  • I just want to thank this Amazing Bonsai community for all the messages and support in my first vid back. Was truly heartwarming to see soo much support.
Seth has maybe 10 trees that i will continue to develop in his memory and his love for life and all things.
In this video i will be working on his Pomegranate Bonsai

I was so moved by your first video back Sam and watching you has always been a pleasure, but means even more now that you're allowing us to share in Seth's memory through these living trees. What a privilege you give us, thank you.

You're a likeable guy, Sam. Seth was, too. People enjoy connecting with likeable folks, even just online, especially if they are interested in the same stuff we're interested in. And it's a cool tree, to boot.

19:00 It is certainly shaping up to being cool and gnarly. Seth would be happy, I reckon. Although he tended to cut less than you do! Bit like Nigel, I guess. Say "that will do", then make a few more cuts . . . Lovely to have you back. 🦋

I totally agree about cameras making a bit of an eyesore stand out. I think the same thing every time I see myself in a photo.
I liked your choices on the trimming, I thought they were all good. It makes me want to go out and get stuck into my trees too. But Ive forgotten what I am supposed to be cutting back at this time of year and what Im not allowed to trim. I guess its time for some research to refresh my memory. Thanks for the inspiration.
