My little sister sent me this video to show me the kind of stuff her favorite streamers get up to. Not gonna lie, I teared up when the two kids started talking about running away. Hearing one child tell another not to give up on a crazed, dangerous adult that they used to depend on-that’s just gutwrenching. Every other older person watching this knows what I mean; there’s nothing worse than seeing children take up responsibilities that they should never even have been involved with. Lil sis has assured me that this is pretty dramatized, and considering how much mad cackling I hear from her bedroom, I’m assuming this is much more dramatic that the actual events (it’s Minecraft!). It’s still very impressive, though, that even in such a simplistic medium, theater like this can still take shape.

i think dream's actually become the real villain. he's playing god -- giving tommy the supplies to kill anyone who opposes him, giving wilbur tnt to blow up his own server . . . he's the omnipotent power here, the king above all. his motives seem mercenary more than anything -- _how can _*_i_*_ benefit? who's side shows the most promise? which side is so broken it will surrender everything in allegiance to me?_ this becomes apparent when wilbur swears to be his vassal, and when dream denies tommy's attempt at stopping wilbur before he does something reckless. he's also trying to manipulate technoblade, the anarchist, further proving that, in actuality, he has no side. 12.6 EDIT: this aged like fine wine 2.1 EDIT: how the fuck did i come up with this and how the fuck was i right

No, he was looking in the wrong place. There’s a video after the festival where we see Wilbur get THIS CLOSE to pushing it, but he doesn’t. Tommy and quality talk him out of it. He leaves the button there and promises tommy he’ll try his plans first. But the button is still there, waiting
Everyone calling dream the side character but hes controlling them like a god, giving Wilbur the tnt he wanted, giving tommy the armor to kill anyone who opposed him, hes the real villain. This becomes even more apparent when dream STOPS tommy from taking Wilbur's tnt, and Wilbur being his "vessel"
I see him more as the god of dream smp, he created it. So when someone needs desperate help like Wilbur, he goes to dream because he knows dreams can help him. So in conclusion I think dream is there when people become desperate or go to his help, but that’s just my opinion.

Honestly, Willbur has just proven, that J'Schlatt was right to banish him. I mean, people don't really give him enough credit, Schlatt IS the smartest person on the server. The moment Techno joined the server, he instantly came up with a plan to destroy any trust between him and the other rebels. The moment he became the president, he knew exactly who needs to be banished to secure his rule. The moment he was killed by Technoblade together with Tubbo and Quackity, and Tommy jumped in, he knew exactly what was the best course of action: "Everybody go after Tommyinnit!" Unless Manberg gets blown up, or Dream bans him from the server, Schlatt IS going to win.

i know it probably doesnt go that deep but I just realized something. Whenever wilbur is talking to tommy, he has his hands on his shoulders, arms, or face most of the time. I think it kinda shows that even though wilbur seems to be the villain now, its like he's reaching out and needing some kind of closer still. it was probably unintentional but I just thought it was cool to point that out
He really walks this fine line between intimidating/menacing and being a straight-up call for help. You know he's dangerous, but you still want to be there for him somehow.
The way you animated and added the music made this so intense. I could feel Tommy's fear and hear it tremble in his voice, especially after 1:11, where Wilbur exploits and manipulates Tommy's emotions so effectively. I can feel Wilbur's desperation. Nothing unsettles me more than the way Wilbur ruffles Tommy's hair at 1:44. It's all done so well. I could point out the symbolism, colors, all that, but I don't even know where to start. This is so good. I honestly think this animatic captured the intensity and horror of Wilbur's turn better than any others. You made me notice things about Tommy's reactions, too, which the visuals helped. You showed the blatant emotional manipulation. All the stuff with Dream and Tubbo, Wilbur being in control of the situation, Tommy's internal confluct, it's all so good. I can't give enough praise.

I'm not fully away of what kind of RP it is, does it have a set time line of events? or are they all just playing a role and there is no end goal that ends it all..

I was going to comment HOLY SHIT, but seems like everyone’s saying it. But yanno what? HOLY SHIT! That was AMAZING WTF. I don’t even follow dream, wilbur, or any of them.... but I kept getting choked up and gasping cause of this. THE INTENSITY, GODDAMN, IT WAS INTENSE. You took all of the elements and made them work! from the placement of dialogues, cuts to the early days, to the music-you nailed this. Seriously. You did. Once again, amazing job, thank you so much for making this and making my day. Keep at it.
SO MANY BEAUTIFUL FRAMES WAAAA- I'm flabbergasted with how someone could make something so miraculously dramatic, and touching while using clips from MINECRAFT STREAMS. The hard work and effort you put into this definitely shows. Whether it be the slight alterations in expressions or the variety of perspectives or how everything just feels so a l I v e and real. EVERYTHING THROUGH 1:24-1:50 WAS HEART WRENCHING, and my god you made Wilbur so expressive to the point where it hits home the 'unhinged' vibe. Genius. AND don't even get me started when he gets physical with Tommy. . .that was truly the work of some skilled choreographing. (2:41 gave me chills as well, Wilbur looks so smug and intimidating and I want to punch him and give him a hug him all at the same time-) (On another note, I'm also in love with your style and the designs for each character, you can clearly see who everyone is with just a glance!) To keep it short-this honestly was one of the most engaging and emotional animatics I've ever watched, I can't even describe h o w because I'd be here an entire week rambling on about each aspect of what makes this so ASTOUNDING. i think dream's actually become the real villain. he's playing god -- giving tommy the supplies to kill anyone who opposes him, giving wilbur tnt to blow up his own server . . . he's the omnipotent power here, the king above all. his motives seem mercenary more than anything -- _how can _*_i_*_ benefit? who's side shows the most promise? which side is so broken it will surrender everything in allegiance to me?_ this becomes apparent when wilbur swears to be his vassal, and when dream denies tommy's attempt at stopping wilbur before he does something reckless. he's also trying to manipulate technoblade, the anarchist, further proving that, in actuality, he has no side.

I mean, people don't really give him enough credit, Schlatt IS the smartest person on the server. The moment he became the president, he knew exactly who needs to be banished to secure his rule.
The moment he was killed by Technoblade together with Tubbo and Quackity, and Tommy jumped in, he knew exactly what was the best course of action: "Everybody go after Tommyinnit!"
Unless Manberg gets blown up, or Dream bans him from the server, Schlatt IS going to win.

The way you animated and added the music made this so intense. I could feel Tommy's fear and hear it tremble in his voice, especially after 1:11, where Wilbur exploits and manipulates Tommy's emotions so effectively. I can feel Wilbur's desperation. Nothing unsettles me more than the way Wilbur ruffles Tommy's hair at 1:44. It's all done so well. I could point out the symbolism, colors, all that, but I don't even know where to start. This is so good. I honestly think this animatic captured the intensity and horror of Wilbur's turn better than any others. You made me notice things about Tommy's reactions, too, which the visuals helped. You showed the blatant emotional manipulation. All the stuff with Dream and Tubbo, Wilbur being in control of the situation, Tommy's internal confluct, it's all so good. I can't give enough praise.

I'm flabbergasted with how someone could make something so miraculously dramatic, and touching while using clips from MINECRAFT STREAMS. The hard work and effort you put into this definitely shows. Whether it be the slight alterations in expressions or the variety of perspectives or how everything just feels so a l I v e and real. EVERYTHING THROUGH 1:24-1:50 WAS HEART WRENCHING, and my god you made Wilbur so expressive to the point where it hits home the 'unhinged' vibe. Genius. AND don't even get me started when he gets physical with Tommy. . .that was truly the work of some skilled choreographing. (2:41 gave me chills as well, Wilbur looks so smug and intimidating and I want to punch him and give him a hug him all at the same time-)
(On another note, I'm also in love with your style and the designs for each character, you can clearly see who everyone is with just a glance!)
To keep it short-this honestly was one of the most engaging and emotional animatics I've ever watched, I can't even describe h o w because I'd be here an entire week rambling on about each aspect of what makes this so ASTOUNDING.

I'm still dancing around DSMP animations/animatics, and I'm very thankful for finding new ones every now and then, because no matter what went down in recent months (and what may go down in the future), the streams, the characters roleplayed, and the amazing story put together by fans and CCs is what gets me going, even to this day.

That was absolutely amazing. My gosh, the whole set-up was so well done. The music was perfect, the voice clips really told the story of Wilbur's descent into madness and paranoia, and the art was just GREAT. Each frame was so well drawn, and it's so expressive. I love how you drew all the characters, and the storyline of everything. The way you expressed moods with colours and rough shadows was phenomenal, too. I can't find a single bad thing about this, it's just so good. It really feels like a movie, holy crap. I'm stunned, this is so well done. Keep up the amazing work :]

Here before this really blows up, holy SHIT THIS WAS AMAZING! Honestly it's hard to remember that this is all improv roleplaying sometimes, and also that this all started because Wilbur wanted to sell drugs. Also the color pallets, the increasing tension in the music, the voice lines, the art style, the EVERYTHING of this video was just so phenomenal!! I want to say more but I honestly can't find the words for it

CHILLS! God everything looked so good! The colors and the expressions were so crisp and worked so well! I loved Vilber and his physical interactions with Tommy, grabbing him and pressuring him. The art style is perfect for this too! Everything was dynamic and flowed smoothly into each "scene". The voice clips were pieced together wonderfully! Such an amazing job!!!
