You are a hoot! You know that cow was standing up right before you drove by? You’d understand that comment if you’ve ever seen The Far Side comic strip. Haha 🤣 I enjoy your videos very much. My husband and I just bought some land that has been in his family for over 200 years and your videos help me understand farming better. Thanks for taking the time to educate but also to be a really great Dad to your kids and a sweet husband to your wife. This country needs to see more families like yours, hardworking, honest, dependable and trustworthy. We too loved to pull the kids on sleds behind 4-wheelers when they were little but now we ride Skidoo sleds in northern Michigan as a family and we still have so much fun!! Take care, God bless.
MN Millennial Farmer You sure show everybody who watches this, a learning experience for thos who was not raised on a farm, and the best part is that you have got humor, you make people laugh. Keep doin' what you are doin'
Just found your channel after playing Farming Simulator and searching youtube... now i find myself fascinated with the heavy machinery and complexity in your day to day tasks. The equipment is enormous! How you manage to do all this and run a YT channel with fantastic content is a feat of strength!
I went from Kansas City to Springfield Illinois and back yesterday. As soon as I got to Berry IL I hit a the snow storm. It started snowing hard all the way to Springfield. On the way back it snowed clear back to Hull IL in the river bottoms. But when I got to Hannibal MO less then 10 miles a way the sky was blue and there were combines in the fields along US36 picking corn and beans. Crazy ass wether! Great Video as always! Stay warm and safe.
I'm so glad I have subscribed to your channel. All of this is so interesting to watch and so satisfying sometimes. Your knowledge and passion really made me fall in love with your channel! Like my grandmother always said, do what you love to do... and she's right! Thank you for sharing the world of farming!
Another great video, keep up the great work and your sense of humor. . Don't let a few ignorant haters stop you from what you do best! Thanks and happy thanksgiving to you and yours.
it is cold here in Southern California also..I had to put my winter shorts on today and I was not happy lol...I BOW to you all that deal with those crazy cold winters!...Keep the Challenger
Love your videos Zach! I am from south Louisiana so we don't get any snow here at all typically. Every few years we may see a little. The main thing we farm down here is sugar cane and in my area strawberries. I have about 10 acres on my property that I plan on attempting a crop of strawberries thanks to your inspiration here. And I am getting my new green tractor next week!!! Nothing huge just a 3036r most likely. But I am super excited to embark on this new journey. You have no idea how many of us are inspired by your videos. And how many others are living vicariously through your content. Thank you so much for sharing your life and family with the world!!!
WOW! It be COLD there!!!! 46 degrees last night at a football playoff game! We were freezing!! 63 degrees outside in East Texas this afternoon!! Stay as warm as ya can!!!
Seen some farmer here in north east Ok. Combining beans tonight. we had snow here monday little earlier than normal for us. Have got trees with green leaf on them had been warm till about two weeks ago.
Great video of the kids and you enjoying what nature brought ya. While you may not have been able to get allot done work wise you can make up for with the family.
Father in Law had a Challenger and a John Deere just like the ones Y'all own... He had a 3 Pt. hitch on the front with a blade for moving snow... They worked awesome around here
Thanks for showing the people down in the southern states what they are missing during the winter months. LOL. There is quite a bit of corn standing in the fields up here to. We have a guy in the area that has over a 1000 acres of corn left & at least 1000 acres of beans. Boy am I glad that's not me. Thanks for the video.
I've been putting off taking out my battery in my riding lawnmower before sheding it for the winter. You guys bust tail everyday in this stuff. Respect
I laughed so hard when you put your window down and had a talk with that cow and it just started at you like why are you disturbing this feast I am having. That was good. Keep it up mate you really are entertaining
It snowed Monday night where I live. Tuesday the soybeans looked like cotton in the part of the field that the trees blocked wind. I got my soybeans out at the home place today. They are yielding good and the moisture was about 12.5%.
Great video as usual. We finished our harvest here on the east coast of Canada of seed potatoes , but lots of farms have potatoes left in ground frozen, corn and soybeans left to be harvested. Snow has started so not sure if guys with beans will get them or not, but corn most likely.
@@MillennialFarmer Ya its a tuff situation here. And some of the last potatoes to be harvested have frost damage so growers are hoping they don't breakdown in storage.
Had to laugh when you were cleaning the floor with that little shovel!😂. At least I now know I have one piece of equipment bigger than yours!! That what she said!🤣😈
Hey Zach...love ur content. We are from Sioux Falls. Ever make it down here? I've met Brian Hefty. We farm in SW Iowa. My dad passed away 4 years ago and I still manage the family farm down there.
When the Challenger arrived I was like what is that yellow thing, it needs to go. However it has become my favorite tractor. Going to hate to see it go.
FYI, International Harvester invented the rotor type combine in the 70's. The first large axial flow combine was a 1480. The rest of the implement manufactures did not come around with the rotor for I think 17 years after the patent rights expired.
I had no doubt that the approach you all were taking would pay off in the end. Due to the fact that I can recall one of my uncle's harvesting the crops he had planted during the Thanksgiving holiday. Due to the fact the weather turned bad through the beginning of harvest time when we would go to visit.
I suggest you cover those belt motors to give them weather and safety protection, but make them easy for maintenance. Maybe a roof over the lot to protect all motors and control panels. Protection will help them last longer and have fewer breakdowns. Good to see the kids enjoying the weather. Boy to be young again.
Found your channel through Arthur Chapman's RUclips channel. Enjoying your videos. Please keep the snow over there. I don't want any here in Virginia...
Our daughter's school bus stop is at the end of along country road. I used to pick her up with the Gator and pull her all the way back on a deer sled. Now she's 15 and too sophisticated...
Winter time problems, the wind was always a pain for me. I like the fun with the 4 wheeler, we always used a tractor or truck tube and would do 90 degree turns and even the figure 8 to see who could hang on the longest. We called it the Tuge. We had a lot of fun with a fire barrel to keep the fallen champions warn until next round. Great memories.
You just brought back some great old memories of playing in the snow. When I was a kid growing up in Oklahoma, we stripped down a radio flyer wagon to just the tub, made some reins to hang on with outta rope, and dragged it right on the tub bottom behind 3 wheelers in the winter snow........We found out it was even more fun in the summer. :D We added a plywood heat shield to keep it from setting our butts on fire under the folded towel we used for a cushion and pulled it though hayfields and down gravel roads all day after chores.... Lasted two summers before it ground its way through the bottom....Was a total blast, made it like havin snow in the warmth of the summer.. I'm still picking big bluestem seeds and cactus needles outta my teeth today...... LOL Love Your videos.
Recently watched a Deer farmer that was a long distance from a dealer. When he had a breakdown he was not able to get his machinery in to be worked on. He wanted to have access to download repair information but was not allowed how do you feel about that.
I used to love riding in the sled while dad pulled it through the snow on the ol Polaris but we’ve since sold the Polaris and bought canams and I’ll tell u what a difference in hp
Speaking of snownuts, there's something 4WD tractors can do that's fun. When on a slippery surface, hit one of the turning brakes and steer into the slide. It makes for a pretty cool sidecrab effect :-D But two disclaimers! Have at least a roll cage + seat belt!Getting thrown off would be extra nasty. And only do it on slippery stuff. It there's too much grip you could damage the tractor
Good talk, see ya later, LMAO, Did that Cow have a BIG GULP? LOL, When we saw cows in a field along the highway while traveling out to the Missile field at Minot AFB we would get on the P.A. and yell MOOOO.....MOOOOOOO and All the cows would start running in the direction of our truck. Always a good Laugh!
That’s some cold weather. Seen on Big Tractor Power were they were plowing over the snow. The field looked awful making big slabs of mud in that video. I’d say you made the right call stoping to the snow melts. No sense in ruining a field or machine. You could see the snow and mud rolling up on the DMI disk blades on BTPs video.
I could not rest by showing my support! So i wrote a message to John Deere and told them to step up and keep an eye on you guys at MF. John Deere step up and provide this man with some equipment. Loyalty is something strong!
They just need to try farming in the frozen tundra. I'm in north central North Dakota by the Canadian border so i understand exactly why we have to rush our harvest!

Nice to spend a few moments with the family after the demands of harvest blessings to you and yours
Zach, great to see you enjoy the cold weather with the kids. Best wishes !!
I love that you are a hard working farmer but you always make time for your family
MN Millennial Farmer You sure show everybody who watches this, a learning experience for thos who was not raised on a farm, and the best part is that you have got humor, you make people laugh. Keep doin' what you are doin'
Always good to see the Cows are still as talkative as ever.
Farside joke - "Hey did you see that goofy human talking to us?" Moo Moo Yea but he is okay he's a farmer, Moo!
Find myself sucked in to all your videos for like 2 hours..love it
Just another beautiful MN day.
I´m a farmer from Sweden. Lived in Maryland for a number of years. Love your work, Still miss the US. But got the green!!! Deere, still on the farm!

We hunt up at the family farm in Alex. That landscape is so familiar and so perfect.

it is a good day when i see that notification from MN Millennial Farmer
Another great video buddy!
Great work and well done. Thanks for the video. Have a wonderful day 👍 👍 👍
I always enjoy your videos but I especially enjoyed the last portion with your kids on this episode. Great family!

We use a 1949 Ford wheat truck hood for sledding behind wheeler. The shape of hood works great in deep snow .
WOW! It be COLD there!!!! 46 degrees last night at a football playoff game! We were freezing!! 63 degrees outside in East Texas this afternoon!! Stay as warm as ya can!!!
Awesome video !!!!!!!!!!!! it was *70 today here in OKC :) *beers to you * stay warm.
You should have time to load up the race car and head to St.louis for the indoor dome race the first weak of December!
Seen some farmer here in north east Ok. Combining beans tonight. we had snow here monday little earlier than normal for us. Have got trees with green leaf on them had been warm till about two weeks ago.

Good times in the frozen tundra! Have fun with the kids!
Gotta say, lovin those shops.
Here in Wisconsin there is a lot of bean fields up and they were getting a lot of corn off the fields the other day
Thanks for showing the people down in the southern states what they are missing during the winter months. LOL. There is quite a bit of corn standing in the fields up here to. We have a guy in the area that has over a 1000 acres of corn left & at least 1000 acres of beans. Boy am I glad that's not me. Thanks for the video.
Great sense of humour, cheers.
I can't wait for the winter snow plow video's - put a thrower on the same green that pulls a grain cart and throw snow as far as a locomotive!
You choking up about returning the challenger was great 😂 My two kids were out the other day doing the same thing with the sleds and 4 wheeler 👌🏻
I don't know who had more fun you or the kids.
Everyone else got snow, but the south-central part of Norway, not so much.
I've been putting off taking out my battery in my riding lawnmower before sheding it for the winter. You guys bust tail everyday in this stuff. Respect
Quad sledging is awesome. Great work. Cows were a bit sulky today though aay
Your truck appears to have a strange hue of green!!
Thanx from the left coast near the Krapitol of California
Where I farm we don't have to deal with frozen ground and are still running combines on our corn fields
I laughed so hard when you put your window down and had a talk with that cow and it just started at you like why are you disturbing this feast I am having. That was good. Keep it up mate you really are entertaining
I just got home from.becker mn I seen alot of combines cutting beans and corn
I’m up in Boise National Forest, it goes negative temps up here in the mountains
It snowed Monday night where I live. Tuesday the soybeans looked like cotton in the part of the field that the trees blocked wind. I got my soybeans out at the home place today. They are yielding good and the moisture was about 12.5%.

Wow that has to be terrible fo the potato growers
@@MillennialFarmer Ya its a tuff situation here. And some of the last potatoes to be harvested have frost damage so growers are hoping they don't breakdown in storage.
It's amazing what a difference of 200 miles is. I live down near Owatonna and we have zero snow on the ground.
Another great video! Working when it’s freezing out makes everything that much more difficult to do.
That's a fact
Had to laugh when you were cleaning the floor with that little shovel!😂. At least I now know I have one piece of equipment bigger than yours!! That what she said!🤣😈
Hey Zach...love ur content. We are from Sioux Falls. Ever make it down here? I've met Brian Hefty. We farm in SW Iowa. My dad passed away 4 years ago and I still manage the family farm down there.
Enjoy the winter break!
Thanks for the fun video. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!!
Keep your equipment running in the winter
I loved being towed by dad on the atv as a kid, only to be tackled by the family dog lol good memories
i love it where i live in Minnesota where a block is a "normal block". But in farm country in Minnesota a Block is 1 mine each way.,
Awesome fun with your kids - these are what memory's are made of!
It's crazy how fast the weather changes they're, I don't want too see the Challenger leave. Awesome video once again.
Excellent Timely Harvest. @8:00 Challenger tractor return. ..Funny! ..`@10:05 Excellent Parenting!
Sledding is so fun! We do that with my grandma!
When the Challenger arrived I was like what is that yellow thing, it needs to go. However it has become my favorite tractor. Going to hate to see it go.

Six inches of snow in November... a problem I would love to have. Great video, I enjoyed it!

Glad you guys got your crops off before the snow! That was close. #WorldsOkayestFarmer
great video zach thanks
Enjoy the winter weather 👍🏻🇺🇸
Good job Zach
When it comes to snow fun we used to use a old car bonnet behind the quad it was great fun
Our daughter's school bus stop is at the end of along country road. I used to pick her up with the Gator and pull her all the way back on a deer sled. Now she's 15 and too sophisticated...
but secretly, she wishes you would pull her home on the deer sled just one more time...
I was watching grain pit setups on RUclips the other day, and lo and behold, it appeared to be your dad doing a testimonial for Lowry Dump It :)
Wow, I didn't even know that was out there so I had to go search for it and you're right!! He was a YT star long before me!
Great video and you definitely get the cool dad award
Way colder than on the farm down in Louisiana. Harvesting 2nd crop rice now
Fun down on the farm gotta love it

lol 7:56 the tractor drops dirt on the floor you JUST cleaned as you walk away. XD
glad and happy = Glappy a state of mine where peace and contentment are the prevailing forces.
Being pulled on a sled behind stuff when I was a kid was always the best!
Awesome! Enjoy your videos!
I haven't even got a frost yet here in North Carolina on the coast
grandma must have drop him... omg love that humour
Yeah I've heard up here in Manitoba there's a lot of stuff not harvested. A lot of wheat and potatoes and stuff.
Great video Zach 👍🏻👍🏻

No freeze wind shield wiper fluid was my friend in Alaska. How many acres do yall have?
Awesome video Again case red it's a pretty but not like the green green is cool looks like the kids were having fun be safe up there
You need to fab some guards to keep the snow off all those motors and pulleys.
They just need to try farming in the frozen tundra. I'm in north central North Dakota by the Canadian border so i understand exactly why we have to rush our harvest!
Can’t beat a quad a rope and a sled=lots of fun. Great video
Sweeper for a skid steer or tractor makes cleaning up shop floor easy also it's good for cleaning up track out on the road
