I'm in the city and totally understand. My family were farmers. So I try to urbanstead and keep old traditions alive. Still can, going to try to build a root cellar, digging a garden (hoophouse), support city residents with chickens and save them egg cartons. Now, going to develop a start-up that will have a heavy influence to Ag. 🐓

For those of you trying to start a flame war based on whether or not Luke Bryan was ever at one point country or always pop then you need to go listen to his "I'll Stay Me" album. True it's not the greatest album in the world but you know what? You want pure country that he sings, then go there.
Yes he has been becoming increasingly pop in recent years but there are still songs I believe to be actual country on each album. Even Kill the Lights, the most pop album yet, has "Little Boys Grow Up and Dogs Get Old".
Crash My Party had "Goodbye Girl".
Tanlines and Tailgates had "Harvest Time", "You Don't Know Jack", and "Tailgate Blues".
Doin' My Thing had "I Did It Again", "Doin' My Thing", "Rain Is A Good Thing", "Welcome to the Farm", and "What Country Is".
So before you go criticizing an artist over his music maybe you should go listen to that music first. You might even find you like some of those songs.

I've lived on a goat farm my whole life. We sell the babies for profit and we grow tomatoes and cucumbers. I'm so glad to finally see a song telling people of our struggles. Its also sad to see all this hate on this song when I feel it gives me support.

It’s 9 at night and I’m still in the field since 0430 this morning planting corn. This so ng came across a playlist I’m my JD and was the first I heard it. This song hit home on every lyric even down to the handshake blanker.
