the yarn holder is the most practical that I see. lot of easier ways to turn tube straps and measure out your edges. taping down the circle was also a clever idea, you can use any size circle you need.
I love watching “hacks” that when I see them, I immediately know someone has been thinking + I know without a doubt they will be very useful. Brilliant! Thank you! 😌

Loved the yarn couching trick
I'm trying that. It's fun. Alaa! I have a couching foot, but it would be great if you are using multiple yarns wh would be too big to go through the doohickey on the foot.
Такие полезные советы! Благодарю за Вашу работу!
Ide yang kreatif, terimakasih.
Very nice tricks
Хорошие советы для тех, кто хочет усложнить себе жизнь.
Why do you say that?
@@ziporaperel6019 coz there are actually more convenient and easier methods to do those things. Plus, all machines already come with an adjustable attachment that helps to keep an equal distance between parallel seems... so gluing an empty thread spool that can detach any moment a d that blocks the view of the needle is completely unnecessary. That is why I always say, study the manual that came with your sewing machine and you will be surprised by how much you learn. Also, turning out the tube using a spool is more complicated than using a crochet needle or using the string method. With the string method you can easily turn out very narrow tubes for spaghetti straps or even smaller things like loops for decorative buttons.
There different ways to do everything in this world. This is one of them. If your machine doesn’t have a gauge for distance between stitching then this is a good idea. Most beginning sewing machines don’t come with a lot of feet. Also feet are expensive. I think I’d maybe make a mark so if it slipped I wouldn’t have to guess. My vintage machine doesn’t have a foot to stitch on trims. My new one does. Every machine is different. Fabric that Would need the feed dogs dropped, and lessen the foot tension, on my new machine, I know will go right through on my 1962 machine. Everyone on this channel has a different machine or machines. I’ve worked my way through 5 machines in 45 years. I have 3 of the 5. I kept them because they each do something very well.

The tube hack is much easier if you seal the end, pull the tube you have made onto the plastic tube and the use some thing thinner to push the fabric through. Xx

Using something like this would be very handy when sewing picntucks or sewing with the elastic thread for shirring that you demonstrated in another video. I love the idea of using something round for achieving even stitching around curved edges. When it comes to using 'quick un-picks' I'm always scared that I'm going to accidentally cut the underneath fabric as well as the stitches even when I use the end with the 'knob' on the end. Is there a trick to holding the fabric or using the unpicking tool? I was introduced to using them when I did sewing class in school 55+ years ago, yet I'm still so scared of cutting the fabric that I still unpick one stitch at a time. I love how you used the nylon thread from the toothbrush to thread the needle. I couldn't see how you did it until I went to full screen on my tablet, but it was really clear and an excellent idea once I could see it! Thanks for another great video. 😀 btw I never throw out old toothbrushes as they come in so very handy for so many things around the house.
Thanks for watching my Video 🥰 Happy new year 🎉
Super Tipps , danke dafür 😀
@Wendy Maxwell I also unpick a stitch at a time for the same reason. One tip I learned is to cut through the stitching about every inch or two with the seam ripper, then unpick the stitches between. It goes faster because you’re pulling out short lengths of thread instead of a longer and longer length as you go. Sorry that doesn’t actually answer your question about how to do it like in the video, but hope it helps.
5cal
Wendy, you are using the ripper correctly with that red end so fabric doesn’t rip. Might I suggest you just sew some lengths of scrap fabric and practice pushing the seam ripper along the length. I also unpick every 4th stitch and pull it apart. Another is every second or third stitch on one side only then pull the bobbin thread.
Excelente ideas y recomendaciones de costura, gracias por compartir 👍🤗
Wow how clever
Thank you 😊
So clever!
Ottimo grazie
Another useful tool for those bits left after stitch ripping is a lint roller
Thank you so much
The seam allowance guide hack was stellar as was the yarn guide holder, but the turner tube looked too time consuming and the toothbrush bristle needle threader is ok..guess it would work in a pinch, but I have needle threaders on hand. But very good hack ideas. 👍
Love watching your videos, you always have very helpful tips. You are very talented; thanks so much for sharing!
