she actually improved so much!!! you can see they're more confident in their mechanics and that some of the seeds planted by bogur nation started to grow in their brain like an invasive species, thats awesome!
the jump in skill from last video to this one is actually so huge. even in the first just 3 minutes you can see so much improvement in decision making and when to go in and jump and use bubble etc.
Long post ahead: I know I'm a rando on the internet, and I'll try to show up to the next live VOD, but here's some pointers because this is just patterns I've seen across the ranks: Silver players have solid enough mechanics. They lack awareness, both positional and situational. If you're wanting them to be more solid as things go, encourage cover. You've taught great small details like wall jumps, short jumping, the melee on landing, but the impact of these small tricks varies between players. Keynote for the above: If they do not position well due to lack of situational awareness, yes the obvious answer is fixing their situational awareness, but the first thing I personally would encourage to teach so you build up their confidence is what a cycle is and how to prepare for each one. For example, since this is a Winston coaching series: you coach that their cycle starts with their bubble, not their jump. Yes you've drilled this, but no bubble means no jump unless it is jump out, and usually you use bubble on landing. There are exceptions, but establish cycles. It is a universal fundamental concept that applies to all tanks. IE: Mauga no E? No go. Rein no armor/shield? No go. D.Va No dm? No go, etc. Always reiterate yes there's exceptions to the above rules but it's important to establish good fundamentals before you establish the intricacies of the mechanics. You're doing fantastic and I would be far from surprised if this player has made it to gold already. Concept example for any players reading this that aren't Bogur and want to climb: All tanks use cover, it doesn't matter who you play. You use cover because it allows for staging and/or fight planning. You have default positions, IE: the corners of chokes like the door on Circuit to third point, or the Eich bridge, or the corner by statue on Kings row. All of these positions allow for quick rotations to the pressed angle. If I took a top-down cross section of kings row, and explained it as follows, I'm fairly certain anyone can use it well. You play that corner on kings row near statue outside of mini room on point because if they pressure mini-room as a team, main through choke, statue or otherwise, you as Winston can pressure these angles with your cleave damage from primary, or jump to cover these angles with isolation being the goal. Scenario example: If the enemy team is rotating around statue to set up angles to dive/poke/brawl, you can isolate on the rotation their supports, putting pressure on them and forcing resources while not being at major risk because you'd use bubble to prevent damage. It does of course vary if they're actually moving as one unit or split rotation, but it's an example. Scenario example 2: If they rotate into mini room, you can hold the cleave damage and build primal quickly. You also allow yourself to watch for rotations and enable your team to flank and kill-box them. Scenario example 3: If they push main, you can give some space to let their tank isolate themselves and turn it into a "Who kills the backline first" scenario by bubbling supports off. Even one kill can change entire fights. LAST THING OF NOTE (I know this is long, but please bear with me, I apologize): you are very wise in the ways of conversation. Talk to, not at. A lot of this video is doing what I do and it's great. You're engaging the person you're coaching by making them answer questions/ask questions. However, don't forget to let them/encourage them to question your explanations. If they understand the concepts at fundamental levels, the concepts can be applied more openly. Sorry for the long post
4:00 Bogur has actually become a really good teacher! I guess if you have a pipil like her, who doesn't know that you can mele in jump you have to become better 🤣🤣🤣
if i wasnt poor id dream of obtaining the Bingus Merch, instead i will hope that bogur decides to make a sequel to this series and maybe consider me as plat vtuber
I'm very curious too, but I also think that if they want to keep their identity secret i think it will be better for everyone for it to be kept secret.
