Our Jets having laser systems instead of machine guns and missiles for offensive and defensive usage. Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, etc. would be constantly wondering what is coming next in terms of military hardware for active military usage against them. Hell Yeah!!!!

Any remake would be poor . The original 3 seasons was perfectly cast .The 4th season with a different cast was rightly cancelled because it was basically imposters trying to milk off it's earlier success. !

The 80s were the best to be life because of good shows like Macgyver and Airwolf and Night Rider and A team with night hawk and all the movies it was different time NFL football game And NBA games and the Baseball team all of it was good to watch them play not anymore there not any of the players do not playing ever hered anymore.

The depiction of how Hawke and the Lady are so in tune is very well done. But some things in the show are just silly, like the glowing missiles. Just looks so funny!
The glowing missiles (optical effects) was basically the only way they could be done at the time that gave them freedom, otherwise they would be stuck using missile mock-ups strapped to cameraships which would mean even more reused footage.

This is one of those episodes which the battle scene theme was very long. When I saw these long fight episodes with long theme, I felt so lucky somehow. Yesterday, 10/6/24, there was a re-run of the full episode1 on cable channel and just saw that. When I first saw was 12yr old, and did only understand the just tiny bit of English. Now the age of almost 50 and having spent some years of my school time in the states side, I fully understood. Phrases I could only repeat by the sound and not by words, I now could repeat. There will not be any more too obvious situations like this, that myself has changed over years since the back then. Such an epic TV series that is still stuck to my memory after so many years.

Thanks, took a few weeks to put together. There is an air wolf 2 re-edit on here I done some years ago, might look into remaking it as the resolution was never great.
The only accident on the show cost the life of a stuntman when a huey clipped the top of a hill. The fact was ratings were getting low, and the show was expensive to produce. It went from being a cold war series to being similar to the a team in a lot of ways.

If a remake came around, captain Kirk in the co-pilot's seat Sulu. In the pilot's seat, Mr. Spock. In the rear monitoring radar and engineer scott, controlling the weapon system, Spock would say 5 migs approaching us and Kirk would say Scotty fire photon. Torpedoes
i do hope they will make remake of airwolf.. we saw the remake of legendary series like mcgyver, hawaii five 0, knight rider and I hope airwolf also get the chance of remake.. but truthly is, the original airwolf series really are the masterpiece for me.. the theme, the cast, the opening song and not forget the airwolf itself absolutely masterpiece.
