Carrie basically felt safe because; Doug loves food, and it doesn't take much to please him in the relationship, even though she either isnt a good cook, or she puts little effort into cooking for him. What made it even more funny is that Carrie acted like Doug was emotionally or physically cheating on her, with good food.

I've watched every show a million times. If I had to choose I think this is my favorite!
In a certain way i can understand Carrie, she has never been a good cook, she feels "helpless", her mother died when she was 15, she had to quit school to get a job, because her father was lazy, and couldnt keep a job, she is married to a man, who spends more time watching tv, than talking with his own wife, and when he isnt watching tv, he is out with his best friend, so i cant blame carrie, for her bitterness and frustration, all she does is work, and fight with her father.
