Hey guys, I have released Spellbound Caves II, check it out at: vechsdavion.com/super-hostile-maps/ And watch my dev com here: ruclips.net/video/fAVbDzv4Yrk/видео.html
How cyan team lost: 1. Millbee went in to the nether alone and Vechs killed him (6-1=5 players left on cyan) 2. Avidya left the group in the nether and BTC killed him (5-1=4 players left on cyan) 3. Anderps and mcgamer rushed in to BTC and Vechs like fools, and they didn't wait for seth and pakratt. Vechs's lava bucket + Vechs + BTC killed Anderps and MC (4-2=2 players left on cyan) 4. Seth rush in to BTC and Vechs, and Pakratt is trying to shoot BTC and Vechs to help Seth, but hits Seth and kills him (2-1=1 player left on cyan) 5. Vechs and BTC is hiding and healing up. Pakratt is attacking, but Vechs is up to 24 health and kills Pakratt (1-1=0 players left on cyan) 6. Red team wins by playing strategically and not be derping around and suiciding as cyan did.
This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill Fifteen percent concentrated power of will Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
UHC means no regen, vechs and btc did some switch thingy so that THEY CAN REGEN :/ if they can regen why even play UHC. when anderz regened he asked avidya to hit him so he will go back to the health he had. So was that win really fair?
Putting aside my last post, I want you all to remember the NUMBER ONE RULE in UHC. *_YOU ARE NOT JUST FIGHTING PLAYERS, YOU ARE FIGHTING THE GAME_* If the regen was a bug this season, ALL teams had the opportunity to seize it, and you damn better believe that Cyan would have done the same in this situation. The nether regen was a built in feature of this season whether or not you may agree with it. Magenta won FAIR AND SQUARE bitches, and it was AWESOME
Are you kidding? The only reason that Blue team lost is because they all played like it was UHC and they had potions. The other team played like it was normal PvP with regen. There is no reason they should have exploited it, they should have just left the nether like they were told.
Supersoup42 "Like they were told" The only reason that cyan was telling them that is because they knew that they could easily win then. They were not actually talking in terms of what is legitimately fair.
Supersoup42 They absolutely did not exploit it. They were in the nether for as long as they were whether or not there was regen. Either way they would have had that same boost, and it was a part of the game. The entire layout of the match may not have been fair, but Magenta's win certainly was. And I don't say it too much, but please go be butthurt elsewhere ^.^
RUclips comments are just trash. Where are my snacks? I call this entertainment. Underdogs did it, they deserved it for how well they were planning attacks and taking things seriously. Aqua team DID throw it away. don't blame the nether, don't blame the controller, they did it. They were foolishly messing about in the overworld. Watching Seth's perspective made me want to pull my hair out because they were so oblivious to the fact that they were, indeed, still playing UHC. Vechs, give yourself some more credit. You are amazing at PvP. Well played.
Right? They did an amazing job at beating a much larger team on EVEN grounds. The all had the saem regen, it's just that the other team was waaay too cocky.
Right? Arguing that red team got more benefit from nether regen than blue is like saying that its unfair because one team used more golden apples than another...
I do enjoy both of these members, but in all honesty. Without the nether regen. Aqua would have won. BTC would have had 1 1/2 hearts if it wasn't for the nether regen. And it seems whenever they do these twists there is always regen in the nether now. It was never like that, but now it is. Maybe SethBling should take extra time when working on the UHC map to make sure. EVERYTHING is all set. After Anderz and Avidya left, Avidya hit Anderz, so they wouldn't be considered cheaters. Yet Blame and Vechs "abused" (as a shitton of people are saying) that glitch. BTC and Vechs did not deserve that win. And with that. I close my case. I'm not going to jump the (dislike) train, because I'm not like that. I would also like to say; Both teams had regen but wait... One team regen'd 35 hearts and the other 5 hearts one team would've won 6-0 if there was no regen
Wow. Just wow. This UHC started a war between the viewers. I'm just on the sidelines clapping, and appreciating the fact that there is a UHC at all. With all the hate I'm seeing, it's easy to see why certain series on RUclips stop abruptly. The negative comments are going to make UHC non-existent. It's only a matter of time. That's when I'll jump in the war. I am on the side that roots for every Mindcracker, and no matter what happens, I will never turn into a person to hate on anyone in the Mindcrack community, ever.
yeah, one by one, the pressure will be overwhelming. I do not want to see UHC ever stop and people don't realize just how quickly Mindcrack could stop it because of all the negativity. We already lost Etho because people were being harsh and stupid to whoever killed him. How many more Mindcrackers do we have to lose in a UHC before they stop doing it for good? I do not want to know the answer to that.
one of the reasons uhc has become so popular and liked is because people talk about it, it's controversy... it keeps it interesting if people debate over stuff that happens, but I do agree on the fact that disliking someone's video who kills a player you are favourable towards, is a bit childish and spiteful... I miss etho
***** oh, no I completely agree, as I stated in my 1st comment, I was just referring to how you have dismissed the fighting on reddit, however it is a million times more moderated than youtube, and has less 10 y/o on it
It's sad that people can't just be happy for once , no need to dislike a video because the person you were voting for lost. I thought this was a great ending , shows how unexpected things are :)
This UHC turned out unfair for both teams because of the nether, so let's please not argue, however, to clarify, as far as I see things... There are so many people saying how unfair the nether regen was, I'd just like to say that it was forced upon them by being trapped in the nether, and to their better knowledge they would be killed as soon as they left the nether, despite their intentions, the only other thing red could have done would be jump into death. My point is, despite any intention (justified or not) to use (or abuse) the nether regen, they did not abuse it, they were stuck in the nether. And both team were on equal footing a the end, so there is no reason to say that cyan "should" have won. This whole thing ended up as awkward situation where cyan trapped the portal, but vechs had the wits to work it out, thus being an unfair disadvantage for vechs, however he decided to turn that into an advantage, You can't say would "would" have happened if things were different, because it would have been played differently in those cases. So congratulations to Red, that, despite everything else was an excellent victory using good strategy at the end, and, yes, the mindcrack group do need to have a talk about the nether, what happened was unfair for both of the teams.
actually, the nether regen made the final battle more fair, not less. blue's derping around and sending in their enchanting table and a bunch of golden apples also made the final battle more fair. blue still had potions, equipment, and numbers on their side.
Worgen Death but it was. there are plenty of other things that could have happened there, like baj lagging out and flying off into the lava oceans. the nether regen shouldn't have been there, but bitching about some freak accident that lead to one team being partly healed by only a couple of hearts by the time one guy got the drop on them when the other team lost because they got too cocky isn't going to help matters. something tells me that if their reunion conversation had gone even a couple of second more smoothly, or if vechs had realized that the other team could have been followed by someone out for glory, baj would have died in a lava trap and the final battle would have been 5v3 instead of 5v2.
I think you won this by right. I think that the nether regen should be fixed and the blue team did very well on some parts but, you guys played it really well. The singns language was great and the strats! The switch-tanking that was just great. You did much better than them in the fight. MUCH better. They Instead of going 5vs2 went 1vs2 x 5 and instead of retreating and using potions to regen health they just rushed in and suicided. ... Thats why I think you deserve the win. GG
MrMinecraftGamer The Cyan team had the reagen as well, it wasn't red-only feature... What could they do? Give up? :D I think a fair thing to do would be if they agreed that the cyan team would go all the way to the border and let the pink go out and then hunt them down.
MrMinecraftGamer But they could have ran when they fought Vechs and BTC and regen and start again but they didn't, It was their shitty tactics that killed their team. The inability to adapt to new conditions... I doesn't matter how much health they regened in the nether, the amount they could have (= infinite) is the same for both teams.
MrMinecraftGamer Also, watching seth's POV right now. Can't stop laughing. He says wait for a couple of us and they're like naww and then they die... See? That's what I'm talking about the whole time... :D
MrMinecraftGamer Yeah, maybe you should go complain to the person who sets up UHCs. I mean, it's not like they held a gun to the head of Guude and told them to turn on nether regen lol
The hearts regen'd is the same by both teams? Baj would've came in and one shot Nebris and btc and it's a 1v7... Pink regen'd around 40 hearts blue around 5...
Mid to late 2014 takes me back to a time when things were good, in real life, but also with regards to Minecraft series. PSJ and Vechs were both on the Mindcrack server and it was fun to watch them interact. We never did get that rail system. :(
Jut one Thing about nether regen. AnderZ had regen when he went to the nether and Cyan Team all had regen before the final battle. So it was not only Vechs and Blame who benefitted from that, which means it was fair.
I was rooting for Cyan since the beginning since I was subbed only to Seth, but you made so well on this one episode, it was actually a great win. I also liked how you put music in some specific points of the videos. And yeah, I completely understand that anxiety attack, it happens when you need extreme concentration on something, and leaves you exposed afterwards. It's like borrowing your powers from future moments :P Anyways, good job on winning, that was great. You earned a sub by the way.
Vechz, nomatter what they say, everyone had thesame resources. both teams had regen in the nether, it was 6 v 2. you worked with the things you got given, like a map of yours is played. next seaso nwhen trappign portals is banned, itll be all good.
Thanks man :) I would of loved for the no-trap rule to be in this season (it will be in next season). I don't quite get the people saying "if you don't like nether trapping why did you do it that match?" I'm going to play the game by the rules it has right then, obviously. It's just after that match is over I lobbied pretty hard against trapping. :) During a match isn't the time to change the rules on the fly. I will play to win and take the game seriously (that's what everyone wanted yeah?) and use all tools and techniques available for that round of play.
***** You did nothing wrong in my book Vechs. People saying you camped the nether are ignorant because if they'd watched you they'd know you were trying to get out the whole time! Even in the final episode! And yeah, I never criticized you for previous seasons but I did want you to take it seriously, mainly because I knew you could be a major player, as you proved in this battle. Congratz on an epic victory dude. :D
Krieg Poop train conductor dude its like Vechs said he used all the tools he had so what if it was a glitch? The other team had the opportunity to use the glitch too. Also if trapping the nether portal was illegal then they could have had the fight in the overworld. jsano would have been alive and btc and nebris would have had mostly full health when they went to the nether. i think Vechs did good because he went for the win when the odds were at 7 vs 2, even if he had to use a glitch to win.
Krieg Poop train conductor How could they know what blue team did? As far as he knew anderz and avidya used nether regen, so why wouldn't he use it too???
You know, disregarding the whole regeneration thing, I just really appreciate the change of scenery. Not that UHC fights ever really get boring, but having it in a wide-open grassy field almost every time gets kind of dull. They should have a final fight in the nether again some time.
I don't care. You guys can be bitter all you want but GOOD LORD. THAT WAS EPIC. I was highly entertained, I'm liking and favoriting this entire season. Vechs, you did flippin amazing and I love your content. Everyone in this game did good and made it very entertaining. It does help that the cyan team became the villains, and you guys became the underdogs. Oh god does it feel good when stuff like this happens.
***** It's not fair to accuse of cheating because the advantage is available to everyone. Tell me what red team could do? They could not go anywhere EXCEPT the nether and they had NO choice but to be regened. Yeah, they did the switching thing to get health back but then again they needed every advantage they could get. There was no choice. Anything else is to simply lay yourself on their swords and forfeit. Most people pressured to that point would do the exact same if they wanted to put up a fight. Besides, this resulted in an otherwise mostly boring season to end in one of the greatest climaxes of all of the seasons. The winners always brag in these. That's just how the Mindcrakers are. They like to brag. I don't like it either, but honestly, this is the one spot where I believe the pride is well placed. They accomplished the impossible.
***** But remember, Vechs and BTC were trying to leave the nether. They did leave at one point, but they were outside the boarders, so they went back in, and at that point they had to fight blue because blue was attacking them or in between them and the portal.
Jorer Lu If they wanted to "fight to the death" they should have done it fairly, if that nether glitch weren't a thing Baj would have killed Nebs and BTC and maybe even Vechs
That was a great game guys! I think some people got a bit bitter in the end, but that's okay it's normal to be upset when you lose a game. I am sure they are still friends, so the people in the comment sections/ reddit: please calm down and don't cause any drama. Both teams did their best, and it was entertaining overall. Congrats to the winning team! and Can't wait for the next season.
IKR i have never seen a UHC this intense and awesome! IDK why, but i was rooting for red team, and i felt like they would win even when Nebris and btc were both at 3 hearts with mobs around every corner.
I feel your pain Vechs. I sometimes have these panic attacks where I can't stop shaking for a LONG time. Usually happens after an underdog win or something really nerve-wracking like singing in an Open Mic Night. (Yup.)
Dear salty audience, here's how it is: 1) To all those who complain that Vechs didn't suicide when he was trapped: Shut the Hell up hypocrites! The last 2 seasons there was a huge number of people who wanted him to take UHC seriously, and now that he has taken it seriously, you're all complaining about it! Shut up! Go home! Additionally, to all who say that jsano untrapped the portal before he died (I don't know if he did or not), there's not a snow golem's chance in the Nether that Vechs could have known that. 2) The Nether regen bug was 110% fair and balanced. Both teams were under its effects, both teams acknowledged its existence, and both teams COULD HAVE taken advantage of it, but: 3) Cyan/Aqua wasn't taking this seriously! I watched their perspective. They built onto Vechs's skeleton wall that he made when he found jsano. They were parkouring around the lava pool they made their portal from. They sent a horse through the portal. They were talking into a freaking melon block like it was a microphone! They built a HOUSE! They split up in the Nether. And lastly, they were so cocky that they didn't think to take advantage of the regen and ran in head first one at a time. I understand entertaining content, but this is all a little ridiculous. If you want to complain about someone not taking it seriously, talk to them. Now that we have that out of the way: To all hating stubborn trolls who will surely attack this comment: -Try to sound intelligent. No1 is goin 2 take u srsly if u tlk lik dis. -Have an argument. All you're doing is wasting your own time by saying "Well, you're wrong! You're an idiot! You suck!" -Once you have an argument, please have your evidence at the ready. No evidence, no argument.
SPOILER Cyan got absolutely wrecked at the end. No matter how you feel about the Nether regen bug, Vechs + BTC deserved the win for that performance alone. Cyan would have won had they not blindly rushed in one-by-one. They were completely disorganized. I think you guys should ban portal trapping for future UHC, though.
This made me realize why the final fights in UHC are usually so boring: Because of the meetup at 0,0. You either have completely flat terrain or the occasional hill and on either one you only have very few things actually come down to strategy. For the most part it's "Run at the enemy with your sword." or "Shoot from afar." - The Nether fortress, hell, fighting in the Nether at all did a LOT to spice up these last moments.
Red team tried to get Blue team to go into the nether, but Blue team tried the same thing. It was mainly Anders concern for the viewers and his impatience to get it over and done with that cause Blue team to crack, once they had decided to go into the nether, they were hardly going to make up a stratagy with no knowledge of where the other team was. They were disorganised because they had no idea where the other team was, even if they had been more organised in the nether, they'd have probably still have lost
To all who are saying it was a bullshit win and that they abused the nether regen glitch, guess what? Blue Team had regen too. It was a fair 5v2 in the end, its not like red had the glitch while blue didn't, both teams had the regen glitch. Vechs and BTC played it smart, even trying to go to the overworld to try and fight then UHC legit. Even though I was rooting for red team the entire time, and Vechs and BTC played awesome this game, I do think they should have a Season 19b, with no nether regen and no portal trapping. Good job Vechs and BTC for winning :)
***** So how could they hit each other when regen was on in the nether? They tried going for the other team in the overworld but couldn't because the portal spawned outside the border.
I totally agree, just hope next season they ban portal trapping and actually fix the worlds for no regeneration in the Nether. Like, seriously this is MINDCRACK. They should be pros with making these worlds for the best experience.
***** Actually, I think Red should still win. The final battle was fair and square. Sure, there was the stupid glitch, but both teams had it, no other team had and advantage other than Blue team having more people.
Vechs, I would like to apologize for all of the spiteful people who have posted such rude comments toward you. I don't quite understand why they were so upset, as it's not THEIR battle to fight. They could have just skipped through the episodes they found boring and they need not get so worked up about the victory. I suppose they don't understand that IT'S JUST A GAME, but I just hope you know well enough to ignore them. They are obviously not people you or I would ever be compelled to hang out with. Anyway, sorry for the length, (I know you probably aren't going to read this.) I love you and I hope you pay no mind to the abhorrent comments!
Thales Nunes They aren't cheaters. Everyone got the health, it was 6v2 with everyone at full. It was a fair fight, and red won because they strategized while blue did not.
Yay!!!! And I've had the "arms going numb" thing a couple of times before. And I think playing CTM maps trains you in close melee combat. But this was a FANTASTIC UHC! Thanks for a good time, Vetches.
And for all you folks who think a comment needs many likes in order to be read/noticed/replied to..... You stand now corrected. And Vechs.... yes... Many of us did enjoy your performance this UHC. You earned the win and used strategy rather than pandering to some implied perception of what the viewers might like/want. I'll tell you what I want from you Vechs.... I want you to have fun and to give an honest effort. Failing that, then do something derpy (the pig flight was hilarious btw) and funny to make me either laugh or groan with humor. For the most part you've always come through. Thank you.
Honestly, yeah Red team shouldn't have won, *technically*. HOWEVER, I'm so glad they did win because it was epic. Also, during the final battle, both teams had the same conditions. Both teams had the nether regen and the same environment. Red team deserves the win. While yes, Vechs was a bit hypocritical over the portal trapping, but, in the end the enemy team threw away their win. They got cocky, and didn't respect Vechs and BTC, which was their downfall. You always have to respect the enemy, or else this happens. They had triple Red teams numbers and were insanely well equipped. Even with nether regen, cyan should've won, but their mistakes caused them to lose. Nether regen is a bullshit argument for saying that red shouldn't have won. Vechs and BTC deserve that win because they use proper tactics, strategy, and teamwork, regardless of nether regen or portal trapping. And I saw a comment like "it was 2v2, regen to full, 1v2, regen to full" and etc. Well that's the most retarded argument I've ever seen. Again, cyan had the regen too. Also, you wanna know why it was like that? Because cyan split up and threw away all cohesion and teamwork. Red deserves the win, and every bit of it. ***** that was incredible, and I thank you for this amazing season of UHC.
This is true, but it's bad sportsmanship. BTC and Vechs won the fight, but you CAN NOT denie that they would have lost if nether regen wasn't a thing. This is more of a fanboy comment: Anderz and Avidia got back from the nether, and when they realised that they had regened, they hit eachother until they were at the lvl of health they should have been. That is sportsmanship. But back to being less of a fanboy. The cyan team did kill themselvs by going in 1v2, they did get cocky in the end, and BTC and Vechs DID WIN the 2v5 if everybody had lvl terms. BUT it wasn't sportsmanlike. If BTC and Vechs had been 100% sportsmanlike, they would have taking that 2v5 as a great triumph, but they should forfeit for "exploting" nether regen. Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree and debate :)
EpicWaffle_97 But the didn't "exploit" it... the worst you can say is that they were "victims" of it just as anderz and Avidya.... Whether they had planned on hurting themselves after leaving the nether or not is not even an issue, becuase (and this is the main point, and something most people complaining don't seem to understand) they never had a chance to leave. They all met up in the nether, then Bah almost immediatly attacked. Then vechs and BTC schemed quielty and decided to leave the nether away from the already built portal... they just never had a chance to leave for more than that 5 seconds or so. They didn't exploit it... it was just there....
Well, to quote John Steinbeck : "If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck." That was great strategy, thanks Vechs and BTC for that :D Honestly I though portal trapping had just made this season uninteresting because your team had so few people left and I though there wouldn't be interesting fights after that but you just made it one of the best season in my opinion. Baiting them one by one to kill them was really great. I hope you won't be too mad about all the haters. Just remember how all those dislikes help your channel as much as the likes ;)
I am about to cry. Vechs and BTC (and Nebris for that matter). Against the world. And they pull it out. For the first time in I don't know how long, brilliant strategy overcomes numbers and gear to win a UHC. My two favorite youtubers just pulled out a win I was dreaming of. I clicked the thumbnail of the video waiting for the two to die but silently hoping with all my inner being that they would somehow win. "(scoffing) Slain by Vechs?!" - Seth Added to favorites, added to that small corner of my memory that I will never forget. Thank YOU red team for making me nearly cry and at this point, pee a bit.
"stategy" = exploiting nether regen. Both BTC and Vechs should be long dead. They would have not been able to pick everyone off one by one like they did.
Supersoup42 You're right. But the nether regen wasn't one sided. The Blue team also was in the nether. And despite their potions, golden apples AND nether regen, the two reds pulled it out.
almost_ famous If there wasnt nether regen both BTC and vechs would have been on 1hp for that fight, and each of them took over a heart of damage in that fight so they would have lost.
Supersoup42 their strategy was working as a team, they would have been dominated if the other team worked together, which they didn't because they were too arrogant on the fact they had better numbers.. and look what happened :)
It's been said in previous UHCs that bugs in Minecraft are "part of the game". And since this affects everyone equally it should probably be considered the same.
Okey I just want to get one thing straight!!!! Everyone that says that Blue team should have won because Vechs and BTC had nether regen. It didnt matter when they battled they had the same amount of health and both had regen. BTC and Vechs just played it better in the end thats why they won not because the regen. Awesum UHC guys Just wow...
You are kidding right? I agree the final fight they all had same advantages. BUT without nether regen, BTC would be at 1/2 a heart and I don't know exactly about Vechs, but I saw him regen a lot. Tell me, how would they be able to stand against a team with potions and apples?? Nether regen was mostly made redundant for the blue team, red team profited from it. But over all I don't care and I think all this rage is pointless, since all it can achieve is that MC community stops making UHC. For me this was somewhat the best season, because it revealed the most about the true characters of MC peoples. It had fantastic fights, fun strategies, overall derps, just a bit of a silly ending.
Still that makes them both at about 50% of health, not full health and 3 golden apples and a potion. Without regen, Baj would probably killed them off. Vechs would be at about 3 hearts when Baj fought him and delivered the apples.
JeffyjeffP Ok here's my input. Red team GREATLY benefited from the Nether regen while Blue didn't because they had potions and apples. If there was no nether regen Nebris would've been at 2.5 BTC would've been really low and so would have Vechs. Baj might have been able to kill 2 if not all 3 of them if they were at that health.
All the salty redditers and youtube commenters have me enjoying today to the fullest. This really is a classic example of baiting an enemy, and they weren't ready for it. It happens on other games just as often, there's even a medal for doing so in World of Tanks.
If five people couldn't figure out a way to defeat two, they deserve the loss. Some of the greatest minds in mindcrack were on the other team, they have absolutely no excuse.
Getsuga Tsunentaiga This is not about fighting tactics. This is about hiding behind a potential (un-observable and hardly avoidable) death trap, stalling and using arguably illegal health regeneration.
Well, let's look at the situation in retrospect. -nether healing was a thing This worked for everybody equally in the nether, though completely unintended and frowned upon by many, and was still fair game. -the portal in the nether was trapped: Since it was not illegal at the time, Vechs and BTC did not HAVE to untrap it. But the game has to go on, so they did what they did and tried to escape. -it was 5v2 Numbers aren't everything. Strategy is just as if not more important. This was a team match and Vechs and BTC has the number advantage in this case because getting two people to agree on a plan tends to be much easier than getting five people to do the same. Also, team "Aquard," as much as I love 'em, did not collaborate well, hampering their coordination in attack. Team "Aquard" did get incredibly overconfident, as shown in how they approached the cornered pair. In any other situation, none of them would have recklessly charged in to melee two people whose attack power, I must mention, was never gauged by the other team. Normally, they would have waited for their teammates to catch up so that they could act as a group. -team "aquard" had tons of health Correction: they had tons of POTENTIAL HEALTH RESERVES, not tons of health. Reserves only matter if you can use them. Splash potions, while instant would also heal your opponent if in melee. Golden apples and potable potions both take time to consume making their use in melee fatal. This brings me to my next point. -team "aquard" had as massive amount of resources Realistically, their best approach was a ranged battle with one or two baits, so that they could have taken better advantage of their resources. In a ranged battle, they could had one or two people go in as melee lures to draw Vechs and BTC into firing range if needed. Should those that went as lures need to be healed, they can run back, use their supply of health, and go back out again. If they are chased and die, then they have still drawn Vechs and BTC into firing range. Team "aquard" had the potential to fortify their position in the nether and severely outgun and starve magenta team if they pooled their resources. I'm sure there are some major and minor points I've blatantly overlooked, but this is my opinion and conclusion: They were playing a game for US. I don't care who won, I don't care who lost, yes, I'll frown upon blatant cheating, no, I'm not trying to insult team "aquard," and for (PROFANITY) sakes, I'm just happy that I could sit down for a while and laugh my ass off as I watch their content.
I see this UHC as nothing more than a platform from which more specified ground rules must be laid for future UHCs. Many UHC perspectives on both teams were ruined thanks to Nether Portal traps, and the presence of it or merely the potential presence of a trapped Nether Portal was easily the greatest influence to how this UHC went down altogether. No Nether Portal traps in any way, shape, or form and have the end game always at 0,0 on the overworld. Congratulations to team purple for possibly the most miraculous UHC victory in history though!
Having the game always end at 0,0 is a bit much. It would kill a lot of the game's randomness which is a big part of the fun. It would also make for some boring videos with players taking forever to gear up before heading to 0,0. I personally don't like the "forced end" to the game by meeting up at 0,0 and wouldn't mind if the game went on for several more hours with them hunting each other.
Zarkoy this, basically the first team to arrive gets to camp and the other has to attack them? Makes no sense. Well, it makes more sense than this bullshit.
Tanerion The problem is that those are still people... Especially after having to set everything up and all, which probably takes a few hours, do you really think we should ask for 6+ hours of UHC? With timezones completely putting specific players at a disadvantage? I really doubt that's reasonable...
TheTLATER I didn't say they *should*. I said I wouldn't mind. And as far as I can gather the timezones are already putting the european players at a disadvantage. Don't know how it was this time but I believe there have been examples of UHCs starting close to midnight in europe and continuing way into the night. Could easily be remedied by starting the game six or so hours earlier which is about the time difference between western Europe and the US.
I don't care what you guys say about nether regen winning them the game etc. etc. Both teams had access to nether regen. The cyan team also got to regen when they came back from the nether. Red couldn't control the fact they had access to the regen. Vechs and Blame outplayed cyan team super hard. They alternated their tanking, used signs to communicate, and completely outfought the other team. This scenario played out like a kung fu movie where each apprentice went in individually and they lost as a result. Extremely well played and you two deserved the win.
Did anyone abuse the nether regen exept for Vechs, BTC, and nebs? and nobody even knew about it exept for Vechs, BTC, Nebs, Avidya, and Anderz- but Avidya and Anderz did not abuse it and hit eachother in the overworld.
Vechs might have done that in the overworld but the overworld portal was thought to be trapped by vechs and btc, so they went to the overworld via a new portal to realise they spawned outside
Dat Axe How were Vechs and BTC supposed to know they hit each other to reduce their health? Nobody said to do that in chat. And moreover Vechs couldn't have hit himself if he wanted. He'd regen it immediately since he was trapped in the nether for the majority of the UHC.
Your wrong vechs, in the end it did matter, and you won the game, I loved every second of the fight, and the calls you made at the end were the best. I thought it was over for you last episode, but you not only proved me wrong, totally recked, and I enjoyed this more than any other time, hope to see more!
Best ending to a UHC ever. Came over here from Avidya's channel. You now have another sub. Even though Nether re-gen was on, you guys totally outplayed the other team. You deserved that win.
It's funny how the cyan and cyan fans were mad about these guys hiding in the nether, which is ridiculous it was 5v2. Vechs and BTC played in near perfectly. You can blame the nether regen a little bit, but that's seths fault really.
I think purple deserved he win because they killed all six cyan people. Millbee went in and died, avidya went in and died, mc and Anderz almost did it, Seth almost did it, and so did pakkrat. But I they all went in at the same time they might have killed btc and vechs. I think cyan was foolish because they just messed around as if they weren't even playing uhc. But vechs and btc were smart and knew what they were doing. To prove that cyan were fools, mc made an item frame, put a gold apple in it, left it there, and went to the nether where they could've been killed. I hated blue team because they just blew it. They're good youtubers, but they threw their victory in the trash
And I agree with vechs, portal traps should be banned. But traps that don't use lava are fine. For example, block off the portal with obsidian, or put fire around it, because fire can be removed easily.
I love coming back to watch this episode every once and a while. Don’t know what it is about the video, probably the strategy. Anyway love this video Vechs
People claiming that vechs camped the nether and used regen to his advantage, both teams had access to the regen in the final fight regardless, blue was disorganized and payed the price for it. Vechs did not "Camp" the nether, he was trapped, in more way's than one, when he was in the nether he could not get out due to lava on the other than, once the lava was delt with, him and BTC were still trapped by the other team camping the escape portal. Him and BTC played strategically and stayed in the nether instead of leaving with the other team on the other side since it would be equal to suicide. There was no cheating involved.
HOLY HELL WHAT A WIN! SO MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE BUTTHURT BUT NOW I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO ROOT FOR THE UNDERDOG IN SPORTS AND GET AN AMAZING WIN! F**K YES
***** I posted this as a seperate comment, but I'll tell you now I want you to remember the NUMBER ONE RULE in UHC. *_YOU ARE NOT JUST FIGHTING PLAYERS, YOU ARE FIGHTING THE GAME_* If the regen was a bug this season, ALL teams had the opportunity to seize it, and you better believe that Cyan would have done the same in this situation. The nether regen was a built in feature of this season whether or not you may agree with it. Magenta won FAIR AND SQUARE
***** Well what else were they supposed to do? If they did do a 2v2 or a 2v1 would the rest just kill themselves? Both sides were way too proud to make it fair like that. You heard them saying "im not taking down my health!" It was part of the game, they won. deal with it.
***** The regen affected EVERYONE. they ALL HAD A CHANCE TO USE IT. If they had planned, Cyan would have won. but they DIDN"T they just charged without thinking. Its on them. magenta won fair and square.
It wasn't red's fault the nether regen was on. Go complain to the person who set up UHC's (and you probably know who that is. Whoever set up the UHCs, it's on them. Not red's. It was an entertaining UHC, I don't know what the heck cyan was doing. They all came in separately, and each got mauled. They weren't very strategic at all. They showed very little teamwork and communication, unlike BTC and Vechs who switched out when the other was low. Also grats to pak with his first kill :D
This was hands down, my favorite UHC. I've been watching your perspective since PSJ stopped playing. While I have been frustrated *at you* (but VERY entertained, BTW!) by shenanigans of the past, I was frustrated *for you* when you got stuck. You and BTC played well, and it payed off. I was at the edge of my seat. Congratulations on your UHC win!
Wtf is this? I'm reading through the comments how bullshit vechs won. Vechs and BTC won because they chose their fight carefully, instead of rushing in and dying immediately to a 6v2. This is the first time in UHC where numbers are weaker to strategy.
There are many factors in this game of UHC that can be debated upon but honestly.... There's no point to it, if anything the Mindcrackers are just going to feel bad mentally for the outcome of a game of "kill or be killed" and they will stop producing the amazing content that we know as the UHC series. A team had to win and Vechs + BTC using their surroundings won, It wasn't their fault regen was on and it wasn't their fault he was trapped in the nether but they used their surroundings to adapt to the circumstances and regardless of how they won whether it was a sloppy win or a perfect win, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning. I personally don't care who wins, as long as they had fun giving us the content and I enjoy watching it! I thought Docm was being the bigger man there saying that neither had it perfect in terms of the situations that both teams were in and I salute him! Regardless I enjoyed this season thoroughly and I really hope that they will continue bringing out this great content!
That was... interesting. I agree with both sides -- I think that the nether regen saved the Red Team in the first place, they would have otherwise probably died in any fight due to poor health. The rules said no natural regen, but somebody forgot to turn it off in the nether, or didn't know it had to be turned off separately, so it wasn't Red's fault that it was there; they didn't cheat to make it happen. But they exploited it rather than try to work out something with the others to make it a fairer contest, while Anderz and Avidya handled that much more sportsmanlike (and nobody can tell me that "anything goes" in UHC; the guys are usually good sports). A big, fat, black mark to Red for abusing the regen. But the actual fight was very well done by Red; good strategy, taking it seriously, and kicking Blue's butt from here until tomorrow. The regen wasn't really much of an issue at that point, and Red won the fight fair and square; it was really fun to watch form both sides. Blue was much too cocky -- and this is what happens when you are too busy crowing and counting your chickens before they hatch; you get your Viking ass handed to you by the people you have riled up with your obnoxious taunting. A good lesson to be learning -- Blue had so much advantage while Red had all that frustration, and I can't help but cheer for the underdog. It really sucked for Vechs to be stuck in the nether; maybe he would have had second thoughts about the unfairness of the regen if he had actually been able to escape. Another good lesson to be learning might be how to escape a trapped portal -- none of them seemed to know how to do that, which really surprised me. Now, when somebody is camping on the other side there isn't anything you can do, but when they're not, if you have blocks and a tool in your hotbar, you can place/destroy blocks while standing inside the portal, and get rid of the lava. You cannot use any GUI, so everything you need has to be in the hotbar. Still, I think trapping portals is kind of meh; I am glad you're not doing that anymore. Vechs seems to think his footage was boring, but for the most part it wasn't; I thought the tension and frustration was actually very dramatic -- will he make it out? What songs will he mangle while trapped in an ugly meat room -- maybe something by Lady Gaga? Will his team mount a rescue? Will they instead come out in the trapped portal (oh damn)? It was great. Thanks! I hope the bad feelings that boiled over at the end went away after a while.
Anderz and avidya punched each other down when they left the nether. There was no chance for BTC and Vechs to do that, they were in the nether. They would have regened it anyway. They wanted a fair fight in the overworld, but before they could do that, blue team rushed.
Man, I would like to hear what Doc has to say about this whole UHC. It seems that he is the only one who really looked at this objectively after the fact.
Coming back and watching this is so funny Like I get they wouldn’t have won this without the regen but it’s the fact that they trapped the nether portal like watching beach’s perspective just shows you that it was the fact that they trapped the portal in the first place that it ended this way either way it was just a unique uhc
Literally, when Vechs finally slew Pakratt, I threw my arms up in the air, as if watching the winning goal at the end of one of my children's Soccer matches, or the winning touchdown/field goal in a Football Championship game, etc., etc. I am very honored to have only watched your, Vechs, perspective this particular UHC, from beginning to absolute end. All be it, a late watch. Despite all the whinny crybaby crap coming from the nose bleed section in the bleachers of the other teams side of the field, I believe that the "Nether Fortress Showdown" was actually the most impressive thing I have seen in a UHC in quite a while. My hat is off. Not even to mention, the UNDERDOGS breathlessly and haphazardly achieving a just deserved TOTAL VICTORY! Staring at Nether Brick for three plus episodes has never been so perseveringly pinnacle, with an ending so resolutely relished. F**KING A RIGHT!!!!!!! F**K PIGS FLYING!!!!!!! F**K EGGS AND AXES!!!!!!! YOU ARE UNEQUIVOCALLY THE MAN, VECHS!!!!!!! With BTC's assist, of course. ;) F**K THE HATERS!!!!!!! EXTREMELY GREAT GAME TO ALL! Carpe' Diem! [HEART]
I said this on Reddit and I'll say it here the nether regeneration was obviously not part of the game and was used (by both teams) throughout the season. Even still At the point it was 5v2 in the nether I myself and I'm sure everyone else still fully expected blue to go on and win through sheer numbers yet they failed to utilise this advantage and lost the game. We can say 'oh BTC and Nebris would have been one shoted by Baj" but the fact remains in a 5 vs 2 situation blue should have won with or without regen. It was another Uppercat situation (possibly to a greater extent). However as one who was disgruntled by the ending of Season 11 I know how people are feeling at the moment and just to remind folks: everyone is entitled to an opinion but it is just game.
Mikey Rosslow I understand what could've happened (Baj could have ended the game at the end of ep 8) but the fact remained that blue had more people in the final battle and therefore should have used those numbers to engineer a victory. I expected them to win even after Avidya died because it was 4 vs 2. Forget what happened to Baj, it passed, all blue could do was win with the conditions they were in (which was a 4vs2) but their attack was badly coordinated and they lost.
I'm not gonna say what has already been said massively here, I just think the battle was entirely fair and Vechs and BTC did an amazing job here. This and Vechs flying his pig off a cliff in season 17 are my favorite moments in mindcrack history. GG to Vechs for being in both of them.
To everyone saying that they won fairly and the nether regen didn't matter- If nebris hadnt regenerated in the nether, he would have been at 1/2 a heart and Baj would have killed him without taking damage. With blame at 3 hearts and Vechs at full (Well, theres no way in telling Vechs' health because he took alot of fall damage but regenerated in the nether) but Baj would have put alot of damage. And also, I think cyan would have won because of the damage that baj had taken from them. I'll admit, if it was anyone that deserved to win this UHC more it was Vechs because of his ASTOUNDING content when he was trapped in the nether. So I'm kinda pissed that they had to regen, but at least Vechs got something out of the UHC other than staring at a wall for half an hour. Also i dislike Cyan's cockiness- And i think 1st ever team kill xD
***** True, true. But then again, everyone was a bit cocky this season. On red, after Beef and Kurt killed Pyro and Pause, they were celebrating when MC came in and killed them both. Vechs was derping around in the nether and taking fall damage here and there. Cyan was going after mobs because they were so OP. So it evens out in cockiness, but I'm glad that Vechs won with his 1/2 an hour wall stare
Bobby Cat Well nobody knew about the regeneration in the nether exept BTC, Vechs, Nebris, Avidya, and Anderz. Avidya and Anderz punched each other until they were at they health they were at before without telling anyone that there was regeneration in the nether
Vechs, you just can't win in UHC. Name a pig man Zisteau's, you lose for not taking the game seriously. Throw an egg that puts a teammate down at half health because of a mod, you lose for not taking the game seriously. Work hard to win and take the game seriously, you lose for "cheating" in a manner that every player had the opportunity to take the (completely fair) advantage of. That being said, you are my favorite RUclips Minecraft commentator, and I particularly love your UHC content, partly because you don't take the game seriously. You add your own unique spin on each UHC, and that is awesome. While everyone else is die-hard to win, nervous, uptight, or whatever else, you are still you're usual laid-back self. You don't necessarily want to win by all means necessary, you just want to have a good time. Personally, I think that all the hate commenters should take a lesson from you. UHC is just a way for a group of people to do something they love (play Minecraft), in a competitive yet friendly manner. Of course you want to win, but winning comes second to having a good time with people you care about. That's why Mindcrack is my favorite group of commentators; they do a lot of group collaborations to hang out and produce good content for the people of the Internet. I personally think that certain people just want to complain about something to complain about, with the Internet as their medium. These people are collectively known as "haterz," and your channel seems to attract them, possible because of your adorabolical derpiness, or possibly because of your wonderful charisma, which some people are jealous that they cannot attain that level of perfect balance between derp and charm. Vechs, you are, and always will be, the best RUclipsr, mapmaker, person, etc. that I have ever seen. Sorry for the small essay of a comment, but Vechs, you deserve it :)
You experienced Fight or Flight reaction, Vechs...designed to keep animals (including humans) alive in times of extreme danger. Adrenaline increases, arteries constrict, heart rate increases, muscles tense, you focus only on the immediate danger. When the adrenaline wears off, you finally experience all the results of overtaxing your body. Maybe not so much a panic attack is the suddenly drop in blood pressure when your adrenaline came down. It's the same mechanism whether you're running from a tiger or fighting for your life on a computer game. Well played! This is a battle for the history books!!
Wow you guys kicked ass! I hope to see you and BTC hang out more in the future. And thanks for taking time to make fun videos for us :) --- To everyone talking negatively in the comments: I'd like to point out that Doc (who's smart and would call bs if there was reason to) listened to both sides saw it as a normal fight. And he suggested he thought both teams sounded like they were acting reasonably. Now, to those bickering in the comments on Vechs & BTC video's because of the entire season going a little crazy really isn't fair. If it was only Coe's mic that went out, or only the portal trapping that isn't fun to watch, or only the regen issue, etc... I don't think everyone would be making such a big deal out of the outcome. I think I'm mostly seeing frustration turned to blame... And all the fans should realize that these people are a group of friends, if they didn't like and respect each other there would be no Mindcrack. So please consider that the hateful comments here (and elsewhere) hurts the entire group. (Also, remember how pretty much everyone likes Etho joining in for UHC? He's pointed out in the past that the hate his friends get if they win a fight against him really makes him uncomfortable. I don't think it's the number one reason he wasn't in this season, but it's clearly an issue that is quite silly.)
Best UHC I've ever seen. I don't know about anyone else, but the way I watch UHC, I start with one person and watch them play until they get killed, then start watching their killer from when they died. This season I started with Millbee and it was great.
great job Vechs! you really deserved that victory! I'm so happy and excited for the next UHC. Keep up the great work Vechs and this UHC nobody will stop talking about "The Big Comeback"!
tryplot Okay, but that wasnt the case here. There WAS Nether regen. The players played the game, that had Nether regen. The fight was still in blue's favor, but they messed up and Vechs and BTC won, who played it out smart.
Hey vechs hope you see this! Im a massive long time fan of mindcrack and UHC and was a bit bummed about the nether regen but you and btc were at full health at the end after takeing on 4/5 people. In my opinion if the nether regen wasent bugged you would have won anyway it was a complete out play dont let the UHC fanboys get ya down! Keep the awareness cant wait for your nexr UHC!!!
ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! Great job Vechs! You and Blame earned the W. A lot of people think that some people take UHC too seriously, but the teamwork you both displayed in the nether was one others can learn from. Again, great job...can't wait for season 20! :)
Vechs and BTC deserved this win. They won a 6v2 regardless of nether regen this is impressive also they were stuck in the nether for several episodes because the portal was trapped. The entire time vechs in btc were in there they were planning how they could get out of the nether without dieing so everyone who is saying that they purposely abused the nether regen go watch their videos. The blue team got a little cocky towards the end especially the part where they made a house with a item frame and golden apple on it... After the blue team went into the nether the second time vechs and btc had no choice but to fight in the nether because they had no time to create another portal and by the anyone started fighting they had full health due to the regen so the only advantage the purple team had was communication and tactical advantage watch everyone's perspective i was rooting for the blue team until i saw how they were acting so carelessly purple team won fair and square. Vechs deserved it after being trapped so long in the nether also everyone who is hating on vechs, honestly i don't understand he could do anything and it would be "wrong" every uhc he tries to entertain during the stale moments so things don't get taken too seriously, "lighten the mood" i guess you could say so he makes mistakes and hurts his teammate with eggs. gets TONS of hate. Next uhc he tries his best to take everything seriously wins in a 6v2 regardless of nether regen he gets tons of hate which honestly is somewhat expected seen as 6 other peoples viewers switch to his video to catch his perspective on things but seriously all the hate hes getting is crazy. that is all feel free to waste time trying to argue any points i make doesn't really matter at all.
Dat ending tho. People who have watched other perspectives may think you were bad sports, but when you think logically: YOU didn't know their perspective, and you were playing seriously, so you guys are not to blame. It was a great ending, and people who think you guys were bad sports should realise that you only had your point of view. Great game. Oh by the way: I think nobody who has followed your other UHCs (and listened to you talk about UHC at any point in time), and has a tiny amount of intelligence, took your remark about trying as a sign of arrogance ;)
I am so glad you two won! Going into that episode, it was 6v2. Nobody thought your team would have won. So many people say "they would have lost if it weren't for regen". The thing is, both teams had it. It was fair. You and btc played that fight great. You baited them and got them to do 1v2 or 2v2. Blue was playing bad. They were very cocky, wasted gold apples, Seth ran in without a helmet, they killed their teammates (Sethbling was shot by Pakratt0013 xD). GG, and excited for next season.
Yes but blue team didnt regen 38.5 hearts in the nether. Also anders and avidya after they left the nether took the damage that had already happened to them.
This was amazing. I loved it. Despite everything, such an unexpected ending. Man, I haven't felt this riveted by a RUclips video in a loooong while. Congrats Vechs, BTC. Great game.
In summary, it's a fight and sometimes you have to play a little dirty to win. Both sides played dirty, but no rules were broken. Sure, maybe some clarification should be made about using the nether, but I don't think we should take this win away from vechz and Blame.
Actually cyan team shouldn't of had all those health pots, they used nuggets instead of blocks (like the uhc plugin normally makes it). Therefore the health cyan gained from those + any they got in the nether is probably equal if not more than what vechs and btc got from nether regen
I'm not accusing anyone of cheating, or breaking any rules. I personally think trapping the portal for an easy kill is a little dirty. Should there be a rule against trapping portals? Maybe, or this season could reiterate not go to the nether if someone else already has. Bottom line we shouldn't take the win away from the victors, because it ended completely opposite from how we all expected it to.
Lol at the people complaining. it was a good FAIR win. Both teams had regen for the end. Whether the red team would've died leaving is out of the question. Both teams had regen for the WHOLE GAME. If they'd have gone to the nether. They'd have regened. It wasn't against the rules because no-one knew. It was a flaw in the game not a flaw in the players. How you use a flaw in a game is up to the players however. Every player had the chance to regen in the nether. Yes Anderz and Avidya hit each other afterwards. That was their choice. It didn't say in the rules to do that. If that was so everyone may as well of just hit each other at the final battle from all the damage being done. Don't hate on the players for the flaw in the game. And that's another thing. SOme of the commenters telling Vechs to die? Over a game? Grow up people c'mon.
That laugh at the end reminds me of Kira's famous laugh in at the end of deathnote, only this one was unacted and purely powered by bloodlust. You can whine all you want, the plays Vechs made during the actual fight were perfect. The lava even stopped Anderz dead in his tracks, preventing him from doing his copyrighted viking charge of death whilst trapping mc in the process. I bow to you, Vechs.
GODDAMN!!! What an exiting/well fought end! I bow my head in awe. Had my heart racing. This is what UHC is about. ..and to the team moaning, and those supporting them: Stfu. SethBling & co acted like they were all that, and in the end when it counted, they spoiled their massive advantage by being arrogant. ...and by facing two guys who dominated.
Yeah, but they deserved to be arrogant. They were so much better than the other team it was not even funny. Nether regen is the ONLY reason why Vechs and BTC were able to do what they did.
Supersoup42 Yeah but that arrogance lost them the game. Nether regeneration or not they had a huge numbers advantage, better gear, and even health. The fact that they still lost is entirely their fault.
***** There is a major difference between having the ability to exploit a glitch and exploiting a glitch. The difference is the difference between Cyan and Magenta.
Supersoup42 ..just like there is a major difference between taking advantage when you outnumber the "enemy" 5 to 2, and - like in this case - not doing so. Regen or not: SethB & co could have taken Vechs and BTC, easily, if they hadn't been way to full of themselves/careless. Casually dropping in, instead of showing up full force, was the major reason for how it ended.
Vechs, I must say. I came here expecting more support to why I was upset by your victory. However, listening to the end segment as well as watching the fight from your perspective, I do feel like your win was well earned. The strategy was truly astounding! I was able to get past all the saltiness of this UHC, and I hope more of your fans see it the same way. Anyway...I figured you could use a bit of support. I'm so glad you took this season seriously. It really paid off. This is probably one of the best fight scenes I've ever seen of any UHC, of any caliber! Congratulations on your victory; I hope you cherish it. Take it easy. :)
I don't want to hate and I agree that the tactics used by BTC and Vechs were very logical and strategic, but without nether regen they wouldve been low health and would've died. Cyan team wasn't really cocky, they just wanted a fight and grew impatiant. Avidya dying was due to good planning by not pink team, and Milbree dying was the fault of cyan team. The nether regen conditions were NOT the same because cyan team had praticly full health and not pink team wouldn't have had nearly as much health. I think cyan team should've and would've won if it wern't for nether regen. But all in all, I think we can all agree nether portal trapping ****** up this season of UHC. No matter who wins, nether portal trapping should definitly be banned since it ruined this entire uhc expierience.
Also, I really liked the layout of this UHC. The way people found eachother, and the way MC, for example, found new teamtes half way through uhc. I really liked the giant teames with mumble and i think it really added to uhc. This was my 2nd favorite uhc probably (besides uhc 10 i think with team PMP) and i wouldnt mind seeing this again.
alright, without armor blue would have died. if milbee hadn't run in with blue's enchanting table red almost definitely would have died. you're arguing hypothetical situations here, and there are an infinite amount of those.
This is a comment of appreciation for your great entertainment and work. Thanks! Frankly, as a viewer, I feel embarrassed that people are getting so upset about this.
I'm ok with the portal trapping the Milbee death was similar to Jsanos in my opinion the only thing that grates me is the fact that nether regenning was on and you abused that whereas in all fairness to anderz and avidia they punched themselves to go down in health
I fully agree with your statement; without nether regen they had no chance against six other mindcrackers On the other hand... wait, there was no other hand. It was unfair all the way. :-)
Yeah, just use your brain, vechs and btc wanted to go to the overworld but spawned outside the border, how would you know they wouldnt have punched each other
koen bobeldijk They may have they may not have you never know but from last episode with vechz whispering to BTC and Nebris to look at their health, I took it that it was unlikely they would have.
Vechs, congrats. To think that you are so new to Mindcrack and to win the old tradition of UHC.... It's really incredible. You strived for serious game play, and despite being trapped in the Nether for almost 3 episodes, you did really good. Congrats on the win and you totally deserved it!!
I have to say, vechs really can't win with these viewers. When he tries to be silly, have fun, and mess around, like with the pig and egg incidents, he gets hated on. But now, when he actually tries to win, he gets hated on. If the enemy team waited around for 40 minutes at zero zero, okay, but a few uhcs ago, 14 i think, vechs had to wait around for at least an hour and a half at zero zero, while the enemy team was underground for hours getting back to full health. That's an okay strategy, and completely fair to do, but what bothers me is the community's reaction. When nebris hides for a long time, it's "good strategy" and "fair" when vechs does the exact same thing, he's being a "coward" and "cheating" Please guys, don't hate on vechs for no reason (except maybe killing us all many times with his maps, but that's another discussion entirely) If you think a strategy is unfair, fine, but at least treat everyone the same when they use it. Don't worry though vechs, I for one will always be a loyal vexy minion!
That was an amazing comeback. Vechs and BTC played that beautifully. It wasn't honourable, but nor are most kills in UHC (sneaking, outnumbering and outgunning are not honourable). It was a beautiful finish to a tense battle. This is probably the most fun I had watching a video in forever. Too bad next season probably won't be able to match it.
Hey guys, I have released Spellbound Caves II, check it out at: vechsdavion.com/super-hostile-maps/ And watch my dev com here: ruclips.net/video/fAVbDzv4Yrk/видео.html
How cyan team lost:
1. Millbee went in to the nether alone and Vechs killed him (6-1=5 players left on cyan)
2. Avidya left the group in the nether and BTC killed him (5-1=4 players left on cyan)
3. Anderps and mcgamer rushed in to BTC and Vechs like fools, and they didn't wait for seth and pakratt. Vechs's lava bucket + Vechs + BTC killed Anderps and MC (4-2=2 players left on cyan)
4. Seth rush in to BTC and Vechs, and Pakratt is trying to shoot BTC and Vechs to help Seth, but hits Seth and kills him (2-1=1 player left on cyan)
5. Vechs and BTC is hiding and healing up. Pakratt is attacking, but Vechs is up to 24 health and kills Pakratt (1-1=0 players left on cyan)
6. Red team wins by playing strategically and not be derping around and suiciding as cyan did.
This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
*claps*
7thChosen could not have said it better myself.
And pakratt could kill btc and vechs if he rush with sethbling too
UHC means no regen, vechs and btc did some switch thingy so that THEY CAN REGEN :/ if they can regen why even play UHC. when anderz regened he asked avidya to hit him so he will go back to the health he had. So was that win really fair?
Putting aside my last post, I want you all to remember the NUMBER ONE RULE in UHC. *_YOU ARE NOT JUST FIGHTING PLAYERS, YOU ARE FIGHTING THE GAME_*
If the regen was a bug this season, ALL teams had the opportunity to seize it, and you damn better believe that Cyan would have done the same in this situation. The nether regen was a built in feature of this season whether or not you may agree with it. Magenta won FAIR AND SQUARE bitches, and it was AWESOME
^
Are you kidding? The only reason that Blue team lost is because they all played like it was UHC and they had potions. The other team played like it was normal PvP with regen. There is no reason they should have exploited it, they should have just left the nether like they were told.
Supersoup42 "Like they were told"
The only reason that cyan was telling them that is because they knew that they could easily win then.
Yeah man u damn right :)
This is completly true Vechs and Btc won this fair and square Vechs this was great well done and heers to more wins!!
Then portal trapping should be illegal.
The greatest UHC moment ever! I like to re-watch it occasionally.
Wow.
I miss etho
***** for some unknown reason you've dismissed reddit... although there are less 10 y/o on it
***** oh, no I completely agree, as I stated in my 1st comment, I was just referring to how you have dismissed the fighting on reddit, however it is a million times more moderated than youtube, and has less 10 y/o on it
im with you, i dont understand it, even though i watched seth's prespective, i really enjoyed seeing how 2 people could beat 6 people. props to em
The salt of the audience is real.
How?
Dislikes, hateful comments about how their precious mindcrack favorites lost.
It's sad that people can't just be happy for once , no need to dislike a video because the person you were voting for lost. I thought this was a great ending , shows how unexpected things are :)
Like Vechs said on reddit "This is Buttmad 64, only for N64."
they crave that mineral
***** He didn't have a pick or water to make a portal. Hence, "trapped".
actually, the nether regen made the final battle more fair, not less. blue's derping around and sending in their enchanting table and a bunch of golden apples also made the final battle more fair. blue still had potions, equipment, and numbers on their side.
Worgen Death
but it was. there are plenty of other things that could have happened there, like baj lagging out and flying off into the lava oceans. the nether regen shouldn't have been there, but bitching about some freak accident that lead to one team being partly healed by only a couple of hearts by the time one guy got the drop on them when the other team lost because they got too cocky isn't going to help matters. something tells me that if their reunion conversation had gone even a couple of second more smoothly, or if vechs had realized that the other team could have been followed by someone out for glory, baj would have died in a lava trap and the final battle would have been 5v3 instead of 5v2.
Give up? :D
I think a fair thing to do would be if they agreed that the cyan team would go all the way to the border and let the pink go out and then hunt them down.
MrMinecraftGamer
But they could have ran when they fought Vechs and BTC and regen and start again but they didn't, It was their shitty tactics that killed their team.
Haven’t watched this in awhile, still stand the test of time. This era of Minecraft RUclips is incredibly nostalgic
Anders and avidya puched eachother to They original health, did BTC and vechs do that?
They never got a chance to leave the nether therefore didn't have a chance to hit each other back down. So your point is invalid
Jakob you are the stupidest person iv seen, how can they punch each other when they are STUCK in the nether? Your to stupid
Red regen'd 30-40 hearts blue regen'd 5 without regen blue wins 6-0
Rebecca have you ever played minecraft? You dont regen if youre not on full huger
I just watched this season again. It's my favorite. It's a classic win by the underdogs that were outnumbered. Love it.
25:51 That may be the best thing I've ever heard
That laugh is absolute perfection
I was rooting for Cyan since the beginning since I was subbed only to Seth, but you made so well on this one episode, it was actually a great win. I also liked how you put music in some specific points of the videos.
And yeah, I completely understand that anxiety attack, it happens when you need extreme concentration on something, and leaves you exposed afterwards. It's like borrowing your powers from future moments :P
Anyways, good job on winning, that was great.
You earned a sub by the way.
And thanks for the apology at the end.
Ridley Welcome to paradise :)
StealthyTNT People at Sethbling's video are hating as well, LOL
Ridley Yep I saw :) It's hilarious
Vechz, nomatter what they say, everyone had thesame resources. both teams had regen in the nether, it was 6 v 2. you worked with the things you got given, like a map of yours is played. next seaso nwhen trappign portals is banned, itll be all good.
God damnit cura why are you everywhere?! Also are you gonna do more vids on Vech's map?
Thanks man :)
I would of loved for the no-trap rule to be in this season (it will be in next season). I don't quite get the people saying "if you don't like nether trapping why did you do it that match?" I'm going to play the game by the rules it has right then, obviously. It's just after that match is over I lobbied pretty hard against trapping. :)
During a match isn't the time to change the rules on the fly.
***** Dude. They weren't abusing glitches. Stop accusing them. They thought that the other side was trapped.
*****
But remember, Vechs and BTC were trying to leave the nether.
Joebaka13 Yeah, if the nether glitch wasn't a thing, the entire thing would be vastly different. But it was a thing, what can be done about it?
That was a great game guys! I think some people got a bit bitter in the end, but that's okay it's normal to be upset when you lose a game. I am sure they are still friends, so the people in the comment sections/ reddit: please calm down and don't cause any drama. Both teams did their best, and it was entertaining overall. Congrats to the winning team! and Can't wait for the next season.
there is always going to be people who will complain. no matter who won
This to me is the Best UHC ever... even better then 12, funniest and most entertaining one yet this needs to happen again!
***** how is that not legit? explain to me please
James Majesticity Regeneration?
IKR i have never seen a UHC this intense and awesome! IDK why, but i was rooting for red team, and i felt like they would win even when Nebris and btc were both at 3 hearts with mobs around every corner.
I feel your pain Vechs. I sometimes have these panic attacks where I can't stop shaking for a LONG time. Usually happens after an underdog win or something really nerve-wracking like singing in an Open Mic Night. (Yup.)
When that came on screen, I was like WHITE TEXT! Then I read it and went, what the heck? Don't die!!!
Dear salty audience, here's how it is:
1) To all those who complain that Vechs didn't suicide when he was trapped: Shut the Hell up hypocrites!
Both teams were under its effects, both teams acknowledged its existence, and both teams COULD HAVE taken advantage of it, but:
3) Cyan/Aqua wasn't taking this seriously!
Now that we have that out of the way:
To all hating stubborn trolls who will surely attack this comment:
-Try to sound intelligent. No1 is goin 2 take u srsly if u tlk lik dis.
-Have an argument. All you're doing is wasting your own time by saying "Well, you're wrong! You're an idiot! You suck!"
-Once you have an argument, please have your evidence at the ready. No evidence, no argument.
Despite coming out 2 and a half years ago, this episode is by far my favourite of all the UHC ones for so many reasons. Thanks Vechs :D
SPOILER
Cyan got absolutely wrecked at the end. No matter how you feel about the Nether regen bug, Vechs + BTC deserved the win for that performance alone. Cyan would have won had they not blindly rushed in one-by-one. They were completely disorganized.
I think you guys should ban portal trapping for future UHC, though.
they did ban portal trapping from what vechs said at the end :)
***** Not true. Had they just stuck together they would've won with ease.
***** My point is that they couldn't really have stuck together.
*****
So how could they hit each other when regen was on in the nether? They tried going for the other team in the overworld but couldn't because the portal spawned outside the border.
***** They didn't abuse glitches. They thought that the other side was trapped. Learn to watch the video.
I totally agree, just hope next season they ban portal trapping and actually fix the worlds for no regeneration in the Nether. Like, seriously this is MINDCRACK. They should be pros with making these worlds for the best experience.
*****
And how were they supposed to stop the regen glitch from happening when they were trapped in the nether?
*****
Actually, I think Red should still win.
Yes! Thank you! I agree wishing is dangerous but wouldn't the world be so much more peaceful?
***** you now need this somewhere on your intro or outro. ;)
Maturity and wisdom in the RUclips comments happens... ^proof above^
+Sami Leake
never apologizes for other people's bullshit my friend.
Wise owl :)
This win has stuck in my head, 7 years after it released. Still iconic for me and a core memory.
I was more hyped for this episode than I was for Christmas.
Me too
This upset was best Christmas gift.
lol me too
Me too, though I got upset because of these cheaters exploiting a glitch...
Thales Nunes They aren't cheaters. Everyone got the health, it was 6v2 with everyone at full. It was a fair fight, and red won because they strategized while blue did not.
Anyone else incredibly amused about reading these people rage in the comment section? It's actually hilarious.
It's a combination of sad and hilarious most befitting any controversial topic.
That is so me right now?
Meant!
koen bobeldijk Yes, I did meant it ;)
It just makes me sad for the future of humanity.
No wonder wars get started....
6 years ago today. Still the greatest moment in mindcrack history
Yay!!!! And I've had the "arms going numb" thing a couple of times before. And I think playing CTM maps trains you in close melee combat. But this was a FANTASTIC UHC! Thanks for a good time, Vetches.
Glad you enjoyed it! :D
Thank you.
God damn haters maken the pie into a cattle rider
I don't see this as uhc it's just nether pvp I am still waiting for uhc season 19
Y do people keep calling this uhc???
Fantastic troll fail, santana. Better luck next bridge.
***** that was incredible, and I thank you for this amazing season of UHC.
thanks for stating it as it is. seth had even wanted to go as a group but they didn't listen and this was the result
erick salgado Yep, you always have to respect the enemy and have teamwork. Vechs and BTC understood that, cyan did not.
and they didn't even regen between fights this episode. they had a potion and apples. They just played the fight really well.
EpicWaffle_97
But the didn't "exploit" it... the worst you can say is that they were "victims" of it just as anderz and Avidya....
"(scoffing) Slain by Vechs?!" - Seth
Added to favorites, added to that small corner of my memory that I will never forget.
Supersoup42 Exploiting a game's bugs/features is a legitimate strategy unless the group decides against it before the game.
It's been said in previous UHCs that bugs in Minecraft are "part of the game". And since this affects everyone equally it should probably be considered the same.
couldn't have said it better myself
Kurt died from a boat glitch, had ten hearts, a pack of wolves (and enchantments?) I think that was a far bigger glitch.
This fact makes luck an extremely big part of UHC...
It had fantastic fights, fun strategies, overall derps, just a bit of a silly ending.
they had 3 Golden apples that would help a lot and after they killed Avi they got a Health potion
Still that makes them both at about 50% of health, not full health and 3 golden apples and a potion. Without regen, Baj would probably killed them off. Vechs would be at about 3 hearts when Baj fought him and delivered the apples.
yeah but the Blue team could have gone to the nether as well!!
Raise you hand if you waited all fricken day for this.
*raises hand*
🙋
All the salty redditers and youtube commenters have me enjoying today to the fullest. This really is a classic example of baiting an enemy, and they weren't ready for it. It happens on other games just as often, there's even a medal for doing so in World of Tanks.
yeah, they did a great job on cheating their way to a win.
If five people couldn't figure out a way to defeat two, they deserve the loss. Some of the greatest minds in mindcrack were on the other team, they have absolutely no excuse.
Wise words
tryplot How did they cheat?
Getsuga Tsunentaiga
This is not about fighting tactics. This is about hiding behind a potential (un-observable and hardly avoidable) death trap, stalling and using arguably illegal health regeneration.
Well, let's look at the situation in retrospect.
-nether healing was a thing
This worked for everybody equally in the nether, though completely unintended and frowned upon by many, and was still fair game.
-the portal in the nether was trapped:
Since it was not illegal at the time, Vechs and BTC did not HAVE to untrap it. But the game has to go on, so they did what they did and tried to escape.
-it was 5v2
Numbers aren't everything.
-team "aquard" had tons of health
Correction: they had tons of POTENTIAL HEALTH RESERVES, not tons of health. Reserves only matter if you can use them. Splash potions, while instant would also heal your opponent if in melee. Golden apples and potable potions both take time to consume making their use in melee fatal. This brings me to my next point.
-team "aquard" had as massive amount of resources
Realistically, their best approach was a ranged battle with one or two baits, so that they could have taken better advantage of their resources.
I'm sure there are some major and minor points I've blatantly overlooked, but this is my opinion and conclusion:
They were playing a game for US.
"have the end game always at 0,0 on the overworld" Just no.
Vechs might have done that in the overworld but the overworld portal was thought to be trapped by vechs and btc, so they went to the overworld via a new portal to realise they spawned outside
koen bobeldijk do you mean trapped by Anderz and Avidya? Lol
Dat Axe How were Vechs and BTC supposed to know they hit each other to reduce their health? Nobody said to do that in chat. And moreover Vechs couldn't have hit himself if he wanted. He'd regen it immediately since he was trapped in the nether for the majority of the UHC.
*****
Good thing i can still have those 17 purple ruby stones I need to give pete for the Elite 4.
Season 19= best Season ever.
Joel Inzerillo Season 8 still has that :p
finally somebody who agrees with me
Your wrong vechs, in the end it did matter, and you won the game, I loved every second of the fight, and the calls you made at the end were the best.
You can blame the nether regen a little bit, but that's seths fault really.
watching this never gets old
PugMoose I know, right?
Carl DeScott I've watched this at least 10 times.
almost_ famous
LOl i beat ya: 23 XD jk but ive litterally watched it at least 20 times
Shows immaturity from other mindcrack fans that came here and downvoted Vech's video just because of how this ended.
BTC: "I'm so mad right now"
Sethbling: "He's just mad right now"
:D
F**K YES
IKR ITS AWESOME.
***** I posted this as a seperate comment, but I'll tell you now
I want you to remember the NUMBER ONE RULE in UHC. *_YOU ARE NOT JUST FIGHTING PLAYERS, YOU ARE FIGHTING THE GAME_*
If the regen was a bug this season, ALL teams had the opportunity to seize it, and you better believe that Cyan would have done the same in this situation. The nether regen was a built in feature of this season whether or not you may agree with it. Magenta won FAIR AND SQUARE
*****
Well what else were they supposed to do? If they did do a 2v2 or a 2v1 would the rest just kill themselves? Both sides were way too proud to make it fair like that. You heard them saying "im not taking down my health!"
It was part of the game, they won. deal with it.
*****
The regen affected EVERYONE. they ALL HAD A CHANCE TO USE IT.
Vechz had health going into the nether, but btc didnt. Nether regen saved him :/
* numbers are weaker to exploiting an unforeseen glitch.
FTFY
BazookaPig Cyan team had the Regen as well. If they wanted to abuse it they should of had a bow fight
***** Yeah baj gave up 3 full golden apples and 8 gold when he died.
Ultra that's not the point. Btc didnt have the health in the beginning to right but the regen helped him
PSJ needs to see this! Vechs is still formidable.
Please! He got an anxiety attack from winning! Clearly he's gone soft. Someone get me a stick to poke Vechs with.
Coming back and watching this is so funny
Like I get they wouldn’t have won this without the regen but it’s the fact that they trapped the nether portal like watching beach’s perspective just shows you that it was the fact that they trapped the portal in the first place that it ended this way either way it was just a unique uhc
With BTC's assist, of course. ;)
F**K THE HATERS!!!!!!!
*when I say regen was not part of the game" I mean "it should not have been part of the game"
One team regen'd 38 hearts one team regen'd 5... Back would've came in and killed them all if no regen
JamestheDouglas237 So what? They would have won 6-0 in a fair game...
Mikey Rosslow I can't argue with the fact the game wasn't fair, but they could've focused better for the final fight instead of spliting up.
Don't worry about what the negative people say. You did your best and it's just a game, you rocked it!
6 years later his channel is dead. Whoops
I think I speak for all the reasonable people in this comment section when I say: "Red team won, they abused nothing, suck it up."
#smakt
*****
True, true.
***** I see that you're very angry. Cyan and Magenta both had healing, so it's fair in the Nether.
Bobby Cat Well nobody knew about the regeneration in the nether exept BTC, Vechs, Nebris, Avidya, and Anderz. Avidya and Anderz punched each other until they were at they health they were at before without telling anyone that there was regeneration in the nether
Dat Axe The battle happened at the Nether where there's regen. I think it's fair enough for both teams.
If they were at 1/2 they would of re-trapped the portal.
And thanks for taking time to make fun videos for us :)

To everyone talking negatively in the comments:
I'd like to point out that Doc (who's smart and would call bs if there was reason to) listened to both sides saw it as a normal fight.
It's been over 4 years since this happened and I still go back to watch this because it was so epic. Best UHC moment ever
Best UHC I've ever seen. I don't know about anyone else, but the way I watch UHC, I start with one person and watch them play until they get killed, then start watching their killer from when they died. This season I started with Millbee and it was great.
Good job Vechs!
They were so cocky and they got rekt!
Best video of UHC ever!
^
Good job Vechs. I'm proud of you regardless of what everyone else says.
same
great job Vechs! you really deserved that victory! I'm so happy and excited for the next UHC. Keep up the great work Vechs and this UHC nobody will stop talking about "The Big Comeback"!
Everyone had Nether Health Regeneration. No one had an unfair advantage.
think about it WITHOUT nether regen. 2 almost dead red team vs. 5 almost perfect health blue team. red did not deserve this win.
except magenta team.
well more than half of blue werent in the nether at all, so they didnt regen.
merry christmas btw xD
tryplot
Okay, but that wasnt the case here.
Awesomeness*
ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! Great job Vechs! You and Blame earned the W. A lot of people think that some people take UHC too seriously, but the teamwork you both displayed in the nether was one others can learn from. Again, great job...can't wait for season 20! :)
*grabs popcorn
grande1899 nice to see you here
Vechs and BTC deserved this win.
This is the best season to rewatch. I hope there's another uhc with these same rules but with no portal traps or nether regen.
Yeah, I give anderz and avidya credit for that. I was glad when they did that.
PAK GOT A KILL
This was amazing. I loved it. Despite everything, such an unexpected ending. Man, I haven't felt this riveted by a RUclips video in a loooong while. Congrats Vechs, BTC. Great game.
In summary, it's a fight and sometimes you have to play a little dirty to win. Both sides played dirty, but no rules were broken. Sure, maybe some clarification should be made about using the nether, but I don't think we should take this win away from vechz and Blame.
How did the other team play dirty? They got accidental regen.
Blue team played dirty?? There was no ban on portals. And no they didn't benefit of nether regen, they actually compensated for it.
***** for about 6 hearts vs 35
I bow to you, Vechs.
there comes a point when more skill and planning out-does more teamates.
Exactly regen and brains were their other 4 teammates in the end it was a 6v6
tbf all teams were victim of regen
PugMoose
okay so 6v11 but ill give it to blue they tried to win but they messed
I bet you're one of those people that says camping is a legitimate strategy then XD
+ladylililala ITS A LEGITIMATE STRATEGY! -Greg Miller
Vechs don't listen to the dumb comments both teams had regen. GG Red team! Merry Christmas all/Happy Holidays
But red team regened 33 hearts, blue regened 2 hearts
Merry Christmas
This was so epic I thoroughly enjoyed this as an Anderzel viewer! Anderz went cocky and these two got a well deserved victory. Epic Well done
Supersoup42 Both teams had the benefit of regen while in the Nether. That makes the odds even.
If it wasnt for nether regen, pakratt would have atleast 1 kill
Even though vechs used two golden apples and a regeneration potion.
He did get a kill. He got sethbling. ;)
MCGustavo Nope, it was an Instant Health, not regen.
Meaonas Aglaron You win the internet
BEST UHC EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im with you vechs! tingly arms! damn this was so awesome!!
Jesse Corona Not sure if you are just stupid or a troll. Talk about bitching then do it yourself? #Logic
Jesse Corona So it involved you? LOL DUMBASS
Worgen Death I can't believe I fell for that ._.
alright, without armor blue would have died. if milbee hadn't run in with blue's enchanting table red almost definitely would have died. you're arguing hypothetical situations here, and there are an infinite amount of those.
I fully agree with your statement; without nether regen they had no chance against six other mindcrackers
On the other hand... wait, there was no other hand.
KBAMSaMac3 In the end it didn't matter. Cyan had regen as well. Also, cyan threw away their victory, red won fairly.
i want the vechs victory laugh for my ring tone...
If your interested i'll get it for you :P
Brindin for me pls
Brindin yes please, thought id already answered so sorry for not doing so.

//makes another
*GG VECHS*
That was an amazing comeback. Vechs and BTC played that beautifully. It wasn't honourable, but nor are most kills in UHC (sneaking, outnumbering and outgunning are not honourable). It was a beautiful finish to a tense battle. This is probably the most fun I had watching a video in forever. Too bad next season probably won't be able to match it.
