    Are there any discussions about the possible relationship between the Brahman and Abraxas (the Gnostic idea, not sure how the correct spelling is in english, i believe there are variants in the Greek) that I could look into, or is this a topic that has yet to be covered?

    I would have to ask you where relativeness fits into this? You say we are infinite but infinite always implies 1 more. If your conscious self is relative to an opposite then we can encompass infinity within a reality we can experience. would infinite be a puddle or an ocean and how could you ever approach the maximum? If you approach this with relativeness it shows why this moment is infinite now while I have not reached a maximum.

    What which separates Atman from Brahman! Is it correct to say what constitutes a wave is Atman and the ocean is Brahman? Confusing!.

      Rajendra Rajasingam, This analogy is meant to demonstrate that the Atman (in its individual aspect, which is merely apparent) is not separate from Brahman, just as a wave is not separate or apart from the ocean! The word "wave" or say "foam" or say "bubble" are merely names and forms given to the water in its different manifestations! They do not exist apart from the water; and are in fact water only! By the same token, the embodied Atman is Brahman, when all the adjuncts ('anaatma" or non-self) such as the body, mind, intellect, ego, chittam, etc., are sublated on the dawn of knowledge!
