@@Fernanufret hA! that makes me feel better about not being able to hit those scales yet like you do at 1:01. I'm at the point where I know some scales but I am not quite able to do improvising on them and playing them super fast. Any practice tips to be able to shred back and forth on them?
@@the_Wolf_directly Don't worry about being super fast or knowing "all the scales", just make sure that what you practice is correct, and bit by bit speed things up. I've learned from my teacher that something can't be done slow, so at some point, even if you stumble, you have to practice fast. But, don't worry about that now. Here on RUclips you can find backing tracks for specific tonalities so you can practice your scales and improv. Look at your scale and identify the notes on the strings before you start practicing and bit by bit go between them, even if they are far apart. Keep rocking and practicing!! :D Happy New Year!

The thing that amazes me most about you is your ability to take a heavier song and still make it rock on an acoustic. That and that cool snap sound you do with your strumming. Every time I think a song can't be done on an acoustic, you prove me wrong. Don't ever retire.

He would sit in a deer stand and listen to it on headphones. I used to have to kick his tree to get his attention. He never killed any deer. :)
