    We GHANAIANS peg our cedi to the Dollar (&) and Pound (£), and rather think our cedi is weak.
    We wish to be at power with the US dollar

  • @geoffreyosuji6166
    @geoffreyosuji6166 19 дней назад +5

    Ghana seems more expensive cos of how drastic the naira depreciated. If the cedi keeps appreciating against the naira, a 4 cedis egg could be 450 or 500 naira tomorrow. One thing is that, it could be easy to find 20 cedis a day in Ghana but it's not so to find 2000 naira in Nigeria. I think Nigerians in Ghana or those who go there try to use the conversion rate to make us console ourselves that Ghana is not better after all. Naira keeps crumbling before the pound and dollar, yet no one complains about how expensive those countries are. I'm surprised to here that there's just about 260 naira difference of fuel price, cos pump price in Nigeria is not uniform. You can get litre of petrol for 1200 naira in states other than Lago's. Ghana isn't that expensive as we paint it to be.

    What some nigerians don't understand is that no 2 economies are the same. Therefore, you can not use exchange rate differences to compare prices. If you did that, you couldn't live in any western country.

    When sick and have no appetite, LIGHT SOUP is the best meal for the sick, no matter your lost of appetite, you can't reject it.
    Some take the Soup with "Agidi". you need not have any special cravings or appetite to consume.
    When family visit the sick at the hospital, and especially those who avoid food at this crucial time, they normally serve them with LIGHT SOUP plus "Agidii" or Kafa (corn meal wrap in green leaf).

    These are all village people talk,
    Every Ghanaian is proud to be from Ghana,
    It is rather Nigerians who often deny their Own Identities and claim to be Ghanaians, We are very happy and Content with Ourselves, whether we have Something or not

    Ei bra Kofi you will put on weight in Gh. Rice is eaten with left over soup or made for the purpose of. Sometimes they don’t want to eat heavy then you can cook rice and eat with it. If you like you can make it into rice balls. BTW why do Nigerians shout even simple conversations. Asking the bread seller he should have been more polite

    Was Braa Kofi starving in Nigeria? We understand good food is affordable in Ghana but reduce meat/carb consumption, balance your food with veggies. This guy’s too loud on the streets,talking so loud as if he’s deaf, I couldn’t even hear a word. 😂😂
