    Nice to see your restoring some history. Yes I have one as a yard decoration it was my dad's. They used it with horses then converted it to be pulled with a tractor.
    Will be interested in seeing the finished product.

      Thats a great thing to have in your front yard, a family heirloom! This girl wont need much, Ive already got my parts list together to take to Ohio on my Amish visit. They still use these regularly so they have lots of parts! Thx for watching, Dave

    My grandparents had one just like that that I played on as a child. And of course she sold it when I was a teen for yard art. But I still have a hay rake,and a corn planted. I think the corn planter is a two row hawk. Maybe.

    Get all the rust off of the cutter bar or else you'll break the pitman arm. I learned this the hard way.

    Nice piece of history! I have one also. Where did you get the parts? I damaged mine last year. 😢 How did you determine the year?

    • @bdradley1
      @bdradley1  Год назад

      I got my parts up in Ohio from an Amish guy. His company is called Farmers Equipment. My email is in description of video, shoot me an email and I’ll make sure you get all his correct info. If you lay down at back of mower and look underneath on axle by toolbox, the date is stamped into frame. Mine was October 18, 1945. Look forward to hearing from you and thx for watching! Dave

    Where can l buy such a mower?

    • @bdradley1
      @bdradley1  Год назад

      If you are wanting an operational one to use the you need to go to any of the larger Amish communities and ask around. That’s what I did, but if your wanting a yard art then you can find them pretty much on any rural farmland just grown over with weeds.

    Where can I buy a machine like this?

    • @bdradley1
      @bdradley1  2 месяца назад +1

      @@FranciscoZuniga-l6j they are readily available in Amish communities of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The ones you find on marketplace and not complete and just yard art. If I had a direct contact I would pass it on but you just have to beat the streets and go to Amish auctions. Thx for watching.
