Hello Zach, I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I’ve never been to a farm, ranch or place that produces the product that’s normally on my dinner table every evening! I didn’t put any thought into the effort others made to make sure I had what I was looking for when I visited my local grocery store. I didn’t have any interest in the farming world and didn’t think I would unless something dramatically happen to our supply or quality, until I found your channel! I’ve seen the effort your family put in to producing high quality product. How concern you are with the environment and not polluting the water supply. You showed your family and that you’re a loving caring father and husband. You took us to your racing world and helped us relate (I also race, Drag race). Before I met you, farming was some foreign place, ran by foreigners, who really didn’t care about my health! Thank you Zach showing me your life and the world of farming! P.S. “For pete’s sake Zach, do something about LED lights!”
Thanks for the awesome comment Kevin! I have 2 or 3 videos that directly address water quality (specifically drain tile). My kids, wife, and I all swim in the lakes here and we drink our well water straight out of the hoses. Understanding nutrients and how they move within the soil and water is very important to us. Not only from a local environment perspective but also from a financial perspective because we pay a LOT of money for those nutrients. We need them to stay in our soil. Hope that helps, thanks for watching, I love hearing from non-farmers who watch!
Zach, I commented on this before but I have to say it again, watching this vid and watching your earliest vids is like night and day. You have great screen presence young man (even when you are pretend sleeping). You and Becky have also come along way in regards to editing, very creative and very entertaining. I really like the way that when you really don’t have a lot to teach me you can still make me chuckle anyway. Keep ‘em coming. Very enjoyable.
Time Carpenter - got my Lock-N-Lube!!! THANKS Zach!! I agree with you Tim... Zach and Becky are You Tube examples to learn from. I'm still working on how to do that finger snap thing making stuff appear in a snap....
Trent lol, thats not the case when you drive 1990 ford 6610 tractor, after long day on the seat you get backaches muscle pain from constant steering, and you go off it hearing nothing, the beep in the ears stay until the next morning :)))
@@nbssms Haha yea I have spent the majority of my time in tractors with autosteer so I can relate to this. Glad I didn't have to deal with what you have described!
Zach just saw your interview with FarmFlix! I think what you're doing is really cool. You're super entertaining but also provide great education for those of us that have never worked on a farm. Keep it up!
How does this vlog get any better? Absolutely spot on entertainment for us. Can’t say enough about your presence on RUclips and the value it provides. Just well done man
Zach, Keep making the videos, laughter is the best medicine, I enjoy watching all of your videos. I live here in Kansas, Wichita to be exact, I have a friend of mine who is a wheat farmer, corn, and soy beans and my mom lives close to a wheat farmer who has now sold his land, and my ancestors were farmers, so farming something I've always been around. Thank you for all the hard work that you do as well as all the hours you put in to put food on our table everyday, without farmers there wouldn't be the good food that we have today if it weren't for all of the farmers who bust there butt out in the fields everyday for us.
A guy can get pretty sleepy after a long day in the tractor. I remember my dad telling me about a time when they were running 24 hours in the spring because it was so late. He nodded off in the tractor in the middle of the night & he said it took him several minutes to find his way back to where he left off. Lucky for him there were no big ditches or anything like that. We finished with tillage & I hope you guys get a lot done as they are talking rain tonight. Thanks for the video.
thedonleroy I've nodded off in the field a few times before. When the eyes start getting heavy it's a good time to get out and walk around for a minute!

Zach, just wanted to let you know I have been watching your channel since the get go and it keeps getting better and better as the time goes on. Keep up the good work sir. Greetings from Nebraska
Im new to your Channel But i really love your business sense and your family values, Plus your editing skills make your videos fun to watch. Keep up the good work and be safe.
I love the skip a pass method. I used to do that back when we ran a track machine on our chisel. It really helped tame down the turnaround mess on the end rows.
We do our spring tillage with a landoll vt plus. You have to go about 9mph to do a really good job and it is a real joyride if you make a mess with the chisel!
Unfortunately we are all in the same boat, trying to do tillage with the cold weather setting in faster than we had hoped. This has been one challenging fall again. Your videos always make me smile, even with our stress levels elevated.
Oh. The memories,,,,,,,, People can’t believe it when I tell them how monotonous running farm equipment is....... at least I never had auto steer, ,, That would be just torture... to this day the only task that can keep me awake is running a round baler..... it only gives you 30 or 40 seconds between having to do something or alarms start sounding... cheers..
try running a hedge cutter on hedges backed with wire .....or cutting roadsides on twisty narrow busy roads filled with impatient car drivers ......that will keep u busy and alert ....recks your eyes after a while

I spent many hours in 4020 John Deere with 4 bottom plow going 3 miles per hour listening to a m radio with lights that barely shined ahead of the front wheels. Those were my favorite memories.
LMAO - "My boy Blue". There are so many subtle themes hidden in this video that relate to the emotions of spending a long day in the tractor when its late in the season and you know that the weather is closing in on you. i.e - Slow fuel pump, GPS needs to be set when you hit the field, the importance of a good "Hard Rock Oldies" station to stay awake, .... at not least, singing along to the radio and believing it sounds good.
