this is the only tutorial that's worked for me! yayy! i just had to make a tiny adjustment; instead of tieying from the base, i tied it a little more up, about an inch/ inch and half higher, then i did the rest as normal. thanks!

Thank you!! This is the only method that actually makes my long but really fine hair look like a thick messy bun. \ Most buns on me look way too small and thin, but this one actually looks nice.
I hated bumps in my hair too when i was younger! It was a nightmare for my mom to do my hair especially french braids 😂. she still teases me about it till this day.

There's really no reason to complicate things when you can achieve such a cute hairstyle with hardly any effort 😉 I love any hairstyle where the term "messy bun" is part of the description and one of my guilty pleasures is binge watching RUclips tutorials for messy buns so bring it on 😆

Thanks. I have thick, looong hair & the vids I've seen where you twist the hair around like a honey bun & elastic just doesn't work. I've been doing a balloon knot and then twisted tail up and through the knot. I'll try this one.

This only works for blondes because most blondes are light weight.
My hair is thick and heavy.
Each strand of my hair is the thickness of four strands of hers, so That AIN'T gonna work.
Double the rubber bands and the bun will slide to fall within minutes.
If you have Thicke heavy hair.. this is not gonna work
If you're hair is super long like mine this doesnt work well at all
