Hi.. Next time if u came again Pangkor especially teluk nipah dont forget to try ayam goreng paidu.. laksa mee, mee kerang laksa goreng.. Our place is food of paradise.. But we dont have seafood...
What a coincidence, Viv! I fell in love with 'call to prayer' the first time I heard it in Istanbul! Was coming from the Blue Mosque and was sung back and forth, like call and response, with another local mosque. I felt hypnotized! Really special experience, and it varies from country to country! Where did you first hear it? ♥♥
eat rice with fork?😅😅 we don't use fork to eat rice, we only use spoon .it's easier and a fork just to assist the spoon to dig the rice in. here in Malaysia table knife only use for western cuisine . sorry for my bad English😊😊
Ahhhhh... Then using my fork to eat rice must look unusual! I've always been confused about the fork and spoon thing. Thanks for helping me understand, and your English is perfectly understandable. Thank you so much. 🙏
@@travelandtash it's a bit weird to us😆 but it's okay because you're are not Malaysian. usually malay eat mixed rice using their fingers. next time u should try our way to eat rice😉. thanks for replying me
@@blueberrypeanut54 I'm gonna do that! Eat mixed rice with my fingers! I tried that using roti bread in India, but never mixed rice directly without using some kind of bread! Sounds amazing though! Thank you :)
@@travelandtash nice to hear that from you Tasha..i think you need to learn it first before you try. maybe Mark Wiens channel can help you how to enjoy Malaysian foods as we Malaysian do 😊😉😉

So amazing, right?!!! I actually had a chance to feed these birds later in stay! And actually captured on video 😊. I'll be publishing it soon! Thank you for your support, Unity ♥🤗
Fantastic Vid Tash, there was the cute bird again 😀 🐦, and the Nipah Hut, so cool, what was the bathroom like? Thinking of what you said about the old music they play, they do that in Spain as well in a lot of places. And very yummy food by the look of it 😃
Yes, tia Angela 😊. The bird is called a Lesser Hornbill, and in an upcoming video, you'll see me feeding them! It was incredible!!! Bathroom was super bssic at Nazri Nipah Camp. The place was definitely rustic with no frills, but sometimes it's nice to be around that when you live in a concrete urban metropolis like I do in Seoul. So Spanish bars still still play lots of oldies, haha. The food is one of the best parts about visiting Malaysia, tia. I wish I had spent more time focusing on that! 🤗🤗🤗
Hello Tasha. Your experience there at the restaurant was awesome. You're right about the music and the utensils, and yes, it's kind of the same in The Philippines since Malaysia is a neighboring country. The spoon usually doubles as a knife and the fork is primarily used to push food into the spoon. Anyway, I didn't realize you had written two books. Would you like to be our guest on my other channel, AuthorStory? If so, let me know. Thanks!
Hello (what should I call you??)... Yes, I noticed that about the spoon the first time I visited the Philippines! Yes, two books. One on love and the other on food. Can you send me a link to your author channel? I'd love to check it out and get back to you. Thank you kindly. 🙏
maam im sorry to say but they rip you off. I live in malaysia and with those kind of accomadation we got far better deals for that price. We're locals here and went on vacay there. Here's a secret they want you to know. The local people there will automatically charge you higher for staying there just for being foreigners. Nothing againts you just how it is to all foreigners that come there. Really should go around with a local to get the good pricing around cus we know whats up.

@@travelandtash I do not think that particular one had chocolate in it, though I can't be sure. Different people make their own twists on the same dessert. Some people put rose syrup and some people do add liquid chocolate. I think it's most likely it's the malacca sugar's own distinct taste as it's not overwhelmingly sweet like refined sugar and can have other taste as well.

Sounds of wind and sea waves together hearing the azan (call of prayer) is so beautiful. I'm a Muslim, it's the best moment. Nice video. Tq
I agree. So beautiful to hear the call to prayer together with the natural sound of the sea. 🌊 Thank you. 🙏
