  • Hotel Icon, Sukhumvit Soi 2, Bangkok Thailand, Bangkok Hotel Review
Hotel Icon Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 2 in the heart of Bangkok minutes away from Soi 4 and the BTS station and Plentchit Plaza. 4 star hotel with a 3 star price with great service, great clean modern rooms, a decent roof top pool, gym, quiet location and a budget price for Bangkok hotels in the heart of Bangkok. Enjoy this Bangkok hotel review video in Bangkok Thailand.

I stayed at the Icon. It's a great spot. I'm going to stay there in coming up in April.

Thanks buddy, we have stayed there with the lads a few years ago. It was nice, had a great afternoon around the pool. Great location. We used to stay at was then the ‘Grand Majestic’ which is now the Hilton you walked passed.

Dude you and I are identical. D-Hotel in Pattaya and Hotel Icon in Bangkok. Both Great Locations

The problem with shortcut is that is closes at like 6PM or something like that and the security at Hotel Maison wanted to charge 200THB to cut through there. The walk all the way around is a deal-breaker for me. I paid the extra $10USD a night for the Ibis Styles on Soi 4 instead of going with Hotel Icon. Well worth the cost for the convenience.

nice video, thanks. is this hotel guest friendly?

  • @simulacrae

It's a good hotel, but ever since they closed the shortcut by Annies and that Mexican place the whole Soi is just a long dreary walk. It would be ok if there was SOMETHING else on that Soi but it's just a driveway to some hotels.

If you want a hotel with a great pool in Chiang Mai go to Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel. I remember the Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok had a large hotel but that was 20 years ago.

Have you stayed/reviewed the August Suites in Pattaya?

  • @roberth7894

Are you noticing the poor air quality? The numbers have been high lately. I'm curious if you notice.
