Absolutely these style lifts have revolutionized the home shop and they are truly economical. I remember being around the old service station lifts as a kid and I remember lifting trucks and they only came up 3-4 feet or so because they were so heavy, but you could change tires and maybe change oil they didn’t have any safety’s just air over hydraulic and hope it didn’t leak...Lol
I have owned Challenger lifts since 1983 for use with cars and light trucks. I have lifted wreckers and 1 ton duallys with my Versymmetric lifts, with no issues and complete confidence for safety. If around the Houston Tx area, I suggest contacting John with A E S Equipment, good people....

I purchased and installed my 2 post lift several years ago.. I have saved much more than the initial cost of the lift by doing my own work on my 2 vehicles, plus it has come in handy multiple times to work on various pieces of equipment.. One of the best investments I ever made.. Install is not complicated.. Takes time and careful safety measures

Santa came early!!!!! Looks like someone was a really good boy this year. That 2 post lift is an excellent addition to the shop. I bought & installed a used lift in my shop. Boy I'd use one in a heartbeat. I used to do all my oil changes flat on my back then used steel ramps then just "pay the guy"! It would make it easier just to replace shear pins on my snowblower auger instead of sitting in the snow! I still use the steel ramps on my mighty Cub Cadet lawn tractor!

Some years back, I built a similar system using a pair of Harbor Freight ramps mounted to an Eagle 9000lb asymmetric lift. I welded short lengths of 1/4x2 strap iron to each end of the ramps and replaced the screw pads on the arms with pieces of pipe welded to the strap. It's not as heavy duty as shown here but it will handle a small tractor or zero turn with ease and it's fully adjustable and installs in minutes

In the process now of a garage addition (to house recent and future 'toys') and loved seeing your lift installation process. I don't think we can go above 12' here though due to various things. Am certainly gonna try for the LC model though as 12' is all that is required. I couldn't agree with you more about the get'n old and trying to save your back. Although, mine has had 2 surgeries and am in constant pain and taking meds. I do what I can though and this lift would greatly help me out. Thanks for all the great info about it in this video.

I have the entry level lift.. It lifts my F250 with 6.4 Diesel all the time. No problem No struggle at all.
Tim, you will love your lift!!! I put in a Rotary Revolution and it lifts my Excursion Diesel no problem!!! You will kick yourself for not doing it sooner!!

Pretty neat idea with the turf thing kind of the best of both worlds between a 2 or 4 post lift. I have a 4 post lift but I can’t put my tractor or quads on as they are to narrow.

I have 4 of them myself but there all older. 2. Jd318 1 jd 420 currently getting a new engine and my jd 4200 they range from 1985 to 1999 And we all know if you got a Deere you got a tractor for life

We have the 10k lb challenger lifts at work. They pick up a dually. My silverado crew cab 3500hd isn't over 10k lbs unless its loaded
