Oh my…shades of Alison Krauss on How Long. Dang….parts of” How Long” sounded like it would have fit perfectly on Raise The Roof, the newest Krauss/Plant album. That is one fine band! What have we got here? Jazz/bluegrass fusion? Prog bluegrass? I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything quite like this before. True original as far as I’ve heard.

Lee, must feel so good at the tail end of your travels and just sitting out there enjoying...Good for you ....and Thank you for all the great Vids on this tour.
Just wow..... Thank you so much for sharing this Lee.. This is why I love your posts. I have heard Sierra's name floating around here in Nashville for a bit, but never really checked her out before. I've never been a big follower of the Dead, but that song Black Muddy River she did some how hit me out of nowhere. Never heard that song before. As a musician (bass:) and music lover, I appreciate the effect it can have on emotions. I'm a grown ass 45 yo man, and for some reason a song I've never heard before really got me and made me tear up quite a bit. That doesn't happen a lot, but when it does it usually comes out of nowhere lol. Now I'm going to go down a rabbit hole and listen to a lot of Dead songs I probably overlooked, as well look up more of this wonderfully talented musician and singer. Your sharing of all kinds of music has made me a fan of people I've never heard of, and have even brought songs to my attention of artists that I'm a fan of but hadn't heard before. Thank you, sir!!!
It’s certainly inspiring music but the Bass is a bit low and the Bass Drum is too high in my opinion. Having said that it’s hard to judge without being in the room.
She going to be here in Templeton California in September, I’m definitely going to go. Thank you Lee for the video. Have a great day from San Luis Obispo.
Great show at ACL last night. All the way around, everything was great! It's been a long time since I've seen midnight and I'm paying for it today. It was worth it though!
I got to see her with Bela Fleck about a month ago. It was amazing, an entire band of people at her level. The first time I saw her was when she was about 13 performing in front of 75,000 people at Merlefest. She just keeps getting better.
Thank you, I always enjoy listening to what others want to share; it is how my music library expands. I remember Sierra Hull and her husband playing acoustic guitar from the tour last year but without the band. The last song a grateful dead tune was just wonderful. Good music is cumulative ✘
