I don't remember which submarine it was but it was amazing to see the inside of it. I got to see their torpedoes which was the 1st time ever seeing one. I also got to tour the ship the movie Titanic was filmed on. They didn't tell us at 1st. When we got to the engine room I instantly recognized the steam engines from the movie and then they told us about how they filmed the engine room scene there. Then they showed us the spot where they went into the car in the movie during the love scene. That was an awesome tour as well. That ship is still in operation. It has big guns on the deck that I got to take pictures with.

I know it's not the same type of submarine, but Smarter Everyday got to make a few videos onboard of a US Los Angeles class Attack Submarine and it makes this sub roomy and spacious.
Russian submarines have been incredibly successful and impressive. They started basically from scratch with submarines in the 30ies and 40ies, and went on to make submarines a few decades later that weren’t just among the best in the world, but in some cases were a decade ahead of Western submarines.
This was a really good episode! Some technical stuff, some good views of the endless wiring and plumbing inside the submarines, we got a good level here. No matter how defence or military enthusiast you are, we should always hope that super powers with Nuclear arsenals never go at war with each other, if there is a full blown war, it engulfs all of us. Let the politicians fight by the means of trade and sanctions but not war.
Means of trade and sanctions Will lead to wars, look at history Japan for example in WW2 , the war happened because america block oil shipping to Japan and raw materials to crush Japan economy and wars weapons development, the solution not by trade sanctions but talk and mutual understand with respect to each others concerns and thinking.
Wel, they didn't publish any militairy secrets, did they ? And probarly the average Joe would not even understand that, while the militari proberly already know lots of relevant things.
I really like the new narrator! The last one was good too, but the voice was a bit too dramatic for me. I think having the original Russian audio for people and English subtitles would be better though, I use these videos to practice my Russian!

Our cruise ship stopped in Petropavlosk. Those who were on an excursion got off the ship quickly while those who wanted to walk around the town had to wait for about 5 hours for the Russians to stamp the passports. The Russians were not in a hurry.
interesting video, I have mixed thoughts about such vessels. As their so deadly do we, (the people of all nations) want them cruising the worlds oceans? Yet is it because of them, the super powers are forced to respect the need for peace as no one side would win an all out war. Unlike the submarines of the past, the master and crew's of all such vessels hold worlds existance in their hands. I could rabbit on for ages about the fear of having such vessels, but i guess we all have our own thoughts on such matters, i'm just grateful that the training and selection of such men is taken so serious, regardless of what flag they sail under.
You got a new Narrator? It should be called "Combat Improved" now. It is nice to get first hand footage, instead of "super secret" blurry pics, with 5-cornered Adjectives written all around it. Thanks for the insight. I didn't know, "Alexander Nevsky" is a Submarine now. Operating such a large base under those conditions is indeed impressive. And Kudos to all the Divers out there.

@@combatapproved2113 I only know enough bad Russian words to prank call one of their submarines. There is a aquaphone. Only way I will learn more is with subtitles.
They really say 'tough guy'? We weed those out on the first day.
Merry Christmas and happy new yr combat approved bring on 2022 with more awesome shows, your biggest fans from Auckland N.Z🙂🙂
Thanks for showing the cool stuff...much appreciated
Old version better! Russian voice , more authentic. This is a must 👍👍🎃🎃
Combat Approved Rocks. Brilliant stuff guys, great work. 👍
Top secret, on the internet, sounds promising.
Thank you Z for showing your advance good looking corvette to the world..
Thank you.. hat off from Malaysia.
Our cruise ship stopped in Petropavlosk. Those who were on an excursion got off the ship quickly while those who wanted to walk around the town had to wait for about 5 hours for the Russians to stamp the passports. The Russians were not in a hurry.
FANTASTYCZNY film....dziekuje
interesting video, I have mixed thoughts about such vessels.
I could rabbit on for ages about the fear of having such vessels, but i guess we all have our own thoughts on such matters, i'm just grateful that the training and selection of such men is taken so serious, regardless of what flag they sail under.
fascinating military documentary...
I love how the mighty Russian Navy drives Toyota Rav4's around the base.
I love how the mighty usa took Russian soyuz as only lift to space station for decade.
Japanese cars are the best in the world. Most intelligent people including the Russian Navy acknowledge this fact.
@@ayansengupta6592 it still does, also the us has bought a whole bunch of N1 engines from Russia
I like Ford 🤷♂️
everyone likes Toyota even ISIS, wouldnt be caught dead without one
I,way inpatients!!
Espero impasientemente new episode!!
When will be video of Su 75 checkmate? Greatings from Serbia! 🇷🇸🇷🇺
NICE!!! BRAVO!!!
Finally I know what submariners have inside the lil bag
*Thank you combat approved*
Very nice video
It’s amazing how much effort, money and time is put into military defenses. If we spent that time and effort in more productive ways the world would be such a better place. Still cool to see
BS The world is developing only under mutual destruction threat.
DAMN!! WHAT A GREAT DOCUMENTARY!!
Fantastic to watch this episode. Many thanks for recording and sharing this.
PLEASE remove the English translation. Alexys voice is so entertaining. I don't speak Russian, but hearing him talk and reading the captions are enough for me.
