Cheers mate, i appreciate it! Glad you're enjoying the videos! In terms of the earlier games i would go for FM2005 or FM2007, 2007 probably edges it for me though as i love the interface (something about it is just so nostalgic), also i think the match engine is great with that edition and it really is a lot of fun to play. In terms of the more recent ones, i really enjoyed 2014 and 2017. How about yourself? Which were your favourite editions?
If I remember rightly in FM06 there were some amazing players you could sign from Peru for free - I used to start in league two and they’d sign for you there and stick with you up into the Prem
@ you don’t need it loaded, if you go into world squads and look at Peru there were some bargains - a good central defender and midfielder who’d join you in league two and hold their own into the championship/prem!
I was very impressed by him, that's actually the first time i've ever played him. Will have to look more closely him on CM 01 02 if you think he's good on there too!
Yeah i run it off a disc copy on windows 10. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the link below and install a patch which is pretty simple, will link that below: www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/ji5620/fm_2005200620072008_windows_10_fix/?rdt=60053
@@Toooldforthis78 "Ballon Dor winner" Michael Owen scored about five more goals than Emile Heskey that season. He was outscored in the league by Marcus Stewart.
Michael Owen is one of my favorite players and no, no way he was that good in 06. FM 06 went absolutely insane with attributes, it is probably FM with most unrealistic attributes. I think even Palermo in Serie A had better team than any of the current teams in never games, they had like 3 central defenders with 20 for marking
Yeah i did change formation a lot with Sunderland, i went through a pretty barron patch losing quite a few in a row with the 3-5-2 and from that point onwards switched it up a lot more
these football manager games not free, but championship manager 01/02 was made free to play version with databases by different years if you wish, on champman0102 forums
Unfortunately i didn't download it, i run it off a disc on Windows 10. In total it cost around 10$ to buy it on ebay. To get it run you have to install a patch, i followed the instructions on here: www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/ji5620/fm_2005200620072008_windows_10_fix/?rdt=34666 Hope that's helpful, and you can get on there to play
Lol yeah it's been a pretty brutal few years for you guys recently, glad you're doing well this season though hopefully you can return to the top flight!
I think all Football Manager games had programmed bias towards Manchester United based on the long standing association between Sports Interactive and the club. Following their falling out 3-4 years ago though, I believe they have since removed this. I mean, I could be wrong, but just to prove a point I once finished 5th in the league playing a 1-5-4 formation with Eric Djemba Djemba in goal.
Bringing in andy gray from sky sports was a mad decision, he must have been in his mid 50s.
I'm a Blade and was guttered when he left for Sunderland. Think he scored on his debut for them and never scored again!
@@demongorr You're right, vs Charlton.
Just found this channel and I love it. Keep it up.
Which FM is your favorite?

That sounds like a lot of fun, i've never loaded up the Peruvian league before but i may have to if it's a bit of a goldmine lol
@ you don’t need it loaded, if you go into world squads and look at Peru there were some bargains - a good central defender and midfielder who’d join you in league two and hold their own into the championship/prem!
Don't forget they had Dan Smith aka the guy who kickstarted Abou Diaby's injury hell
That's a good point, i didn't use him much but now you bring him up he was definitely there at the time.
This is my new favourite FM channel.
Cheers mate i appreciate it! Hope you're having a great week!
Julio Arca - legend of CM 01/02!
I was very impressed by him, that's actually the first time i've ever played him. Will have to look more closely him on CM 01 02 if you think he's good on there too!
Well done!

Man Im so jealous, Ive been wanting to play fm 06 for years but Im not sure how to get it. Do you just run the game off the disc?

4:09 - Michael Owen's attributes are insane. Was he really that good in '06?
Ballon Dor winner but by that point was at Newcastle and in reality had pretty much given up
@@Toooldforthis78 "Ballon Dor winner" Michael Owen scored about five more goals than Emile Heskey that season. He was outscored in the league by Marcus Stewart.
He was decent but already past his peak summer 06 was when it started to go bad
Those attributes sound more like "what if Owen didn't decline so early?"

You seemed to be changing formation every match?
Yeah i did change formation a lot with Sunderland, i went through a pretty barron patch losing quite a few in a row with the 3-5-2 and from that point onwards switched it up a lot more
Forgot how highly rated Stead was at the time!
You're right there, he was formidable on this game!
That was a truly terrible squad. It's crazy how much better the Premier League is now
Lol yeah it was tough going with that squad to say the least!
We all dream of a TEAM OF GARY BREENS! A TEAM OF GARY BREENS! A TEAM OF GARY BREENS!
Lol that's a funny chant! And one i will join in on when i manage Sunderland again!
Did you download this ? And do you have link ?

Love to see you do a Gareth bale Prime at Cardiff was in the league or back at Southampton this year see if they could keep Russel Martin side up
That's a great idea with Gareth Bale will add that to my list and definitely look into that soon!
your save was bugged mate, arsenal won the title somehow.
Lol that's funny, i'm not sure how that happened!
😂😂😂
As a Sunderland fan, that squad makes me sad
