian was like the Pillar of Equestria's Spike. An underappreciated sidekick who gets forgotten at times.
thebeav huh, that’s quite a good allegory.
So true
thebeav ya, but like if spike was the one who brought the mane six together for the purpose of fighting monsters and actively planned strategy/studied their enemies. I kinda doubt Stygian ever really sat around doing their chores all day. I know that's not all spike does but most the time he does
GASP, YOU'RE RIGHT! I DID NOT NOTICE THAT BEFORE!
When did anyone say "no offense" to Stygian?
I never would have guessed that the pony legends of Equestria would lead up to the finale because I was honestly expecting Chrysalis to return. This is how my fondness for this finale grew, by surprising me with a completely different plot, going deeper into the lore of Equestria with the pillars, the long awaited debut of Star Swirl, the Pony of Shadows becoming a thing again and how the pillars aided Star Swirl in banishing the sirens to the human world(which was an amazing turn of events). SpacialRend7 hm I still like my Discord = Starswirl fan canon
She's returning in Season 8, it was leaked that she would return in Season 8.
Sapphire Sparks what if Chrysalis get's the Power of shadow that what removed in this episode?
and tirek too
SpacialRend7 for a sec I thought you said "...that the pony from Legends of Equestria."
I was like, "wat?" XD
The theory that Flash Magnus is a ancestor to Flash Sentry just gained more ground after this episode

Oh my god, you did make a similar comment :O That is so sweet. I hope you are doing alright now, and take care! :)
thanks :D trust me. u woudent want to be me lol
OMG WHO IS THAT WONDERFUL PERSON WITH A BEARD?!!? Wow you look amazing actually, also YAAAYYY FINALE
Great, my sarcasmometer melted again... I needed a new version with a higher scale anyways...
That must be a horrifying thought for Twilight. She's grown so close to Starlight. The thought of Starlight not being there and locked away forever alone.

Oh god he's Black haired Santa Claus
He's coming to give you gifts!! >:)
Blank Slate's Mexican Neighbor 😂😂😂😂 that's wrong
Blank Slate's Mexican Neighbor your just mad all you can grow is a mustache
Arturo Rodriguez yeah!
But if the pay is good I'm building that shit
No Starswirl got mentioned first in S2 episode, Luna Eclipsed when Twilight dressed up as him.

12:55 the moment she said that, I think we all knew that she wouldn't just be bringing back the Pillars.
SABER!! Top waifu choice
i agree
"No offense."
Sunset's reaction: "None taken."
Starlight's reaction: 34:31 Say that one more time and I'll blow your sorry flank off!
Ha. I guess that's the big difference.
Kind of hoping they tone down always reminding her of her mistakes after this season. At this point she doesn't deserve it anymore. She has made up for it and then some.

47:16 No, the first mention of Starswirl was actually in Luna Eclipsed. Still season 2 though.
Season 7 has been amazing. I am really curious How is Season 8 going to top this.
Bring back sombrero.
Josh Blackwell well they got a lot more arrows in their quiver so to speak with EQG being canon now, FIM comics 51+ being canon, the MLP movie, and starswirl and the pillars. me too! :D
And since they got the elements back, I have prediction: they might use them to reform Chrysalis.
chrysalis is returning it got confirmed

I think it's because no one really told them.
No Pony contacted them after the group left the castle. They were most likely going "wtf guys! why didn't you tell us?" when it was over
*Rainbow & Flash Magnus bonding, agreeing, hoof bumping & drinking together*
"What a nice friendship."
*Rarity & Rainbow look at each other*
"S H I P P I N G ! ! ! ! !"
RarityDash is slaying that black outfit tbh
Anyone else hear the movie reference? Twilight reads of a book titled "seapony etiquette" and dismissed it. (She really should have read the book)
Spike’s dumb luck is amazing
What a great way to end a great season! It's been a blast watching these with you RD and I can't wait for season 8! For now, I have some reviews and top 5 and 10 lists to make!
HOLY SHIET RARITYDASH IS AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING!
Glimglam knows best
The Hollow Shades is such a badass name.
RarityDash looks like Rockhoof!
RarityDash looks like a truck driver like those shows on History Channel.
Yup he is a texan
same-same ??? xD
If chun lee from pawn stars was lost on an island for a year.
18:48 - 18:51 "Spike officially the element of dumb luck." True.
17:38 actually, that dragon is voiced by Nicole Oliver
My favourite Pillars in order:
6. Rockhoof
5. Mistmane
4. Flash (Sentry 😜) Magnus
3. Starswirl
2. Sonambula
1. Mage Meadowbrook
Somnambula learned how to "purrtalk" from her "frenemy" The Sphinx.
Argamis (SilverComet), I knew both of those
Woah! Reactor Horse Has Changed, And He Looks Awesome! :D Nice Look Man ;3
WHOA, dat beard. Epic.
+Ghost Writer Ha!
lol yeah!
We sure RarityDash ain't Starswirl?
idk
I always appreciate a facecam, but your commentary and wonderful laugh is always so entertaining, you're one of the few I don't mind that is without. But hell, I'll take it any day :P
Hey Raritydash looking great man this episode is great sorry for the footage missing from the face cam
Man imagine how Shadowlock would react if he met his ancestor then and not sure if the elements are in play again. Pretty sure they will be put back into the tree.
Star Swirl would approve that beard. You may be a more of a wizard then you know RD
This episode really ties a lots of puzzles together and I liked Pony of shadow and solution in the end.
And the Fluttershy cap on your head, I love it
*PONEHENGE*
findingbuglantis pwnhenge, there I made it worse, ur welcome
I ship Rainbow Dash and Flash Magnus so much, Flash Magnus is way much better than Flash Sentry
Just like you.
no way I made da same comment XD
Me too.
But on another video.
Whoa dude I never seen your face before awesome also thumbs up for that Saber poster.
The Shadow Pony is...
FUCKING ADORABLE I BETTER SEE MORE OF THE LITTLE ONE!
This episode is my new favorite season finale.
It's also my second favorite episode of the season, and my third favorite episode of the series.
Does anyone slse agree with me, If the pillars meet the ponies of Ponyville, The CMC will fangirl over them, ESPECIALLY Applebloom when she meets Rockhoof?
OMG, they should totally put that in season 8! If they make a season 8, that is.
season 8 is confirmed to be happening.
XD
11:33 I've always wanted to see his face when he laughs like that in these blind reactions.
The first mantion of starsverld was luna eclipsed, the first nightmaire night episode
30:00 NO!!!!! bring back the beard of harmony
wow, that threw me off for a second, click on video and SURPRISE face cam reaction. at least half way.
ARE you insulting how he looks!! ;)
129 T-storm I wouldn't be one to talk anyway
same about the throwing off part.
I know glad he did thow its cool when rarity is open
129 T-storm and he(raritydash) claims silverquill should stay behind his OC

And that idea I had in the back of my head of asking you to react to Fate goes to the traaaaaaaash
IWTCI RDOC Vsauce is Blank Check
Who looks like the Master?
I'm so flattered that you acknowledged my afro
IWTCI RDOC I think I've got them all
The Geek: Applegeek
The Afro: DYWTBA_Universe
The Twink: AtomicCatacombs
The Vsauce: Blank Check
The Master: MasterFreak?
The Wizardfan: Potterbrony
The Lumberjack: RarityDash
WHAT ABOUT NERFY AND PONYWATCH?
Also, did anyone else notice that this is the second season finale that doesn't have any big musical numbers? I'm starting to sense a pattern here...
Or it's the fact that during season 6 and 7 Daniel had to work on the songs for the movie so it lessened the amount of songs in season 7
....Season 6 and 7 ending on an anticlimactic note?
Did you even watch them?
More likely that Daniel were busy with movies and shorts for FiM and EqG ....
RubberyCat I mean the actual endings of the finales. The Season 6 finale ended on a joke, and this finale ended on a brief heartwarming moment. No grand musical number or anything like most of the other finales.
SO MUCH HAIR!!!!!! I LOVE IT 😭😭😭😭😭
Woah you look way different than I thought you would, not disappointed though
I've been waiting for this
But I've never seen him reacting like this before
I'm so happy right now.
My very basic reaction.
2:40: Hey! It's the legends! I wonder how this finale is going to have the Mane 6 tie into them.
4:00: WHAT THE FUCK!? OKAY! DID NOT EXPECT THIS!
4:01-46:16: **Reeling**
Wow, you look like your voice should be much gruffer than it is! What an interesting contrast.
I like it.
Imma leave this here
GLIMGLAM IS BEST PONY
Also Nvidia is gonna have a talk with hasbro with “shadowplay”
N1trix NVIDIA is the first thing I thought about when I heard an episode called "Shadow Play".
N1trix sparkle horse best horse lol
best finale EVER!!!
17:55 that hair flip
I like how they are tieing everything together.
wow, been a LONG WHILE since i've seen that face. good to do it again tho!
Cool hat.
That is one hell of a beard. I approve.
Great reaction! It was such a nice surprise to have the facecam.
Cool fluttershy hat
The first mention of Starswirl was Luna Eclipsed.
I've always loved and enjoy your commentaries in particular! Someday u MUST collaborate with the almighty DWK
The Shadow Pony reminded me of the alien symbiote (Venom) from the Spider Man series.
The glasses and hat add class.
The runes actually spell: 'Poni Rules' in the Futhark alphabet.
“Tirek isn’t coming back he’s in Tartarus...” heh hold that thought
I love when Twilight nerds out, it's so adorable.
Being in Manehattan is definitely a Marvel reference with these long-absent legendary ponies. Think about it.
Awesome season 7 ending then the start of season 8.
i am looking forward to it.
I love how when they were talking about reforming villains here, they forgot to mention the 2 biggest ones beyond Starlight Glimmer: Nightmare Moon to Luna and Discord from chaotic evil to chaotic neutral.
That was a nice season finale
It's possible that the story of the Pony of Shadows and the Tale of Nightmare Moon blended together and that's where they got the idea that the Pony of Shadows was the remnant of Nightmare Moon.
the most epic battle of history
Pony of Shadows(as king of limbo) vs King Sombra(King Of Shadow and Darkness)
7:46 instant goose bumps. that music, the tone, everything just gave a disturbingly creepy vibe
8:16 Perthro Othala Nauthiz Isa Raidho Uruz Laguz Ehwaz Eihwaz. those are the runes on the stone. feel free to decode from then forward. im struggling to find the right information.
34:30 screenshot that raised eyebrow frame and caption it.
The animation with the pony of shadows is top notch.
Yeah. I noticed that. It was really smooth and flowing. It felt different somehow.
maud could have dug a lava flow thing with her bare hoofs if her speed and strength based on her first episode is anything to go on when she is motivated.
You look amazing! That hair is god incarnate
Facecam, huh? That's an interesting (and welcome) surprise!
something tells me we will be seeing them all again in the season 8 finale.
38:03 Well Starlight, you were only HALF-WAY there.
A face showed up and I had no idea who it was. Until he started talking and introduce himself. I was not expecting the beard lol
Your're fabulous RarityDash
Also Great Reaction Man
I'm glad that everybody down below has been positive about his face cam so far.
Star Swirl was first mentioned in the first Nightmare Night episode.
Ehh it's ok. Fun finally, I liked the pony of Shadows. He kinda reminds me of a bigger smarter version of Sombra.
Ato Norwood "Smarter" Sombra was always one step ahead
With the Sirens cameo in this finale was not cool enough, imagine next year!! We could have our MLP/EQG crossever that some of us have been waiting for!!!!
