I like that suggestion of using two gels for your wash n go especially the moisturizing one as the leave in. I will definitely try that. The using a blow dryer for me gives a better wash n go than air drying as well. I just feel like as type 4 girls stretching our curls out is the best way to minimize damage in order to retain length. I appreciate your videos because you keep it real! Looking forward to the next one!
I’m so happy to see a video like this! I only see that people have weekly wash and gos and my hair gets SO dry but a month is too long for me to wash my hair so to weeks is PERFECT! 😭 I would love to give this a try every two weeks.

I'm so happy to see you. I haven't used my Eco Slay as my topper. I just keep forgetting it is in the fridge ☹️. My current UFD topper is the Obia Naturals custard. I rarely if ever use leave in since following black girl curls. My hair last from wash day to wash day. I've stretched it longer, but I don't make it a habit.

I tried your method 😍😍😍 & I’ve never had a shinier more defined washngo!
I used a half dollar sized amount of kinky curly knot today leave-in/detangler on my whole head. Then went in with just enough of the uncle funky’s daughter curly magic, & topped that with eco styler olive oil 😍😍😍 I tried to not overuse product! The uncle funky’s really helped me use less eco gel therefore allowing my hair to dry faster & have more volume day 1!
I purchased the UFD Curly Magic and the UFD travel kit As always a nice and helpful video. Now I have to decide if I want to do a wash and go or twist out this week end.

For me, but I'm a very loose texture, I always need to use a cream before a gel, otherwise I might get flakes, and I can do it all but I can't do flakes. ;) Is it me, or did your hair grow a fair amount?

thank you for posting! i’m trying to become a wash and go girly lol i’ve been doing them every week for
the last month and i still can’t get my hair to do what i want it to do. i find that my hair starts to shrink up (significantly) after i’m done applying product to one section of hair. do you have any tips for that?? my hair texture if very similar to yours and i do a similar technique with product application.
What is the super moisturizing deep conditioner you use? I didn't see the video you linked for it, might have missed it :(
Hi, i know i late to the video. But i wanted to know if your hair ever reverts with this combo? Like during humidity or if it starts to rain or you go to the beach? Thats my biggest problem with my stretched wash n gos.
