I shed a tear man. They did such justice and perriot got their baby back. Now they are going all out for bleach. The budget and love they have for it is showing. It’s so freaking crispy!
They went right into it and I’m very appreciative of it since it’s not being dragged out. Every episode is going to look like a movie and that’s exactly how it needs to be done!

@@PolarSiren I mean your right, but studio pierrot had a great reputation back in the day, but with black clover and boruto, due to fillers and inconsistent animation, it had me worried, but I'm glad I was proved wrong, plus bleach is gonna split into 4 cours, which is even better 😂😂
@@justsomeguywithamustache2901 then I'll say studio "Pierrot" will get back his reputation with Bleach.
I think the simple reasoning why Pierrot got more brutal here than the anime’s original run was simply because the anime at that time was originally made for broadcasting whereas TYBW’s adaptation is made for Streaming and I think there’s a little bit more leeway that shows have in scenarios like that
It's because of Airing time, Tybw is Airing at 0 Am if I remember correctly, so they can go all out on the gore since most children in Japan will not be up watching that late.
They must also be aware that within the 10 year period of the anime ending and coming back most of their fans have become adults.
Regardless the reason, I’m just insanely happy

One of my favorite anime/manga is back, I love to see how everyone is loving Bleach
3:35 It was at this moment of the episode, if not the entire series of Bleach, where I cried the most. It's like seeing old friends that I haven't seen in over a decade and they never missed a beat! So happy to see Ichigo and the gang back!
My wife introduced Bleach to me way back in the day when we were just dating and we used to binge it a shit ton. So when this came out, with modern animation... you better believe we were going nuts.
Sasakibe not only had a bankai but the scar on Yamamoto was made in a battle between the two of them it is a really cool bankai as well
Yep. A very strong, loyal Vice Captain, more than worthy of being Captain had he wanted. But, Sakakibe chose to stick with Yama.
@@thesevendeadlysins578 Question though from someone that hasn't read the manga, how can Sasakibe be captain tier when Ichigo fodder'd him in the soul society arc? Back then he never struck me as a strong character.
@@shotgunmessiah9063 Good question. Ichigo surprised the Lieutenants with his sudden attack and the speed of it. He caught Sasakibe off guard and hit him hard. Sasakibe wasn't prepared for the rush, even less so after seeing Ichigo blitz one of them.

Agreed xD However I do wish that her comedic face was still in from the manga as she did it, but they cut out a good chunk of comedic panels probably to keep things more serious I guess.

It’s been a long wait until now but I never stopped believing that Bleach would come back one day. It was just far too unique of a show for it not to. I’m so happy I stuck around, it’s like a reward 😊

Still can't process the fact that studio pierrot can produce this level of animation quality, and out of all the anime they've adapted, it seems BLEACH TYBW, might be their best to date😂😂

If they keep this up, this will be the best single arc Studio Pierrot has put out for any anime. I think this will wake up all other studios and show why Bleach earned its place in the Big Three.
It helps that the direction is very strong. The usage of color hues and the color edges on the characters is very strong.
I forgot how much I love how Bleach can go from contemporary slice of life to super badass Shounen to old school samurai flick in like 4 mins

Both the episode and your reaction are top tier.
The op is another song by Tatsuya Kitani called "Scar". The ending is by SennaRin called "Saihate" . The ending in this episode was a like a commemorative/special ending by the same artist Tatsuya Kitani called "Rapport". Dude is a huge fan of BLEACH and it's dope to see that the staff decided to use this song in this too, which was previously used in the BLEACH EX. PV.
Perfect reaction man I watched it over and over and I’m glad I did because there are things that go on in the background that i didn’t notice happen the first time around. The animation is so crisp and I’m so glad my girl Orihime got a power boost. This episode is dope and can’t wait till next Monday for episode 2
As I rewatch the Fullbringer arc currently, I forgot how Orihime showed she got a lot stronger during the time skip.

I know for a fact that Yama doesn't have the same VA. The previous VA passed away sadly but like the new VA is doing a pretty good job filling those big shoes!

This show ended when I was in high school. To say it motivated my style and how I perceive good characters and soundtracks would be an understatement.
Disney+ can only censor what’s censored in Japan since they only have the streaming rights. So whatever Viz Media streams, it has to be shown on Disney as well.
I absolutely love how they’re going out for the last & final arc of the Bleach series. I’ve loved this manga ever since i first touched the first volume in 5th grade. Who knew what a manga about a orange hair kid with a huge sword would turn out to be. I thank Tite Kubo for blessing my childhood mann! BLEACH IS BACK!!!!!
The ed of episode 1 is actually the theme song of Bleach Exhibition, where they first tell us about TYBW being in production, not the actual ed.
The real op and ed will be different. I'm pretty sure.

I've waited... no.... we've waited on so looooong for this and, for it to come back hitting hard like this with the nostalgia the fresh new fluent animation and fight scenes the art work the uncensored Gore the strait to the point action and adaptation of the manga strait to anime no stretch out bs . It's truly something spectacular. I know I don't have any complaints. Not 1. Oh yeah and if thier are new voice actors anywhere in there I can't tell. It's got that original nostalgic feel!!! I fkn love this 💘!!!

WestSid, Glad Studio PIERROT went with the seasonal route rather than long term weekly releases. Hopefully it'll stay consistent 'til the end. Really happy for all BLEACH fans, including myself of course. OST took my back to my old days. Plus, that ending sequence was such a fan service.
sasakibe's bankai is Kōkō Gonryō Rikyū, a lightning type bankai. Yamamoto has sung praise for both the power and potential his bankai had, as several scars he has from when he was younger come from him and sasakibe sparing. Sadly yamamotos og voice actor passed away a few years ago but i think his new voice defintly careis the power someone like yamamoto should yeild.
Bleach was the first anime i ever watched, and i managed to catch up and watch the final episode right as it was airing for the first time. 10 years of waiting, and it was perfect. down to the single frame.

First I love that Bleach is finally back starting strong. And as a German I can say that the sub is definitely weird because the words made no sense and the spelling was butchered for sure except the last line 😄
When he said "Los" meaning "go" but translated into "now" which is okay I guess. He really nailed the spelling there 😁
I just want to see how they spell the rest of the words and names.

It has been 10 years so the voice actor has aged a lot as well so that could be a thing (regarding Ikkaku). But yeah the pace is moving and grooving.

If you skip the fillers then it's around 200 something, with fillers it's 366 I think. It's one of the OG Shonen Boys that launched anime to the stratosphere it is so yeah it had a lot of time to build its episode base. As a Bleach fan that can put aside personal bias, I can tell you that Bleach isn't exactly the best of IP out there. It's good, not great, and many people love it because it's how a lot of us got into the anime world as a whole rather than it being quality type deal. But if one wants some cool dragon ball z like fights, but it's with swords and spirits then this is a show to give a whirl.

I wouldn't rely on the Manga - the creator has stated the Anime will be fixing his mistakes and to expect it to look quiet different by the end
I saw that. Mostly sounded like the story won't be altered at all other than being able to put in bits he was not able to before due to time constraints he was under with Shonen. All should still happen tho as it did with extra stuff.
As an anime only watcher who watches one piece I found this episode kinda fast 😂
Super duper understandable and kind of agreed cuz it is INSANELY FASTER than what any of the Big 3 have ever been allowed to have before. Their material back in the day and even today has always had to be stretched out or have inserted filler to keep it going, and it's such a crazy thing seeing one of them get not only the high level quality this is getting but also not have to do that extension anymore.
So many people asking why ichigo went bankai. Nothing to do with the anime, ask kubo. Nothing to do with fan service they just need to animate what is in the manga

Well I’m on the fence about Ikkaku cuz it does sound like him...but also not 100%? Same goes for Genryusai, but if it’s not them then it is super close enough

The day's almost over and I'm still processing Bleach is back. Usually I'm exaggerating, but I mean it when I say the wait was worth it. The art, the animation, the sound, the characters, the tone of it all, the MUSIC makes me feel like it never left. Oh my gosh the high quality though! Way to make up for all the years of wishing and hype for the final arc. Now I wouldn't have it any other way.
Imagine an alternate reality where it did manage to continue when it's popularity and budget wasn't the same anymore. Would I have been as hyped today if it was some sequel/reboot nobody asked for premiering 10 years later instead like what other series are doing? HELL NO. They really are doing justice to the final arc of a fav series of mine. I can't believe it. I haven't read the final arc, but I do hope the anime adaptation continues to honor how it was written.
I can vouche as someone that read the manga, this episode is adapting it at such a shot for shot pace it is crazy! This level of quality is such a crazy thing and it is such a treat to see one of the OG big 3 get this treatment all these years later indeed

Sadly yes....you pay for a subscription that forces ads on you....However this is the standard format coming from everything that isn't anime based (HBO does it to and soon Disney + and Netflix will have ads on their lowest tiers). This is the primary reason Crunchyroll has always been my favorite subscription for watching stuff period (pay and stream with no ads)

Bleach is the perfect example of why not to watch subtitled television. With all the different languages spoken by the different factions in this show, you would think one of them would be somewhat decently translated.
The more I see of bleach, the more I want to drop Naruto so I can start watching Bleach
As much as I love Bleach more than Naruto, I will 100% admit it is not as good of a property overall in quality BUT...this particular adaptation is looking and moving leaves better than any of the big 3 got to have back in their hay day

Bleach is back and showing everyone why it's part of the Big 3 right off jump. Absolutely beautiful to see it back after so long as someone who started the anime back when it aired on Toonami/Adult Swim in the 2000s and started the manga shortly thereafter, I was losing my mind when it was finally announced and my god did they not disappoint. Feels so good to see Bleach finally uncensored and allowed to fully bring Tite Kubo's vision to life thanks to additional scenes, uncensored, and the series being directly supervised by Kubo himself. And that special ending, god it hit me because I had been a bit sad when Rapport wasn't announced as the OP. Thankfully Scar is pretty good and is Tatsuya Kitani, and the actual ED is fantastic imo.
