My Brother-in-law just sold his chicken farm. and guess what, another big feed company bought him out. A feed company that already owns far too many farms. The farms are too big. Nobody can afford to buy these farms. Fewer and fewer farms, and bigger and bigger. They cannot even be passed on to the children.( Even Bill Gates goes about buying ranches, takes the cattle off,to keep the cows from farting). My cousin has been buying up dairy farms. This is my favorite Paul Harvey piece. You so beautifully matched it with your video. Thank you.
The American Farmer is the backbone of this great country. Period.
I’m from Northeast Ohio and frequently drive west through our Heartland. Some think the scenery on such a drive is boring - just flat land and a bunch of fields. They don’t see what I see, including that which is not apparent from the view from the highway.
Our Heartland states are NOT “flyover states”. They are “drive through” states. Just beautiful!
Salute to all of you farmers big and small, the beautiful families and generations of farmers you have raised.
Please know that this Ohio boy appreciates you and your good work!
    God Bless our farmers.

I’m A Proud FarmHer and a Proud daughter of a Farmer that was also a 20 year Navy Veteran in Korea and WW II. Gosh how I miss my daddy! He could tell me how to fix my JD Tractor! There was nothing he couldn’t do or fix! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️
