In the 1960s when the first president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was spearheading African Unity, a Nigerian politician said, "in a matter like this, it is the elephant which must lead." Actually he's the only president from the Anglophone world but the Ivorian president too soeaks English very well and he's used to work at IMF while Akuffo Addo was a Lawyer so you can see that Ivory Coast and Ghana are not joking because they're both competing in West Africa we Ghanaians to are learning it too make things easier for us here because we are actually circle of many Francophone countries around

My Ghana cedi used to be higher than British pounds during the days Osagyifo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.It start depreciation after Nkrumah was overthrown,meanwhile Nigerians NAIRA only get stronger when Nigerians discover oil in their country and Ghanaians economy crushed completely.So I personally don’t understand why Nigerians always talk down on Ghana Cedi.Maybe Kofi was born in 80’s so he don’t know much about Ghana history.So I think he better learn much about Ghana before he proceeds to make any comment about Ghana. I wish him good luck.
