I've been struggling with my disc priest and a guildie sent me one of your videos on discing, and I fell down the rabbit hole of your channel since I'm a resto shaman main that's trying to push past the +10-12 range and struggling a bit. Thanks for all the content! No worries on the burnout, I know the feeling. This last year has been a living nightmare for a lot of us and that weighs on everyone, but even moreso on someone who has to put on a face and present in front of an audience without letting that stress and anxiety show through. Everyone goes through phases of confidence (and lack thereof). Sometimes it's easy to forget that you're just a person on the other side of the screen; you taught me this xpac how to shaman, heal, and key, and this is the first time I've ever done any "serious" content, so it's also easy to forget that you're not just some sort of idea in my head of a gold standard, key-crushing, teaching machine. Thank you for sharing the personal side before you launched into the video proper! (And I loved the content, especially the sort of expanded convo on stats, and the section on Prides. It will help me fine-tune some things, and answered some questions I haven't been able to find out on my own)

I took a 7-8 year hiatus from wow and the learning curve was steep coming back, and your videos gave me the knowledge and confidence to regain my skills, and learn new ones. Vesper totem for pride is great, if your team is grouped up for max dps to limit movement during the line cast, your totem heals pretty big 3 times. I usually heal the noob not near the totem, and let the totem proc heal the group. I think its underrated, but i like it.

with primal tidal core and necrolord, when you time your primo wave with undulation, the swirling currents conduit and cloudburst totem is the best burst healing there is, + instant 20-30k healing in cloudburst and the fact you can use it every 45 seconds
I find Riptide does the largest portion of my healing in lower keys. It's powerful enough to top party members unless they're really getting hammered, and the lack of cast time means I can spend more time casting offensive spells. If more healing is needed, I immediately spend the Tidal Waves buff on Healing Surge and they'll almost certainly be topped. Also, Static Charge is so good in low-level pugs. Players almost never use their AoE CC below +10. Between Cap Totem and Wind Shear, you can lock down almost any group, at least to the point that you can avoid the really dangerous mechanics.

Recently started actually pushing and gotten every key to 18 still using mother tree but hear alot of other resto druids are using Verdant Infusion. What is recommendation? Ps. Keep up the good work!
Thoughts on night fae? Feels really good to do a full group heal with cloudburst and transfusion and the soulbinds are great. Only issue is the high end m+ meta needs healers as venthyr

Hey Grom, I'm having trouble tracking the pridefull buff on the pride mob. Not the actual buff once we kill it, but the stacking buff on the boss. Are you using a weakaura to track that or is it in, say, an elvui profile setting?

What do you think of me maybe using more chain heals, or maybe using different leggos. Perhaps use a different healer? I have mained every healer at some point or another and I feel if anyone can do this comp is a Shaman. I'm just looking for ways I can take it to the next level. We are having trouble at Da Other Side(Dealer is a nightmare) and Sanguine Depths can be hard too. Thanks!
I feel that deeply rooted elements is the go to legendary for m+. It's so underrated. The free healing from the splash proc makes it worth it alone. It procs a lot!

@@maikel3572 He's just pointing out the obvious, and you're losing a lot of credibility by saying 'numbers' in M+ while talking about healing. As for DRE, it's not a good M+ legendary by design - it contributes nothing to damage (and there are leggos such as Verdant Infusion which are pure healing and yet they do), and even has a negative impact in that regard over *not wearing one* - needless to say damage contribution was important in m+ since its conception. DRE is a healing proc - questionable enough already in m+ setting as it is for obvious reasons - that you can only utilize by agressively RTing on cooldown, regardless of the actual need of healing or Tidal Waves charges. You will also CB on cooldown rather than using it properly to mitigate that humongous overhealing amounts. Reminder - you do all that *just* to reap the benefits, while people with Tidal Cores/Deeptremors/Spiritwalkers get consistent controlled benefit they can rely on and plan around. More than enough to lay that ugly thing off in favor of one of those.

There is merrit in what you say but I don't think that the current design of legendary makes any difference in what you use up to 15 you can even run 15 without one and it does not matter. These things only add into convenience. The reason there is quantity over quality is to compliment people's playstyle if they were a must there would be less of them and the impact more detrimental. Maybe 20s is when it start to matter but blizzard even doesn't feel that those hight keys are for the majority.
the night fea ability is very simular to the ventir you put down a circle drain life from enemies and then press the abilitie again to release it. i like the ventir version more :)

As for DRE, it's not a good M+ legendary by design - it contributes nothing to damage (and there are leggos such as Verdant Infusion which are pure healing and yet they do), and even has a negative impact in that regard over *not wearing one* - needless to say damage contribution was important in m+ since its conception. DRE is a healing proc - questionable enough already in m+ setting as it is for obvious reasons - that you can only utilize by agressively RTing on cooldown, regardless of the actual need of healing or Tidal Waves charges. You will also CB on cooldown rather than using it properly to mitigate that humongous overhealing amounts.
Reminder - you do all that *just* to reap the benefits, while people with Tidal Cores/Deeptremors/Spiritwalkers get consistent controlled benefit they can rely on and plan around. More than enough to lay that ugly thing off in favor of one of those.

There is merrit in what you say but I don't think that the current design of legendary makes any difference in what you use up to 15 you can even run 15 without one and it does not matter. These things only add into convenience. The reason there is quantity over quality is to compliment people's playstyle if they were a must there would be less of them and the impact more detrimental. Maybe 20s is when it start to matter but blizzard even doesn't feel that those hight keys are for the majority.
the night fea ability is very simular to the ventir you put down a circle drain life from enemies and then press the abilitie again to release it. i like the ventir version more :)
