The closed cartridge fork fells absolutely brilliant to me I did back the compression down to clicks and slowed down the rebound the same, that seemed to be the ticket overall but the standard settings were better when speeds increased on open tracks.
Nice video. Just saw a 24 TX300 on my dealership’s floor. This is my next bike. Not a orange fan. Gonna get the Rockstar graphics. Not a fan of gray and neon yellow plastic. UFO plastic sells white fenders, white fork guards and black radiator shrouds. Going to get the Nihilo separate start / stop buttons and the radiator cap removal tool. FMF blue titanium muffler also 👍
Trail looks fun! Hard to judge forks running higher tire pressures. Consider Bridgestone or Michelin UHD tubes at around 12 psi give or take.... if you haven't already. Thank you for posting! Enjoy your new ride!
I’d say give it to the 10 hour mark on the meter and those forks should be fully broke in. Bushings are still a little stiff still and that tends to make things in the valving feel a little harsh still.
They have interviewed a heap of top suspension specialist and the break in period is less than a half hour and arguably doesn't make a difference at that, top race teams themselves don't even run forks 10 hours without a service.
@@kaveh1836 don't speak to soon, I've had 6 of them now and if I get to cocky and think I can use all they have I come back to reality real quick if I'm real lucky it's without a trip to the hospital lol, ride on dude 👍
Simply bad ass! Congratulations on getting such an awesome bike. Can’t wait to get out there soon!
Ty buddy.
Stick a Scott’s gold nugget on top of that triple clamp. I’ve been riding with them for so long I don’t know what it feels like without one👍🏻🇺🇸
Me too!

Always go with tubeless system on my bikes..waiting on backorder 😩.
@@SWFlowseeker perfect. I thought the UHD tubes would be a good option while waiting for the TubeLiss

The guy at Kreft moto says there's no such thing as "break in".

Are you in high desert Victorville area ?
Outside Albuquerque, NM
Forks need to be broken in too what's your weight ? I'm 220 lbs expert rider and mine feel great
The air fork will work just as well in that environment.
I like my air forks better for out there is desert
Those forks should soak up edges better.
Is this too much bike for a beginner. I just bought one as my first dirt bike and people are saying that was a bad move
The great thing about a 300 is it has all types of power its as mild or wild as you like 👍
@@karlmason6145 update, it wasn’t too much bike lol

What is the difference between the TX and TE ?
Different gearing, softer suspension and lights on the TE
You can pin it, the factory redlines them when put together 😊
Wowww
Stock gearing?
Yep
@@SWFlowseeker I think that's gonna be too high in my area.
What’s your body weight?
I’m about 150
What is your height if you don’t mind me asking?
@@bradleymuha4861
I’m 5’10”
you should dial in your new forks before comparing them to others
They were dialed in…and I’ve had about 15 dirt bikes in the past 10 years. I’m qualified to share my thoughts I believe
@SWFlowseeker they clearly aren't dialed in !!!
Looks like way to much is coming back to your bars ,
Thx for watching
I slowed down rebound, that helped a bit. Gonna go with a softer spring rate also
It's a great bike but get it set up for you softer springs damping what ever. That front end is giving you way to much feed back through those bars
Unless you are super light clicker adjustment will be better and cheaper than lighter fork springs
It's a more predictable fork than I've had before, and predictable with no Stange things is faster!!!
