Yes normally you would put both the white wire and ground wire in the the metal strip if it was a single pole breaker, but this being a double breaker you put white on one terminal and black on the other terminal, got it thanks 👍 , just needed a refresher course I guess as it's been awhile since I've done this LOL!
I just replaced my electric hot water heater and it only has a red wire, black wire and ground but mu circuit from the panel has a red, black ground and a white wire, I only used the black red and ground and capped off the white wire. Is this correct, or do I attach the white wire to the red wires? Thanks!
Oh my God it was way too excruciating to watch. I could have pulled that wire without having to strain myself like that. Maybe use a step ladder? Don't play stretch Armstrong
Down here in Georgia we use ladders lol

I've never skinned my wire before I put it in panel that's a new one on me

Because it doesn't use a neutral wire. The red and black each are 120v.
So I take " some" gauge wire and a 2 pole "whatever" Amp breaker and just put it together and it will work.
10/2 wire 30 amp double pull
@@XLEG1x I think he likes the whatever breakers better
what something like that cost
Thank u for this vid
Maybe have a close up of the work?
You spent Way to much Time!!!!!! Stringing the wire!!!! Not necessary.....

This is the worst how to do I’ve ever seen. It’s more like watch me do.
