I just realized I read your question wrong
I've gotten a good use of him and I'm mainly using him as a speed-tank and weapon abler frame. Using slow but high damage weapons with him, pressing 4, and watching funny numbers fly.
Sorry, I heard “…subsumed over his 1…” and you lost me right there. Especially for Fireblast? Thermal Sunder is sitting right there…

My gauss prime is crafting rn, very excited to try him out!
So you add a armor stripping ability when thermal sunder can armor strip as long as its over the line in redline just gotta cast it like another time
The best gauss mix between duration and nuking
Brief respite i just use it cus this is a spamable thermal sunder build and if i were hit by electricity i can just spam it over and over till its over, cunning drift,primed continuity,streamline,equilibrium,umbrul intensify,overextended,primed flow,fleeting expertise rank 3 since you only need 170 efficiency,and stretch
Arcanes: molt augmented and efficiency
4 red shards duration and one yellow casting speed
You can switch out umbral intensify for any other mod if you have molt augmented maxed rank i use intensify cus i only need to get 60 kills to get 100% strength back instead of 200 this build took me to level 1k on zariman youll only have 65 seconds of his redline and kinetic plating but the lower the duration the quicker you reach 100% and the quicker you reach invincibility and full potential thermal sunder

This comment section is my exact issue with players in WF and im only a year in. Most of them cant help to not scratch that itch “oh this is better or why arnt u doing this” like damn.
Some people only run meta loadouts, it’s their prerogative. I’ve always tried to make content on fun aspects in warframe and highlight that. There’s plenty of meta loadout content on youtube. Appreciate your comment and hope you are enjoying warframe so far 🙌
@@wellplayedninjas ofc you’re very welcome. I enjoy the more melee side of things so I’ll be around for a long time. To be honest i dont like the open world stuff or circuit cuz i think it’s just boring and tedious but i do like the new netracells stuff, the maps fit my devil may cry songs when im playing so i enjoy that too

what are the gall missions for farming archon shards?
Kahl missions unlock after you finish The New War quest. it's a weekly mission that gives you a specific currency to trade for Archon Shards and Archon Mods, among other things. you have to switch to Drifter's Camp on Earth for Kahl to show up though

DR on gauss? His 2 should give you all the DR you need. Especially if you run him with adaptation.
It ignores ips only
To be fair, Gauss's 2 only protects from IPS, along with Heat, Cold and Blast. You still need to watch out for the other damage types.
That being said, with how fast Gauss's shields recharge and all the moving around you should be doing, you really shouldn't be getting hit at all.
@@NathanTrubyNullstar is great against certain factions who are hyper aggro. Nullstar allows you to REALLY turn your brain off. Nothing meta here, purely for fun.
@@wellplayedninjas no worries, I understand why. It also works well on Gauss since he's one of the few frames that wants to build a ton of duration.
why not put Nullstar over his 2 and keep thermal then?
edit: im assuming bc the range is 34% bc of nullstar 💀💀
