TONY! My goodness you are doing a WONDERFUL job being on camera. I really was surprised when you guys were talking about that because you both are so real, transparent and welcoming. I appreciate what you both bring to the table. Keep on keeping on! 💕
Hello Kimberly! Over the years, I have become such an introvert... it was brought about when my disability started taking over. I used to be such a ham, believe it or not! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
Tony your doing great bud 👍 xx You guys are so natural together ❤ 💙 xx Can't wait for all your videos even if it is 100 I would watch them all 😊 xx so glad were friends xx 🙏🏴❤
Hi Mary! Thanks for the encouragement and support! I hope to be free from my camera shyness waaaayyyy before the 100th video. Take care and I'm so glad that we're friends as well!
I love that yall are so transparent! I love listening to the both of you. Your love and admiration for each other shows! Please don't get discouraged with youtube growing pains Tony! As I commented on your last video, I could listen to Tony talk for hours. Such a calming presence! Love you guys!
Hi Angela! Thank you so much for your kindness and support! I'm realizing more and more as Jen and I work on our channel, that the pressure I'm feeling is all self-imposed. I just feel so strongly that the videos we're trying to create and the community we're trying to pull together can be something truly amazing! Replying to comments has really been a source of happiness for me since we began. Have a great day!
Please keep making videos. They don't have to be perfect. I enjoy people who are real. I am in an inter-abled relationship and I've commented before. I am encouraged to see other happy couples. I am pretty new to this.
I fully understand the guilt, my partner is paraplegic after an accident 8 years ago and sometimes it’s exhausting. I always feel like there is no time left for me to just relax, I also have older children and have to juggle who I even answer first ! I occasionally also feel frustrated with how much longer things take and then feel hugely guilty that I even allow that fleeting thought to cross my mind. Even normal relationship frustrations make me feel guilty now. Love your channel, you’re a great couple. Also wanted to say how amazing it is to see slightly more mature people in an interabled couple, as so many are interabled RUclipsrs are much younger. As a person in my 40’s I really relate to the things you say x
Hello and thank you so much for checking out our video! The topic of guilt is so deep and vast, it's definitely going to keep popping up in future videos... I do feel that it's part of the grieving process. I'm so glad you found our channel! Hope you're having a wonderful day!
When my husband was disabled and I didn't even want to shower in case he needed me, in the end my mum came to help so I could do things that were normal to everyone else. I can totally relate its just so hard xx
Hello Carolyn! There are so many times that I wish I could just get a break to do something that would literally take one second to do. The “simple” things that I can manage to do still take way more time that I would like to spend. The biggest lesson learned here for me has been patience. You are not alone. Stay strong.
@@jennyandtony yes having a great day. Finally got my first scooter and waiting on my electric chair to get approved by Medicare. So much to learn about learning to get moving again. Thanks for being a part of encouraging me to get my butt in gear.
Love you guys Keep it up! this is soooo needed Kind of a coming out of the "closet" issues. Many people with FSHD do not talk about, but need to to heal and to grow I total understand the "guilty" My husband has FSHD and uses AFO's on both legs so we go for daily walks, but slow... I do feel that "healthy" guilt. I can just get up and go, take the dog around the block and back in 15. Also you touched on testing... We have two child who we never tested due to the "pre existing" insurance issues back when they were young. .adult now, 35 male & 31 female who have just been tested since both are starting a family Neither carry the gene!!! which was such great news. But if they had a whole different guilt there. Keep this up, our community needs this refreshing honesty of what we all go through! The good, bad and ugly Stay Safe!
Hi Kathy! Thank you so much for checking us out and all of your comments! You and your husband are definitely one of the main reasons Jen and I are doing our channel! One of my biggest hopes for our channel is one of building a solid community! It’s a lot to put our lives out there on show, but I feel deeply that it’s important! I never knew I had these feelings in me, but they’re there, growing stronger every day and with every video made and comment left. Connection is so important and something we should never lose, especially when isolation can feel like the only natural option when living with a disability. Integration and involvement are just as important too! This is something that I’ve been trying to learn myself. Up until I had met Jenny, my isolation was something I had fed for too long. It’s another face for my guilt and it can be such a heavy anchor. This is such an important topic, and we’re definitely planning on making a video about this! I’m so happy that both of your children don’t have the gene! I’m always reminded that there’s so much good and more to look forward to that it makes the bad and ugly times more bearable... but this is life! Have a great day and stay strong!
Hi Cora! Thank you for lifting my spirit! RUclips is definitely hard work, but I will get better! I hope you enjoy our latest video! Take care and have a great day!

Hi Netty! Thank you for the boost of confidence! Once I get a better handle on my camera shyness, it might be fun to watch all of my 'deer in headlights' moments put together for a laugh!... (though it feels it might be a while, lol) Have a great day!
