Great Jessa i always learn something extra from your knowledge it's 5.45 am morning and I am enjoying your video trying to learn from your experience 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
In fact this tutorial is really impressed me, I can say this is the first RUclips video that teach me what I’m searching for ❤. I have interest with your Training
You can definitely fake the NTC on the top board with a resistor equal to the room temp resistance value of the NTC. So just measure the NTC at room temp, then on top board place a resistor of that value between that same line and ground. (If you knew the part number of the NTC you could just look it up in that datasheet. A common value is 10K ohm) Also, Steinhart-Hart Equation is the math the microcontroller most likely uses to calculate the temperature btw.
Yep. I'm currently making a fake battery for a mobile internet device (to power it from a wall socket instead of battery). I had to fake the battery temperature sensors with resistors to get it to boot. I used the same method to get the values.
Depending on whether the signal is active hi or active lo, you could tie it to hi or lo to prevent it being an issue again. Of course, you'd lose the temp sensing, but if you just need to recover data it may be a valid workaround.
I am currently having this issue with my iPhone 12 pro max!! Very strange on apples side. My cellular connection is a total lost and he device thinks it’s hot but it isn’t hot!!! Thanks for the video!
I watched the video again. I think it may be a safety feature to also protect the battery from over heating while the phone is powered on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Android (Specifically Samsung) phones have a similar feature and at times shutdown/ power off the phone if it is in use.
Makes GPS useless without A/C. You have to leave the thing playing music as verification that it's still awake or read the map and pay attention like we did before.

When most of us with fine vision reach around 47 years old, we find that our arms are no longer long enough for us to be able to read. I personally went for a year thinking the screen on my newfangled digital camera was blurry (late nineties!). But I finally tried someone's reading glasses and I could read again. If anything I bet the microscope is eye exercise delaying the inevitable day when we can no longer focus on very close objects.
To completely overengineer the solution, find an app that gives you a read out from one of these thermal sensors, then wire up a potentiometer in place of the NTC thermistor
Nice job ,God bless you more please what is software you using to find the fault ,tell me the name I need it here to download or link to download it please,🙏💕👍👍✅✅✅💯

hey. I get the same issue with heat warning. I suspect the iPhone has a minor water damage. I got it soaked a little 3 days ago. It run fine so fat but now it spams me with the message. Maybe the battery connector got a little corroded. Any remedies?

I'm the 214 like. Thanks for this education of a iPhone problem. My eyes got damaged by vehicles that coming at me with bright lights when they don't pay attention to turn off the... Bright to dim.
31:06 kinda sounds like there’s a “storage bug” issue going on; which Apple keeps trying to fix w/ updates. Believe iOS 15.6 does indeed finally fix the storage bug, but won’t be released till next Monday or Tuesday (7/25 or 7/26). Wonder if the storage bug issue will “solve some issues” w/ ppl having the “full storage warning message” etc….. Thx for a very interesting stream Jessa; super enjoyed this, and do agree that phones are mini PCs that fit in palm of hand; still find it awesome that there’s microSD cards that can hold 4TB of data, how TRULY AMAZING is that, compared to back when we had bulky Storage drives/servers that would have to be created to hold that kind of data ¹ ¹ yes ppl, know we still need and have servers, NAS, SAS, etc….that can hold PB and so on, but it really is awesome when you grew up w/ a computer that had the storage ability of MB, NOT GB, let alone TB😉😅
Can i remove ntc resistors? having this issue with 11 pro max. Every 15 mins appear the message (nearly) flash is disabled and phone need to be cooldown but my phone isn't hot.
It's our age, unfortunately. We are old and our eyes are fucked. It's the flexible lense in our eyes. It gets hard and stops adapting. So we need to compensate with external lenses for each and every distance now. Or we build an autofocus for our eyes.
I have a 14 pro max, similar thing seems to be happening to mine after I left it on a wireless charger for about 30 minutes. Picked it up, was warm to the touch but nothing terrible, unlocked and it started to boot loop. Had to recover from itunes, come to boot and now it's stuck with the temperature warning. Planning on going to a apple certified shop tomorrow as it's still in warranty and see what they tell me.
12 pro max gets a fake temperature warning after drop, it’s due to separation of the layers. If the drop is noticeable then Apple will not warranty the device
@@kayladawn9486 I originally went to Best Buy but they told me to go to an Apple Store or send it to Apple for the repair. Taking it in to the Apple store after about an hour they returned it and the limited warranty covered the cost.

Do you know why there’s a temp sensor on both charge port and power button? Are they for ambient air sensing?
Jessa is so smart !
Thanks 👍
you helped me. Thanks from Kyrgyzstan.
Thank you ❤
Nice job Jessa!
What happened to the good old days where you can drop your phone And there was no such thing as ripped pads lol

Definitely separation of the top and bottom layers of the logic board
thanks Queen

ive seen it on 12 pro max and 13 pro max, sent them both to apple. now I will probably try fixing

I'll try the static resister first . If that doesn't work try injecting 1/2 volts. Or try both at the same time, might sound crazy but it's Apple.
