- I just want to thank this Amazing Bonsai community for all the messages and support in my first vid back. Was truly heartwarming to see soo much support.
Seth has maybe 10 trees that i will continue to develop in his memory and his love for life and all things.
In this video i will be working on his Pomegranate Bonsai
I was so moved by your first video back Sam and watching you has always been a pleasure, but means even more now that you're allowing us to share in Seth's memory through these living trees. What a privilege you give us, thank you.
Seth is in a lot of hearts mate because of your channel. I loved watching him. ❤
I've planted a tree at home in our memorial garden for Seth. Golden Glow Pohutakawa, catches the late arvo sun and glows like crazy. Sending love to you guys mate.
Hey Sam I do not normally comment however seeing you back and what you and your family are going through , I felt compelled. Like everyone one else in this community my thoughts have been with you and your family, I hope you all feel the love from the bonsai community.
When I was having a though time your videos gave me the relief I needed and helped we through, I hope getting back into it this gives you the relief support and time to heal.
Know that you have made a difference and helped others and we are here to support and help you.
Love your videos and great to see you back and as we say in NZ Kia Kaha (keep strong)
As before, thanks for sharing with us, especially the beginning part of the video. Happy to know comments have brought you some encouragement, as you have always encouraged so many of us through your videos. Keep fighting, and we look forward to any future updates you’re able to share.
Great seeing you at work Sam - just go at your own pace and the rest of the community will happily watch what you upload :)
✌well done jumping into this one, so early into your return, can't have been an easy choice, but you've done important work👍 glad you got to that front branch in the end, it was in my eyeline every turn of the tree😉 cheers Sam great to see you back sharing, made my week. 👍
You're a likeable guy, Sam. Seth was, too. People enjoy connecting with likeable folks, even just online, especially if they are interested in the same stuff we're interested in. And it's a cool tree, to boot.
What a great way to keep a small piece of Seth's memory alive. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thanks Sam, I really enjoyed your thought process with the tree, it's a nice gem!!!
Bloody beauuuuty I never can get anything with as fat of a trunk as the Aussie. It’s still just great to see you back working big man
Nice to see you back, Sam. I've genuinely missed your videos. You're an endearing young man and I wish you well. Your trees are truly special and your channel is unique in the bonsai space. I'm in the US but have followed AFL for years. I'll start cheering for Adelaide Power! Peace to your home.
This is so beautiful, you are a strong and wonderful man. Seth is smiling down proudly. :)
I appreciate the vids Sam and it's touching that your focusing on Seths trees.
"The more straight bits you get rid off, then the bit that didn't look that straight, and looked like had a bit of character, starts to look straight!"
This is gold!

Awesome work as always Sam 🌳❤️👍
This is a very nice looking Pom. Nice trunk on this tree. A beautiful tree to keep Seth's memory alive.
Have love your videos, such a down to earth guy!
So so sorry to hear about your wonderful boy Seth, he was a joy to watch!
Mate I never commented on the first video, but I'm glad to see you back. I could never imagine how hard it would of been for you. We are so proud of how strong you are and I think your little mate would be to.
I'll be watching every video again mate. You are the reason I got back into bonsai
19:00 It is certainly shaping up to being cool and gnarly. Seth would be happy, I reckon. Although he tended to cut less than you do! Bit like Nigel, I guess. Say "that will do", then make a few more cuts . . . Lovely to have you back. 🦋
Well done Sammy, very proud of you ❤. Someone wrote they could hear Sethy saying ‘no don’t cut that one’. Oh I can hear his little voice saying it too 🥹.
Great to see you posting again! 😊
Hope you keep strong! You will!!
Fantastic to have you back mate, another great tree, another great video. The bonsai community needs Aussie bonsai bloke. No pressure but hope you do more videos Sam...all the best..
You really are a strong guy and I hope that bonsai offers you some distraction. The inner wounds will never heal, but hopefully you can get out of the dark times a little. I hope you also know how much you give us with your videos. I really enjoy watching them and I just like your style.
I totally agree about cameras making a bit of an eyesore stand out. I think the same thing every time I see myself in a photo.
I liked your choices on the trimming, I thought they were all good. It makes me want to go out and get stuck into my trees too. But Ive forgotten what I am supposed to be cutting back at this time of year and what Im not allowed to trim. I guess its time for some research to refresh my memory. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love that you chose Seth's tree to work on. It looks great. Should be spectacular in Spring with all its new growth.
My Aunt walked in while I was watching this and wanted me to let you know she approves of your mug. She's a big Port Power supporter.
It was great to see another video from you. I'm glad all our messages on the last one were well received. Your right about the bonsai community being supportive.
Your thank you is good enough. No need to reply. We share your feelings.
Beautiful work on Seth's tree. Glad you cut those last 2 straight bits ...I wish you and your family nothing but comfort and strength 🥰
Great decisions and you’re right about it needing a different pot. Give us an update when she recovers a bit. Cheers Sam
It's good to see you back mate. We missed you. Thanks for continuing to share. The pomegranate turned out looking great. Looking forward to the next video.
Nioce one bloke!
That tree is really cool! Great cleanup and trim. I'm sure Seth is smiling wherever he is. Can hear him yelling "No, don't cut that one" ❤🩹❤ I know it's difficult. I couldn't imagine the feelings. Glad you can take comfort and support from the comments. Your family has a piece of our hearts too. Seth will never be forgotten here. Will you plant up another section of your property for him? Seth's own forest. Property must be filling in nicely now Eh? Thanks for coming back Sam. Stay strong.
The aussie dude will love it

If you can get a kitten so that your dogs will get acquainted to it, as the kitten grows, it will help keep the rats away. My cat and 2 strays that come for food, now I am rat free along with my 3 dogs. Just a thought.
