Gittin Jr. Is nuts. If you ever get a chance to see him live you should. it looks like he is about to crash at all times. You never see him use the hand brake. He always appears to be on the gas. Even the Japanese guys fear him. Wonderful showmanship. Always fun to watch.

Thanks for making such a quality video because many people look down on drifting and ignore the fact that it is a sport! Drifting needs to be looked into more I will start doing more research into drifting so I can make my dreams of becoming a formula drifter come true!

Thought I invented drifting when I was 9 in 1971, with a two ton chevy truck. on ice. guess not. most of my classmates and I drifted our pickups for years growing up. I can do donuts with my 9900 International but not with the triple axle timpte yet....need lots of room for practice. Seems it has really evolved lol

15:29 Exactly that's the truth that's similarly I was introduced into drifting from drifting with a razer electric go kart made for drifting now I am checking out RUclips videos going to do my research save my money and then get a nice car practice at a track cross country then see if I can get into some competitions and enjoy myself while I am drifting! Anything is possible everything starts from the simplest thing!

The American V8's are just so much more reliable and have so much more torque than the Japanese Turbo 4's. It is hard for them to be competitive. After Gittin crushed the Japanese cars in Japan they had to rethink their game plan in America at least. The Rx7's stick with the Rotaries for the most part but they need tons of boast and nitro and a skilled driver to keep up with the American V8's. I miss the old days of not knowing what was under the hood.

daigo seito's 1000hp JZX100 isent what i call low power. but i get your point american drifting is more torque based and more smoke for show. japanese focus more on the perfect line and technique.
