Can you please explain, how zoom a picture only in the window and not the window as a whole? I want only zoom the picture in and out and not whole window, i hope you understand what i mean🙂
I TA'd for Dave Cross at MAX in 2016, and he told us a story about Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski being blown away by the quality of Dave's hair masking. He had to fess up that he had painted in peripheral hair just as you suggested in this video. It's something I'd been doing for a good long while already so I was pleased to see Dave using the same trick. I was using some of the Aaron Blaise hair brushes a few days ago, and reminded of just how good they are. I think the set cost US$5, but that is outstanding value. Thank you for sharing your hair preset. BTW A trick I use for single strands is to use a 1 pixel fully hard brush, with size and opacity set to Fade. Keep spacing nice and low (below 5%) and use a Fade value of about 1000 for a full res image. You need to feather the start of the stroke, and sometimes reduce the layer opacity. I loved this video as always. You never fail to impress, and I always learn a new trick or two.
This is an excellent tutorial. Thank you so much! I've been going back and editing some portraits I photographed last year and I can't believe how much I've improved the image and also having so much fun with generative fill and generative expand.
This tutorial is as always amazingly well done and exemptional well explained! You are on of the best teachers I encountered so far! Thank you so much for more insight to how use these cool new techniques
Great tutorial - Thanks. However, the scene changes make me dizzy. Too many changes that happen too quickly. I suggest leaving out many of the illustrations to navigating in PS and focusing on the workflow.
I have PS2024 on my computer now and all is fine excpent the blur tool. It brurs part of the foreground subject andf parts of background. Any suggestions?
Thank you, sir.. since I received this kind of update, I never tried it because still concerned about how and what should adjust with these new features. Waiting for a video from PTC for a clear explanation.
As ever, an excellent tutorial video updating a technique to reflect the updates in PS. Sensibly and logically explained and demonstrated. Thank you for continuing my education and my enjoyment in using PS, especially in this time of increased use of AI which is exciting and, let's be honest, scary if not used with human intelligence too.
Inside the Photoshop there is also a filter Blur > Lens Blur, that does the same thing and has more options. In my opinion this should be used sparingly when you want to enhance an existing blur just a bit more.

Thank you, @TrevorDennis100! And yeah, painting it in is probably the only way to do it. Thanks for sharing your technique!

Thank you very much, Jesús. Fine explained.
You're welcome!
Great tutorial as always, Jesus. Thanks.
Have you ever counted how many steps your tutorials have? Let Adobe know this is time consuming, so these steps can be drastically reduced.

Hello, I want to start learning image editing with Photoshop, do I need AI tools, neural filters, etc.?
when I click Generate it adds a distorted looking person in all 3 options... :(
Plez Photoshop 2024 download link send
Thanks Jesus, you are the best!
You're welcome, @BrianPSpurr!
Very nice tutorial, thanks.
Thanks, very useful. In PS, is there a way to get just the depth map (when you check "VIsualize"), but without the underlying real picture?
Unfortunately, there is not.
You can get the depth map in Photoshop by using Filters > Neural Filters > Depth Blur, and then tick Output depth map only.
When I used generative fill and leave blank it came up with a dog and then a young boy. My portrait is a male musician?????
I have the sameproblem

The best explanation of the Blur Tool I have seen. Certainly simplifies it. Thank you
Man I tried it and it is freaking good.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you very much, Jesús sir
Useful, very useful! Thanks Jesus!
Thank you Master
Funtastic tutorial... Thank you
I’ve noticed it is buggy, once back in photoshop the blur disappears really odd. 🤷

very nice. thank you Sir
Thanxs Genius - My best

Nice! Thanks
Prefiero un lente 1.4f
Fantastický tutoriál, a ukázka rozostření pozadí v RAW ok.
Thanks Jesús...
Thanks!.
Best teacher ever
Way too many steps. But great video
If you do this, you lose your "professional" card and my friendship.
I do it all the time in my professional work with some of the top movie studios in the world.
Photoshop is too complicated
Looks cheesy and fake
