I’ve been doing wash n gos for over a year and half and I can honestly say , you can retain length length with wash n gos. Just make sure your hair never gets to be dry and brittle. That’s all it is keep your hair moisturized. People fail to realize that you can leave your hair in a protective style and your hair can dry out but with wash n gos your more likely to pay attention too it.
When you buy hair products you look on the back they say use small amounts of hair products and your hair dry faster in the hot weather your hair going to dry longer in the cold weather
That’s what happen to me because I was doing wash &go’s but I wasn’t keeping it moisturize enough. Plus I kept it in a ponytail all of the time, which is another way to break our hair off.
I couldn’t agree more! I used to protective style heavily. Now that I’m at a length that I’m more comfortable with I’ve doing wash n gos, and I wish I did this earlier in my hair journey bc my hair is thriving on a new level. The whole concept of a protective style is a myth. They’re beautiful recreational styles but there’s no need to “protect” our hair more than any other. Plus people often neglect their hair for weeks and months because of it.
One thing I notice about those who have grown their hair long - whether they do protective styles or wash n go - they do not use combs in their hair. They detangle using the fingers with water or conditioner. I am definitely going to do that.
Ms. Mississippi is thigh length and she uses a comb every single wash day BUT she washes her afro textured hair every 2-3 days WITH shampoo. Washing the hair frequently actually makes it more resilient. The main reason our hair can't handle tools is not the curl but the strands are fragile, brittle, and dry because we don't shampoo enough. Even once a week is too long. This black female scientist explains it clearly:

Been natural for 3 years and it's been 100% wash n gos. Grown everyday but mindful that I have extremely tight coiled curls with 75% shrinkage (not a stretcher) so an inch for someone is not an inch for me in my natural state...and I love it 😀
This video was just what I needed. I started doing wash n go’s and sticking to a routine for the past 2 months and I can already see the growth. I’m also noticing the areas where I had a lot of breakage are growing back in and i am so happy with my hair lately.
Giving your hair constant moisture is key!! I started treating my hair just like I treat my indoor plants. Tons of love and water! My natural curls are cut into a short Bob now… and this is my go to stretch method!! I like to air dry for a few hours to allow my curls to really tighten in place. Then I stretch gently using a blow dryer. I get almost 3 additional inches with this method. So simple and so effective!
Girl!!!!!! 💯💯💯💯 I’ve been natural since before RUclips was a thing... this is the key 💯 percent to length retention. Everything you said is it!!! Wash-n-go was my jam and that is how I did my daughter when I had her. It’s low manipulation, constant moisture/water because we wash more, finger detangling, and a good cream and sealant to keep the moisture in. Refresh with water until the next wash...THATS ALL! People always asked how my hair grows so fast... LEAVE IT ALONE. If you notice, that’s how all the big natural you tubers grow their hair.... wash-n-go. Y’all better listen. This is it! Great info. Great video. You hit the nail on the head. I’m growing locs now...😊♥️
My hair is the exact opposite , wash n go's make my hair get matted and tangled and to detangle it cause my hair to break off but keeping it in twist made my hair grow to mid back
Same for me too. It seems like henna or really thick clays are the only one that can tame my high porosity 4c curls but you have t9 wash those out😞 gel flakes & takes tio long to dry. It may have been my product selectiion back then tho when i was a product junkie but now my rountine is so simple so i might by a good blow dryer for stretching and try to find a heavy moisturizing cream with clay like consustency & try again one day soon🤷🏽💆🏽
@@sammy69831 I'm high porosity 4c too; wash and go's are my go-to hairstyle (in fact, I wear them 99% of the time, I only ever protective style twice in 3yrs). I do my mine rather unconventional though..... I don't use a leave-in or moisturizer after washing out my deep conditioner, I just apply a little oil and hair gel (wetline extreme). My hair stays defined for the whole week...and it could last longer but I have to wash it every week because I do taekwondo so I sweat alot and even then my wash and go's are impeccable. You should give it a try to see if it works for you....just remember you MUST deep condition, that's the only way your hair will stay hydrated. Good Luck!
Your dry stretch method is life changing! You're the only one I've come across that does it. It makes life soooooo easy! I use the band method, no heat; once hair is completly dry I band sections for about 2 hours then remove the bands and presto! Instant stretched, curly hair style! Love that you embrace and promote wash n go!
NaturalReign is speaking facts!💯 I just want to live and wear my natural, kinky-coily hair in peace. Wash and gos have allowed me to do just that. Natural hair thrives on consistency, and the more you finger detangle the easier it gets...to where you no longer need a tool to detangle at all.
@@adwoamk8918 I would say develop a very low maintenance routine. I shampoo, deep condition, style in a wash and go once a week. My hair retains moisture, and nearly no single strand knots. Keep it simple(this also cuts down on knots). A year ago I cut out the ACV rinses, clays, etc, and my coils look so much better. I don't use heat when I deep condition anymore...the steam from the shower is enough. Finger detangling cuts down on breakage. Every bluemoon I'll use a detangling brush, and it goes through my strands easily...so finger detangling works. I spend at the most 3 hrs and 30 min on my hair per week. Bonnet every night and fluff hair in the morning.
I love wash and go's. They're quick and last a week for me. The key is finding out the right products. My wash and go's were okay with cantu and eco styler but my hair looks amazing with Mielle pomegranate and wetline extreme.
Just wanted to let you know how much you’ve inspired me to wear my natural hair AND do wash n go’s! It’s been 2 months and I’m loving the results each time! Thanks for the inspiration 💕✨
Hair truly depends. I have almost waist length high porosity hair (I've been natural 5 years). I wash every 2-3 weeks, deep condition maybe once every three months and use protein treatments maybe once a year. I wouldn't recommend anyone do what i do but it works for me. I went to get my hair flat ironed and when i explained how low maintenance i was the hairdresser prepared me to lose inches of length. I only needed an inch gone but i also trim myself about twice a year. I think doing so little and genes is why my hair does great but others need more.
Right! Everybody is different. Some will swear by wash and gos or wash their hair every week. That’s not me!! Twists and braid outs helped me to keep my length. And yes I need a wide tooth comb cause single strings knots are real sis!
Thank God you said this because a lot of people are under the impression that your hair can't grow as much with wash-n-go's! Thank you so much for this and your hair is proof that it does work! Also, not everyone wants a protective style. I love wearing my natural hair... just as it is! Ok... where did you get this super sized plastic caps! I need those on my life!
I’ve just started doing wash and go’s. I was blowing out my hair for over a year for twistouts. Wash and go’s provides so much more moisture for my hair and I love it. Can’t believe that I kept relying on the heat.
I’ve been doing wash and gos for about six weeks. Wash day is every Sunday. I start with a homemade protein treatment. Shampoo, deep conditioner, leave in curling custard and gel to seal and my hair has grown and gotten thicker. I haven’t tried these products yet. But I will in the next few weeks. I can believe my whole life I had this pretty curly hair. I’ve learned soo much from you and excited about my hair journey!!!
Wash n gos are how I grew my hair out but all of the gurus say protective styles and detangling. I wish I listened to my gut and my hair and stayed away from detangling brushes
This is awesome! I avoid curl typing but I have “4c” hair and I’ve been only washing, conditioning, and using gel for wash and go’s. It’s been a month and my hair has never felt this good. Yes. My hair shrinks about 75-80%. But shrinkage is shrinkage and I embrace it cuz it looks like a cool little cut! I barely get any tangles, shedding is minimal and breakage is nonexistent. I can’t wait to see where my hair is in 6 months!!! I also don’t use anything apart from shampoo, conditioner, gel, or mousse depending on if imma throw a wig on during the week or not.
Wash and go really grows my hair. "Protective styles" end up breaking my hair more when I take down the styles. I started back wash n go yesterday and plan to stick with it. I used to co-wash n go a few times a week and a clay wash a couple times a month. Back to what worked (Kinky-Curly Knot Today and their gel).
Currently starting my wash n go journey. I’m transitioning from twists outs to wash n gos 😂 Doing twists/braids every wash day is just too time consuming for me.
I'm also going from twist-outs to wash and go's! Twists take so long and take up so much time. I continued doing twist-outs bc it gave me length and definition but I've recently been doing wash and go's. My hair is defined and although there's shrinkage the volume is immaculate.
Agree wholeheartedly!! I grew my hair to waist length doing primarily wash and gos for almost the entire time I’ve been natural (5/2012).I did a second big chop in 2019 because I went on Keto (lost 96 pounds) but probably over did the fasting and also entering the menopause years (hormone changes). I’m still doing wash and gos. I’m not fasting drastically anymore and I’m taking natural supplements. I’m back to bra strap length coming from a tapered cut I did in September of 2019. So... definitely possible.
I was literally looking up articles on how I could grow my hair just wearing it out. I was looking up to see if I could even do that with my natural hair. I live in the country country. There are not too many hairstylist catering to Black people down here. I’ve probably worn box braids three times in my life. The only styles I know is back bun, top knot, two cornrows, and a puff. I’m tired of doing two platts for the protection of my hair. I just wanna wear my hair out.
My wash and gos used to take 2 hours from the time I stepped in the shower to the time I was ready to leave the house. I trained my hair and I can get it done in 30 mins if I need to now. And my hair is about lower back length not quite tailbone yet.
I can definitely say that this is true! I don’t know much about hair types but my hair doesn’t look like yours while wet but wash n go’s have been the best thing EVER for my hair. And has gotten my hair to longest it’s ever been. So I do think this could work for multiple types of hair
I finally made the decision to stop being cheap this month and invested in some better products😅......been natural for 5 years now and I've been stuck on the same length......so definitely going to start a regimen and deep condition every Sunday and no more combs etc
I absolutely LOVE THISSSSS!!!! Im at my beginner stage by I do wash and go's ALL the time just because I got tired of wigs and weave. I noticed my hair growing and getting fuller but NOW I know WHY!!! I will DEF take your tips and buy the products you recommended.
I became a wash and go girl in 2017 and it was the best thing i ever added into my routine. They more you do it the easier wash day is! Plus twists take like two days to dry and im not walking around hiding twists! If my wash and go is still wet i just put it in a bun or pineapple! Instant hairstyle! Lol
S Curl products did it for me 💕 I use the leave in spray and the activator gel with eco styler gel on top. Day 1 will be a little sticky but day 2 and beyond are awesome. My hair feels hydrated and soft throughout the whole week. If I need to refresh or define curls I just add a little water (no extra product) and the results have been amazing 🔥
What you're saying is facts! I am hi-porosity and didn't think wash-n-gos would work but after following Anthony Dickey's method, wash n gos have been the BEST way I've been able to retain moisture! My hair thrives! I follow a similar method to what you're doing, and yes it takes some time but you can train your hair!
I agree, you CAN grow your hair with wash and go’s! I’ve been doing them for 6 months and my hair has definitely grown! But I’m going back to my twists because I just miss them❤️😅! Great video Ms. Reign, Thanks for sharing 🥰!
I grew my hair with wash n gos. I went autopilot for 8 months straight wash n gos and 3 month trims, and I retained more length than I ever have before. It works for me
Just getting into wash and goes after being natural for 10 years. I got a deva cut and learned a lot. Your channel has been extremely helpful. Thank you for all of your videos.
This what Im saying. I had lower back length 4c hair which was heat damaged by a fake natural stylist. I cared for my hair with protective twists and just left it alone. The longer my hair got, the longer it took to manage, twisting and untwisting, detangling, and whatnot. Nevertheless, I have big chopped and said to myself, SURELY I can retain length without having to twist it all of the time. I should be able to leave it out as long as it is moisturized regularly. Honestly, think about high school and how guys would grow their hair out without a protective style. They just applied leave in conditioner every morning and kept it moving. We ladies cant retain length because, honestly, we do to much.
She is the most beautiful young lady I have ever seen. She doesn't even wear makeup!!! trully has inspired me to grow out my hair in a wash and no go. My sister was like, “your hair reminds me of that NaturalReign beauty" me, " OOOOh I am doing something right!!!"🤔🥰🤣
Thank you for this advice because I have 4C HAIR. Ever since I found a all natural protein conditioner and used ALOE on the scalp and hair strains, my hair looks moisturized and juicy all the time. And I started to get less shedding and breakage. 💕
I’m on a quest to do a simple style that doesn’t take long, looks good for day or night and helps with length retention. I’m trying wash n go’s again and you helped inspire me to keep it up. Your hair is gorggggg! Thanks for the video! 😍
I will try this as well, because my hair is getting on my nerves!! I've been natural for 5 years and my hair won't go past my shoulders. I started to keep it stretched by braiding it at night so it won't get notted up and that seems to work. I have 4c low porosity hair, I pray that this works, because I was thinking about putting a perm in my hair.
I just want say: Your tutorial video has certainly cut my wash day routine by half the time. I started to dread my wash routine because it became a burden. I was seriously considering relaxing my hair due to the time it took to complete my routine!!!! Love it !!!💛
I started watching you years ago because you said you have high porosity hair and so do I! I'm graying and could never dye my hair because dye would dry my hair out and cause breakage. I've been natural for almost 3 years and I've done only wash and goes and they work for me too! I'm tender head so I can not tolerate tight, pinching protective hair styles they give me headaches. My hair is flourishing with the wash and gos, finger detangling and low manipulation.
I've had the most growth from wash n gos. I used to protective style but my hair was breaking off because it's so fine. For me, the best part of wash n gos is I can see and feel how my hair is doing. I gotta try getting back into finger detangling tho
This is the best video I've seen on RUclips about how to manage your hair properly if you trying to grow longer. how you explained the wash and go was perfect
For the past year or so I've just been loving wash and go's. I used to do braid outs, flexi rods, bantu knots, etc. I find doing wash and go's is just so much easier and faster, my hair is more moisturized, and I get less breakage.
I'm high porosity too and I found that the gel works as a barrier to keeping the moisture in my hair. Because as high porosity, the hair does not retain moisture. The wash and gos grew my hair for that very reason. The only thing was that I needed to redo every three days or so. I need to work on that.
First video I have seen of yours and I am loving the hair and the techniques! I used to do these same things when I was going wash and gos a lot. I big chopped my hair when it was waist length because after having 5 kids, I had lost a lot of it and wasn't happy with the look of it two years ago. But it's back in full effect and I am ready to soon start my wash and go journeys again! I get tired of constantly doing twist outs. Haha! Loving your personality also! New subbie!
Taking your time and being gentle when taking down your styles is very important too! It's mostly that, detangling very gently and keeping your hair moisturized.
I love hearing about how frequently you redo your hair. I've just started my commitment to doing wash and go's and have been redoing it every 5 days. Glad to know I'm not the only one who washes more often than once a week.
My hair looks its best when I redo my wash n go every 3 days. I always know what to expect for each day, my hair is always hydrated and my curl pattern looks more defined from the consistent moisture. I’m grateful that I finally stopped thinking my hair wasn’t wash n go hair!
My hair grew soooooo much after my big chop with just wash & go’s and once I started coloring my hair choke it was a wrap I lost so much strength in my hair and eventually it just broke off a lot so if u color hair plz do protein treatments!
@@naimahw635 I know for me, I get trims every 2-3 months and do protective styles in between. As my hair grows out, the strands that get free (on nape of neck and framing my face) tend to tangle and knot up.
I just came back to wash and goes after 11 years being natural. I did them when I first did my big chop and my hair grew so much and really fast. I stopped because of the drying time and I wanted to have the length/full afro look as much as possible. After not seeing growth for years, I'm finally back and excited to see if I canfinally move past my plateau stage in my length.
I just want to say thank you so much for doing this video. I am so glad that you posted this, because as someone who loves color, I was always so worried about my hair not being able to grow with color. I have been natural since I was 15 and I am 24 now, and I have seen some growth, but it hasn't been growing like I wanted. And I think--No, I know a lot of it is because: A.) I did not have the right products and B.) I wasn't sure how to go about it. I have dreamed about having long beautiful, healthy, natural hair for some time now, and was really getting depressed because I couldn't figure out why my hair wasn't growing. I used to always envy my sister's hair because it was more loose and more manageable mine, and because of it, my hair and I were not on the same page. It's taken a lot of time for me to realize that just because my curls are a little more tight, does not mean they can't be beautiful and long. I recently just started getting into wash and Go's. And seeing this video, has truly inspired me. I know now that it is possible to have vibrantly colored hair and retain length, as long as my hair still gets its protein and moisture. So, thank you so much for sharing this. I am also looking into the exact products you used and plan to try them out and color my hair, because Bay-beee it's time for some color, hahaha! Best of wishes to you and you have deff. earned yourself a new subscriber.

I know this video is "old", but I totally agree. I always thought wash n go's weren't for me, but I just needed more water. Twist outs broke my ends off and required too much manipulation. @@taylorsara1237 A wash n go is actually: Cleanse, Condition, Set/Style, Dry and go 🤌🏾✨
Been natural for 3 years and it's been 100% wash n gos.
I’m so happy to hear this love! 🤗
So simple and so effective!
how often do you wash your hair

My hair is the exact opposite , wash n go's make my hair get matted and tangled and to detangle it cause my hair to break off but keeping it in twist made my hair grow to mid back
Same for me
I’m the same.
But I’m low porosity. She’s high porosity. I’m suspecting that has a lot to do with it
Same for me too.
Good Luck!
Same sis
Yep! It can be done... I did it for 3 years.. from TWA to 20 inches long🥰
hope i can do this, thanks.
😍
Exactly! I rarely use my combs and brushes anymore
A lot of people type 4 tightly coiled hair, complain about tangling and more single strand knots with wash and go', how have you managed that?
How long does it take you to detangle?
@@nicolletterobbins8920 🙌🏾
I’m over here crying 😭 your hair is everything sis so healthy, long, curly, voluminous. I can’t breathe
I love wash and go's. They're quick and last a week for me. The key is finding out the right products. My wash and go's were okay with cantu and eco styler but my hair looks amazing with Mielle pomegranate and wetline extreme.
Which Mielle pomegranate product?
@@lachellee The leave in.
I'm going to try it...love the leave in but haven't tried the wetline gel
It's Softee olive oil styling gel and Carol's Daughter coil enhancing moisture butter for me. Also soaked my hair in water first and it worked.
the wet line extreme makes my hair really really hard the next day :/
Just wanted to let you know how much you’ve inspired me to wear my natural hair AND do wash n go’s! It’s been 2 months and I’m loving the results each time! Thanks for the inspiration 💕✨
I'm so proud of you!💙
Your curls look beautiful
Yes. People always leave out the major role genes play!
How do you keep you high porosity hair mosturizrd
genes is the key factor herw
Isn’t that unhygienic though. Why would you go weeks without cleansing? 🤢
I've noticed that my hair grows so fast with wash-n-go's. It's never gotten as long as yours, but it got longer than it's ever been ❤️
Wash n gos are how I grew my hair out but all of the gurus say protective styles and detangling. I wish I listened to my gut and my hair and stayed away from detangling brushes
I completely agree! Wash n go's work much better for me as well.
Yessss that's how I started out I shouldn't got on YT listen to other people for my growth smdh
Same exact thing I'm doing!! Plus I think the twist outs are tearing up my ends!
@@shaulanaw yes girl. Do what’s best for your hair!
I'm also going from twist-outs to wash and go's! Twists take so long and take up so much time. I continued doing twist-outs bc it gave me length and definition but I've recently been doing wash and go's. My hair is defined and although there's shrinkage the volume is immaculate.
@@aggiek.789 agreed sis! And yeah I noticed a lot more shrinkage with wash n gos, but a good banding/blow dry stretch will do the trick!
How do you sleep with your hair after wash day since you’re doing the wash n go’s instead of twists?
I did the same thing! My hair has grown so much in the past 6 months and I’ve pretty much only done wash and go’s
My wash and gos used to take 2 hours from the time I stepped in the shower to the time I was ready to leave the house. I trained my hair and I can get it done in 30 mins if I need to now. And my hair is about lower back length not quite tailbone yet.
This is exactly what I’m talking about! You get a good routine going and your hair leaned how to behave over time! 👏🏽👏🏽
YASSS!
I can definitely say that this is true! I don’t know much about hair types but my hair doesn’t look like yours while wet but wash n go’s have been the best thing EVER for my hair. And has gotten my hair to longest it’s ever been. So I do think this could work for multiple types of hair
How is this exactly what I needed??? 🙃🙂🙃
Oh you didn’t know?! I be reading minds 😏
Same here 💕
Same!!! My hair is thick but I'm not retaining length 🥺maximum shrinkage over here

LITERALLY
I finally made the decision to stop being cheap this month and invested in some better products😅......been natural for 5 years now and I've been stuck on the same length......so definitely going to start a regimen and deep condition every Sunday and no more combs etc
Combs are the enemy.
I HIGHLY believe in deep conditioning and finger detangling!! Dusting as well. I think it helped me retained length so much
Trim the split ends at least every 3.5 to 4 months.
Lol
You might use to much hair products that why it take long to dry your twist out
@@saharajohnson6481 ! I will try to use less! Thank you i love how twist out look on others but i just cant get it right lol
The way my hair is setup, I have yet to figure out a wash n go method..Your hair is gorgeous 😍
Same lol. I usually do twists and twist outs because i never thought type 4 and high porosity could do wash and gos like this. Ima have try soon.
Beautiful hair
S Curl products did it for me 💕 I use the leave in spray and the activator gel with eco styler gel on top. Day 1 will be a little sticky but day 2 and beyond are awesome. My hair feels hydrated and soft throughout the whole week. If I need to refresh or define curls I just add a little water (no extra product) and the results have been amazing 🔥
Girl you better teach them! I’m a natural hair specialist & you on point with the facts! I love it
Wash n gos have helped a lot. I don't want to do anything else at this point. 😩
Your hair is always so gorgeous! 🤗
"You gotta pick a struggle." LOL! Wise words indeed! Thank you for sharing.
It works for me
The hair gods said yep we about to bless her with this amazing crown! 😍 your hair is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
I just took made notes because I've been in the same length for years now and I'm over it ! I love the tips and the results this was bomb.

Trim your end!!!
Hair always grows, but break offs, if not trimmed.
how has the growth been so far??🥰
That's me my hair grows so much but just breaks off I have low porosity hair
Your literally the Wash n Go RUclips Queen 👸🏾
Just getting into wash and goes after being natural for 10 years. I got a deva cut and learned a lot. Your channel has been extremely helpful. Thank you for all of your videos.
I love your hair and thank you for a basic simple wash n go.
Your hair is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of Chaka Khan in her video when she sang "I'm Every Woman".
Yes! I thought of Chaka Khan, too!

How are the results now?
I got so much breakage from not being patient and gentle when detangling 🥴. Ima do better though! Thanks for this

Same girl same
I can not for the life of me finger detangle. The denman brush is a lifesaver!!!
I haven’t mastered wash and go. Those fairy knots was taking over and I left that style alone.
Try a trim
I remember when your hair was shorter. WOW. THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. I hate taking the time to do my hair and this gives me life and faith.
That color and stretched wash n go is everything on you! 🤩💅🏾
Girlll how did I just now find you years after my natural hair journey… u are such a wonderful person
For the past year or so I've just been loving wash and go's. I used to do braid outs, flexi rods, bantu knots, etc. I find doing wash and go's is just so much easier and faster, my hair is more moisturized, and I get less breakage.
You really are the Wash N’ Go Queen 💅🏽👑😂💞
can you do a nighttime routine? that's what I struggle with the most :(
That's my problem too
Your tips are DEFINITELY giving what it's supposed to gave sis 😭, i needed this!!
New subbie!
CurlSmith is where it's at! Your hair is sooooo Beautiful. Preach the sermon Jae!!! ReignGang💙
Taking your time and being gentle when taking down your styles is very important too! It's mostly that, detangling very gently and keeping your hair moisturized.
I do wash and goes and my hair is finally retaining length. I redo it every other day. It takes no time in the shower to do.
@@CloverCutthroat Yes! It's a whole new way of thinking about it!
My hair grew soooooo much after my big chop with just wash & go’s and once I started coloring my hair choke it was a wrap I lost so much strength in my hair and eventually it just broke off a lot so if u color hair plz do protein treatments!
Girl I’m scurrreeddd I swore off of wash n gos to avoid single strand knots 🪢. You’re tempting me 😩
Same! I get so many, but I have a tendency to let my hair get dry because I want a lot of length and volume.
You must get routine cuts/trims if you want to maintain great WNG.
@@naimahw635 I know for me, I get trims every 2-3 months and do protective styles in between. As my hair grows out, the strands that get free (on nape of neck and framing my face) tend to tangle and knot up.
Stretch while your hair is drying, helps keeps them away for sure
Yeah I feel mine grows because I only do wash n gos too..except winter time I keep it twisted or braid it with no braiding hair
I’ve been doing nothing but wash n gos for a month and BOY did my hair change!!! It’s always curly now! And I never even have to use a brush
When I was a twist out queen I thought my hair was severely damaged, in reality is was just “confused”
Beautiful. I am a WNG natural and leant from you that using deep conditioning every wash day is key. I have very long healthy hair and I colour it. So thank you for sharing gems. Been following you for a while.
This was great! Can you do a video on the stretching in more detail and a week in maintaining the stretch, and any tips for shorter lengths? I'm glad you made a point about not rinsing out the 3 in 1. Makes soooo much sense!
Used wash and goes to transition, then i big chopped and grew even more hair the last two years !!! Thank you for the tips because you put me on my journey & im so grateful to know my hair now 🙏🏽
I hearing more and more naturals retaining lots of length with wash n gos. ♥️
I also started using my leave ins as deep conditioner..game freakin changer. I just deep condition and leave it in. One less step and one less product to buy. Many leave ins and deep conditioners have the same ingredients anyway. 🤷🏾♀️
Sounds like a “true” wash-n-go to me. I am all in! Thanks for the vid!

I know this video is "old", but I totally agree. I always thought wash n go's weren't for me, but I just needed more water. Twist outs broke my ends off and required too much manipulation.
