Fictionally, that helicopter is one badass piece of hardware. Realistically, however, it's slow AF with the extra modifications done to the SA-341G Gazelle. I had a relative that used to work as part of the set crew and he said he'd always hear the stunt pilots complain about how dangerously overweight the real machine was to fly. It was painfully obvious during the shots where you'd see the helicopter coming "straight" at the camera while *listing* forward an angle.
Who played Thunder Blade in the 80’s?… Thank God for Sega! When it wasn’t this game, I was Pete Mitchell in the Sega arcade classic After Burner flying the F-14 Tomcat… Good Times!

I actually like the Blue Thunder TV show theme a lot better than the Airwolf theme. While the Airwolf theme was more iconic, it gets pretty monotonous after awhile of listening to it. The Blue Thunder series theme on the other hand has a pretty catchy beat that makes you tap your feet and whistle along to it.
