I believe the Justin Edwards "down year" at UK can be contributed to the Calipari system, his system leans towards guards unless he has a dominate big, there's a reason Calipari doesn't produce high end SF's or wings in general, and it wasn't just Justin Edwards that didn't do what was "expected", D.J Wagner who was just as highly regarded coming out of HS ALSO didn't look as good as expected at UK, but the backcourt as always stood out in his system even though it a a bit crowded. I mean just look at all the Calipari players in the NBA or were in the NBA during the Calipari run at UK.
Justin Edwards showed signs of potential at UK, but was inconsistent and sometimes disappeared during games. However, he has a high ceiling of talent if he continues developing as a player. 👍 GBB!
The nba is a business I bet he has top ten jersey sales this year which is crazy but it’s marketing Lebron using his son to make the league tons of money and in return he wants his own team
@@Mrgiftedsoul still took money out of some family's mouth. Money that he doesn't need. Bronny could have been a good real estate agent, Meanwhile Bron will be complaining that he doesn't have enough pieces while wasting a spot nor to take a pay cut in order o make that happen.
How about Keion Brooks from Washington. 21.3 points a game. 6.8 rebounds a game,39.5 percent from 3 points land. 49.5 fg percentage. He's 6-7 210. Played in Pac 12 competition. He should of been drafted.
Bronny got drafted but actually good prospects went undrafted lmao its so funny how teams always waste 2nd rounders on guys with potential if everything goes right over guys who were actually good in college
@@alexescutia4805you are repeating what you have seen posted everywhere You are leaving out that aj played 7mpg in a league with grown men Not 20mpg in the bad pac12 Why does anyone compare them when it isn’t close for mpg or competition?
Lol of course Bronny got drafted, his dad is LeBron James.... Usually successful ppl set there kids up, it's an advantage to getting to the Pinnacle. This happens in all industries and it's not a big deal. Lakers had one second round pick, they used it to make their biggest name, who could enter FA, happy... Most picks from 50-60 don't pan out, if Bronny doesn't make it in long run, that's what's expected and happens to 95% of players drafted in that range. If they used #17 on him, that'd be different but they used a burner pick with very little value to make a star happy.
Trey Alexander will have a long nba career while most the guys taken round 2 will be outta the league I a few years . They just overthought it he will get a standard nba deal from Denver by the allstar break after they see him dominate summer league & play well in his opportunities early in the regular season
the only player on your list I disagree with is Jalen Bridges. Honestly just dont think he is very good. But Phoenix was probably the best landing spot for him
I have no idea why Trey Alexander is so underrated he plays like such a pro, so smooth
Facts he’s so smooth
Apparently the pros don’t think so
At least he got a two way contract with the Denver Nuggets. That's a good team that can develop him.
I Agree. How about Armando Acott North Carolina. But The Lakers think that Bronny is better.
@@johnlarson9246 every team did apparently he went undrafted
Have to have at least one guy named Jaylen, Jaylon, Jaelyn, etc. on this list
Justin Edwards name not being called still has me confused I thought the heat would draft him in rd 2

Reminds me of Robert Covington minus the defense with better upside as a shooter.
Any idea why he is so old?
All those guys are better than bronny
but this works is more who you know, and it's not like bronny wasn't a prospect
How do You think Bronny is a prospect? He is short and his ceiling is prime Beverley@@diongreen3261
Only one pick used for bronny. There 57 other second round picks

I like boogie ellis..
Justin Edwards was a top recruit I'm surprised nobody got him
5:30 is the reason he didn't drafted lol .. why did you use that clip
So in short, all of this better players was snubbed because of one last name 🎉
Their Dads didn't draft then so that's why
That’s one team, how come no other teams took them then.
Ha ha ha I know right wack ass Bronny James 😅😅😅😅
I said the needs to be with the 56th pick of the 2024 nba draft lebron James picks Bronny james😂

Love Jalen Bridges too bad Raptors never picked him up to pair with his teammate at Baylor JaKobe.

Thank you for the podcast
I was hoping warriors drafted pj hall. They need size more than anyone
Keshad Johnson is better than poverty Ron Holland picked up by the pistons smh 🤦♀️
KJ Jones II.
Jc5 from Oregon the pelicans picked him up
@Hoops Reference No undrafted International players?
What about Dj burns
Somebody should have picked up Terrance Hargrove Jr
dj burns??? He may be a little bit out of fit but he led the wolfpack to the final 4 as an 11 seed I hav hope in him same with dj horne
I thought Armando Bacot would've gotten drafted.
Nfaly Dante
I wish Lakers would've got him
shouldve been them over bronny
BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT. READY FOR THE NBA. GO BACK TO SCHOOL
Caleb love, Coleman Hawkins ?
Both withdrew from the draft. Hawkins got $2m from K-State. More than he'd have gotten in the 2nd rd.
Bronny James took one of there spots
💯 😅😅
More like all the French guys
Isn't Isaiah Crawford also undrafted?
But Bronny went 2nd round?!?! WTF
If you’re gonna make a video on guys not getting drafted, please show at least college highlights 😂
All of these guys deserved their names being called over Bronny "nepotism" James
Damn bro did yo daddy ever do anything for you?
Aj johnson
one of these guys got snubbed because of Bronny James smh ones that actually deserved the honor of being drafted
All way better than Lebrons kid
Dj burns, c'mon man
LeGM have lakers by d balls
Well Justin Edwards just had 0 point in his debut smh, hopefully he turns it around
